Issue with an anon on Trashy Celebrities Wiki

Anonymous user 74.194.244.147 has constantly been adding content on the mh:trashycelebritieswiki:Mathieu Brunet (2016-Present) page on Trashy Celebrities Wiki stating that Brunet is "stupid," should die, and should get arrested for his actions (even though he hasn't done anything illegal). I have already told him that calling him "stupid" is potentially cyberbullying, and I don't really need to explain what's wrong with the other two. He has constantly been re-adding it despite my attempts to get him to stop it. Could a steward or global sysop please block him from the wiki temporarily? The discussion was originally just meant to last a week or so and technically wasn't even a discussion but instead a forewarning of what was to happen. Because the wiki will always have negative topics as it's main focus, it would be hard to prevent any future pages from containing injurious claims in the future. As such, after conferring with 2 other Stewards, I actioned this topic and closed the wiki or else another Steward would have done the same this very week. Local election proccess iniated to recover bureaucrat rights on sucessor account

 non-steward observation As previously noted by the SRE team members, we cannot verify that you are the successor account of Balofo, so it is already advised for you to check out the local election page for getting your rights back. Briefly, the process should take at least 4-7 days (you seemed to place this request after 10 minutes of you election), and the request should usually be placed in Talk:Main Page (your linked election page is in the mainspace, which doesn't serve the purpose to inform the users), in your case when there are no project pages for the community to discuss any issues. Please follow the procedures stated, and re-note the stewards here when the election has passed for 4-7 days, and you should been granted admin and bureaucrat rights at that time by steward discretion. We can't give out rights liberally as we can't verify if you're really the old bureaucrat. If we did, we'd have a lot of wiki takeovers. Over the past few weeks, the CLG Wiki has seen multiple sockpuppet accounts from two sockpuppeteers. Although one of them had been previous requested for this tool, they have made more evasions recently.

Issue with Tedious Theme Parks & Attractions Wiki

mh:tediousthemeparksandattractions:Tedious Theme Parks & Attractions Wiki is a wiki I founded as a sister wiki to mh:awesomethemeparksandattractions:Awesome Theme Parks and Attractions Wiki, until I then found out one already existed. I attempted to close it multiple times, however, for some reason, I have several times now received emails saying that it has been closed, even though I thought I closed it already. Mass rollback of spammer

Hello, a probable spambot with username Sherexxx inserted a porn image with a QR link in thousands of pages on Nonciclopedia wiki. We manually rollbacked a few thousands of those but they're just too much, would it be possible to rollback all its edits at once?

Also, we have an abuse filter that is supposed to stop flood edits from new users, but it didn't catch this one. Could you give it a look?

Stale local election

In the most technical of senses, this election does not meet our local election requirements as you did not publish a notice of the election taking place on either the main page or as a sitenotice. However, because you were the one who requested the wiki be reopened, are basically the only contributor and because the wiki, before your contributions, was quite literally empty, I have called the election in your favor by means of acclamation and have  promoted you to local bureaucrat and administrator. Dormancy policy exemption request

Hello! I would like to request an exemption to the dormancy policy for Fool's Gold Docs (https://foolsgold.miraheze.org/wiki/Main_Page). Yes, that's precisely it. We have approximately 400-450 articles, and they're all completed, so there does not need to be much more editing left, if any. However, we would still like the wiki to stay up past the dormancy period, so that those playing the game can still read the articles. I hope that clears it up. A user that may have been unrightfully locked

There is a now-locked user known as I have no idea, who is marked as a sockpuppet of I have no idea 2.0. However, there are many flaws with this lock:

1. For one thing, I have no idea is the master account, not I have no idea 2.0, as I have no idea was created first.
2. After looking at their contributions page on all wikis to which they have been shown to contribute on their CentralAuth (not checking the others where they may have commented or done something else that only appears in logs because there's a lot and it isn't worth my time, also I haven't checked GMW because I currently can't access it), they have not edited on a single wiki with I have no idea since they created I have no idea 2.0, with the exception of Miraheze Meta (where they commented for verification). Therefore, this is not really disruptive sockpuppetry.
3. Despite all of this, it is stated that the use of the two accounts has somehow violated sockpuppetry rules. There is no clear proof of other abuse, other than their CentralAuth showing that they were blocked by DarkMatterMan4500 from the game reception wikis for allegedly using an unnamed "fake Santa Claus account" and other unnamed accounts, however there is no clear proof of this, therefore this is questionable.

