Wiki created[edit source]

Hello, I would like to tell you that I have created your wiki. You can now access it at https://isac.miraheze.org. You should have been automatically granted administrator and bureaucrat rights, if that's not the case then please leave a notice on Stewards' noticeboard so we can fix it immediately. Do not hesitate to ask questions if your question was not answered in our FAQ. Also, if you want an extension, gadget, or anything else, please ask us here. Thank you for choosing Miraheze, and we wish you good luck with your wiki! -- Void Whispers 16:46, 21 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Please help me with... ...with a strange behaviour I never noticed before: when on page https://isac.miraheze.org/wiki/File:Flyer-Linz.pdf activating the link <Upload a new version of this file> I get the warnings:

  • A file with this name exists already, please check File:Flyer-Linz.pdf if you are not sure if you want to change it. File:Flyer-Linz.pdf
  • The upload is an exact duplicate of the current version of File:Flyer-Linz.pdf.
  • A file identical to this file (File:Flyer-Linz.pdf) has previously been deleted. You should check that file's deletion history before proceeding to re-upload it.

But these warning do NOT apply to the file attached above. And if I override the warnings, the file is not being replaced, even after deletion of the file.

What did I overlook this time? What can I do?

Thanks a lot in advance! Walther Wneuper (talk) 19:57, 17 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

The logs indicate that you tried to upload the file to Meta instead of your wiki. Is this the problem or were you trying to upload it to demonstrate the new version or something? — Arcversin (talk) 20:10, 17 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Images/files not updating is a bug on our end. The server should be purging the cache when you upload a new version, but this is not occurring. Instead the file cache on the server is only being invalidated after a week. We are looking for a fix in phab:T7441. -- Void Whispers 20:36, 17 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
