URGENT: False Claim[edit source]

https://drawnfeet.miraheze.org/wiki/Animated_Feet_Scenes_Wiki Is only closed because of an error or some false article request to it being closed.

I couldn’t do anything about it because I’m not a manager on this wiki unlike you, but if it still remains to stay like this I have to save these articles and it will take a while to get it to move elsewhere. - DeltaRuneFan2001 (talk) 15:51, 15 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

When is Animated Feet and Shoes Wikis going to return? 23.28.112.244 03:05, 22 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

If you aren't able to do whatever you can to bring Drawn Feet Wiki back from a false closing claim announcement, I'll just have to do PaladinDeGigantas suggestion from March 20, 2019. - DeltaRuneFan2001 (talk) 16:35, 15 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

DeltaRuneFan2001, please note that the closure is indeed in error.
Miraheze has a script for inactivity that looks at recent changes, and recent changes were wiped on the migration.
The damage should be fixed shortly, but it can be manually fixed in the meantime through ManageWiki by a bureaucrat (Tycio) or if Dmehus (a Steward) catches up first. Cheers. --Raidarr (talk) 22:47, 15 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
DeltaRuneFan2001, please note, I've  re-opened that wiki already. Dmehus (talk) 22:49, 15 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Does this mean that exempt wikis don't have this script? My wiki didn't have that warning. --YellowFrogger (Talk) 22:55, 15 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Exempt wikis are ignored by the wiki closure and deletion script, yes, but this was a one-time issue related to the server migration. As far as I'm aware, it's been resolved, so we just need manually reopen any inadvertently affected wikis. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 22:57, 15 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Dmehus: Thanks for the explanation --YellowFrogger (Talk) 00:19, 16 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Glad this got fixed, though I'm sad I missed the chance to intervene early via ManageWiki, assuming I could've figured out how to. ty 15:42, 22 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Help[edit source]

I can't access to Drawn Feet Wiki. It is only limited to Members, Sysop/Admins. I need to be a member of the wiki. Think you could help an old friend out? Kevbo182 (talk) 09:59, 20 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

It was shut down for global policy violations as I recall. --Raidarr (talk) 14:23, 20 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
The issues have to do with "fair use" warnings (in the case of Miraheze this is "fair dealing" since they're based in UK) but the word "fair" doesn't even appear at https://meta.miraheze.org/wiki/Content_Policy which makes it confusing. ty 09:21, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Copyright infringement is specified in the latter part of Section 2 under 'illegal content'. I believe in this case a formal complaint was made (an active Steward would have to clarify), and upon review the issue was so systemic as to merit closure. --Raidarr (talk) 14:07, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Is there a way to revive it for the purpose to move it to its own site where we have to pay for it? - DeltaRuneFan2001 (talk) 01:04, 12 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

I brought the wiki back[edit source]

https://support.shoutwiki.com/tickets.php?id=4416 You might want to check this out, I did try to look for a solution to bring it back but one thing I could do was to rename a wiki on ShoutWiki, other than that a user did suggest to do a Patreon support to the wiki back then and I was thinking back on it as well. - DeltaRuneFan2001 (talk) 20:59, 15 March 2023 (UTC) http://drawnfeet.shoutwiki.com/ It’s now back for an update. - DeltaRuneFan2001 (talk) 17:56, 1 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
