Miraheze global user restriction

Hi SperosDurrell,

Firstly, my apologies for the delay in preparing this message on your user talk page, as I've been busy with other tasks, both on Miraheze and elsewhere.

At any rate, recently you requested deletion of a rather large number of wikis you requested to have created, made a few edits on each then seemingly otherwise abandoned, ostensibly because you couldn't enlist willing volunteers to help edit your wikis. This led to another user creating an RfC that, admittedly, was not the best, or even correct, venue to address what is a cross-wiki user conduct issue. While that RfC has since been closed as such, the fact that you are both continuing to request wikis, making no or few edits, then abandoning them and/or requesting deletion, is problematic, particularly since you have been warned, here, and elsewhere, including at stewards' noticeboard, community noticeboard, and my own user talk page, as I recall. Moreover, the fact that you have been switching user accounts with increasing frequency is also highly problematic, particularly as Reception123, myself, and perhaps others have asked not to welcome every new user account on Meta or to ask them to volunteer on your wikis on more than one occasion, so the fact the problematic behaviour has continued across your illegitimate sockpuppet accounts is rather deceptive and duplicitous, whether or not this was intentional.

While this contravened user accounts policy, I believe you are a good editor, and that is why only your sockpuppet accounts have been globally locked (those which were known or which I could otherwise remember). If I've missed any, please do let me know.

Additionally, to prevent reoccurrence of the abuse of user accounts policy, as you seem to have difficulty curbing this on your own, a global user restriction on Miraheze is necessary, as it essentially is us helping you to help yourself. As such, you are subject to an indefinite limitation by Stewards to using only your SperosDurrell user account on Miraheze. In terms of your tendency to request and have created a high number of wikis, on which you make no to only a few edits, as I've guided you in the past at the aforementioned user talk and talk pages, you may only request one (1) public and one (1) private wiki on a topic of personal interest to you (the private wiki can be for your personal notes, drafts, other ephemera, and the like) and which you would continue to edit regardless of whether other users wish to join you.

When Stewards are satisfied after a reasonable period of time that you've learned from, and corrected, the problems that gave rise to these two (2) restrictions, the restrictions will be removed, and you will be notified of such. If, on the other hand, disruption continues, other measures may be considered.

Yes, you can, but I strongly recommend this is be a wiki on which you will have great interest in and will be fully comfortable with editing it by yourself, as other than a potential private wiki for yourself, it will be your only wiki whilst the restriction is in place.
