Last night I "registered" here at meta.miraheze.org. Thank you for having me! I would like to get acquainted, and contribute some elements I think are of value. In the course of time I hope you think so too!

I have been around for a while, at other places in CyberSpace, and spent many hours on the subject of "personal computing". And yet there are moments I have this "newbie feeling" all over again! Like entering your domain for the first time.

First of all, while registering, there were these error messages I can't really get my head around. The text was boxed in red, and I felt insecure. It seemed as if I was not accepted. I tried two other usernames, and the third time around: presto ... I felt lucky!

The second issue, that I encountered: the first welcome screen - or rather: "the onboarding screen" - I feel is very overwhelming. It might be my age: I'm sixty-nine! So I will be trying to find my way around...

I've just started sharing my "user experience" with you, and would like to contribute in improving the "onboarding process". And of course start a wiki shortly...

So, once again: many thanks for having me!

Kind regards,