If there is something I'm missing then please tell me, but otherwise, I would disagree that these actions are worthy of a global lock. FatBurn0000 (sandbox | CentralAuth) 08:44, 28 July 2022 (UTC)

Likely this lock was confirmed with technical evidence that has long expired and is not able to be retrieved. Locks for sockpuppetry overwhelmingly have technical confirmation which can override even vague behavioral indications that people can see looking back long after the fact. There are likely other locks or contexts in this case which are not immediately obvious. Unless the original operator of the account appeals or overwhelming third party evidence is provided, this lock will not be overridden. --Raidarr (talk) 12:05, 28 July 2022 (UTC)

I concur with Raidarr's assessment here, FatBurn0000. That being said, assuming the operator of said accounts has not already created other accounts that were involved in similar behaviours, given the passage of time, if the operator were to e-mail Stewards at stewardsmiraheze.org, owning up to the vandalism and sockpuppetry, acknowledging any more contemporary accounts they created in good-faith, and promised not to repeat the behaviour, I have no doubt Stewards would be very accepting of that and allow the user to either (a) continue using their more contemporary account(s), (b) create a new account, or (c) request one of the prior accounts be unlocked, all in compliance with user accounts policy. I am making this request because I have been observing some very eerily familiar behavior from both parties that are identical to the master: These 2 accounts have been very hostile towards other editors on both the horriblemusicwiki and the terribletvshowswiki. For example, this hostile edit summary (or otherwise inappropriate comment) from LambChop90 is identical to RickERB23's comments in terms of hostility.

Similar hostile behavior from all parties: LambChop90 vs. RickERB23. LambChop90 vs. RickERB23.

Similar behavior when engaging in edit-warring: Schoolboy99 vs. LambChop90 vs. RickERB23

As you can see, there's a lot of behavioral similarities between these 2 accounts and the master, that is, if we were to go further in depth of how they are quacking similarly to one another. For an example pertaining to Schoolboy99 and terribletvshowswiki, there is edit summaries like this, where he compared me to China just for removing political stuff. Rick demonstrated similar behavior to removal of problematic material through a previous sock, RadarYo47, in this topic where he demonstrated the same irrationally uncivil behavior as Rick. Report Wikilouco users for cyberbully

Tem um usuário chamado Jonnys que fez alguns artigos copiando as minhas discussão louca que eu comento pela destruipedia, eu tentei conversar com o The Log, o atual burocrata naquela Wiki para dar um jeito nesse usuário, mas ele além de zombar do meu pedido, como também me baniu infinitamente nessa wiki e deletou todas as minhas edições feitas naquele site. Eu acredito que eles estejam quebrando alguma regra sobre essa comunidade, sobre desrespeito dos usuários.

Translation: There is a user called Jonnys who made some articles copying my crazy discussion that I comment on destruipedia, I tried talking to The Log, the current bureaucrat on that Wiki to fix this user, but he not only mocked my request, but also infinitely banned me from this wiki and deleted all my edits made on that site. Yo-kai Watch Blasters created by 2601:58a:180:44c0:9d9a:d535:277e:78fc looks to be a cross between vandalism and nonsense, so can be deleted as the latter. 2601:58a:180:44c0:9d9a:d535:277e:78fc looks to be a Comcast cable IP address, and could be blocked for vandalism, including globally, but given the age, that wouldn't be necessary. Generally, it depends on a number of factors. If the account was made by a serial puppeteer who used the account for a little time then it would be a waste of time to do that. On the other hand, if the sock was used extensively and a random lock out of nowhere is likely to confuse people then yes, tagging a user would be appropriate.
