Autopatrolled granted[edit source]

Hi Tom191,

In reviewing your Meta contributions, it seems that you are making useful contributions to Meta in terms of knowing both its purpose and scope. In addition, you generally appear to understand the purpose of each of our noticeboards and, barring one instance of an {{unsigned}} signature, understand talk page (including noticeboard and user talk page) guidelines. Thus, to ease the patrol backlog, I have granted you autopatrolled. Technically, this doesn't really give you any additional user rights here; it's more about easing the patrol backlog for patrollers (please don't create this page yet; there's an active RfC right now discussing the proposed split of the autopatrol and patrol user group rights), so this documentation page will only be created if and upon the RfC's successful passing).

Please ensure that you always remember to sign your noticeboard and talk page posts and, if ever in doubt about which noticeboard to use to propose or ask something, don't hestitate to {{ping}} me.

Nomination of Reception123 for steward[edit source]

Hi Tom191,

I understand your good-faith nomination of @Reception123: for steward and, while technically allowed, best practice holds that you should discuss with the potential candidate in advance with regard to potentially nominating them, so that the candidate has a say in your nomination statement, potential questions, and so forth. Moreover, and more importantly, the candidate can let you know whether they want the position and would accept the nomination.

While I would support Reception123 for steward without question, I also know the candidate is both a system administrator and a bureaucrat on Meta, so they may be not so inclined for that position at this time as they are also involved actively as a Global Sysop.
