Why would like to create another Uncyc, though you can't even handle Uncyclopedia2.0 and asking help to almost everyone? I want to move Carlb's Simple English Uncyc to Miraheze and this request is made in good faith, i assume good faith and i want another simple english uncyc instead of Carlb's simple uncyclopedia. --Psl631 (Let's Chat!) 07:42, 1 March 2019 (UTC)

Look, some members from uncyclopedia.co and Miraheze are planning to reorganize Uncycs following the recent kick of them by Fandom. Creating Uncycs without any conclusions drawn will affect relations between Uncycs and Miraheze. Discussion notifications

As you have probably noticed by now, Site updates have not been sent/updated for a while. The main reason for this is the fact that there was not an interest in it, and there was not enough information that was worth sending to users monthly.

I am sending this message to the Site updates list because I would like to propose a trying out a different type of notice sent to users. Instead of monthly updates of a limited number of statistics (which can be consulted by users anyway), staff would instead notify interested users if there is an interesting discussion (on Community noticeboard or Stewards' noticeboard) or if there is a local vote on Meta. Currently, there is no incentive for many users to visit Meta and check recent changes to see if there is anything they would be interested in, so this system would fix that and notify users of that so they can join in the discussion whenever there is one.

In order to subscribe to these notifications, please add your name in the same format to Discussion notifications/List, and you will start being notified on your talkpage. If there is interest in these notifications, they will be continued.

Also, please note that at least for the time being Site updates will be discontinued (since all the statistics are available anyway).

Moving (mostly) to Uncyc2

Hi!

This is Nigel Scribbler from uncyclopedia.ca. I'm looking to very largely move away from there but perhaps continue with limited admin duties. You can confirm this is me by contacting me on my talk page over there. Recall that my username was spoofed on 2.0 a while ago; I may ask for a change back to a similar name.

I say this because I plan on duping several articles (wholly my work only) over here to jumpstart things. I'm assuming I can do this as I am the copyright holder and can assign rights to whomever I want. If you find this troublesome, I can do rewrites.

I am also requesting admin rights that will not only allow me to fix things on the fly but do the usual antivandal patrol and suchlike. Note that I have over 10k edits since joining the wikia version/.ca in mid 2017. --Karakorum (talk) 06:56, 21 January 2020 (UTC)
