From Meta

Request[edit source]

I would like to inform you that the page no longer exists, but I followed the recommendation, so there will be a new name. Onmp314 (talk) 13:58, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Starting RfCs[edit source]

Hi Onmp314,

I hope and trust you will not mind, but I have BOLDly moved your RfC to a subpage of your userspace, which you can access here, for several reasons, not necessarily ranked in order of importance:

  1. The proposal was unclear;
  2. The proposal seemed to be a duplication of an existing, active community discussion at community noticeboard, for which you are encouraged to review, and to express a view, should you so desire; and,
  3. While not mandatory, for new users to Meta, we do encourage drafting RfCs over several weeks in order to solicit feedback from existing, established users on Meta, prior to being formalized moved to Requests for Comment. I won't be able to provide any feedback over the next week, but can possibly look at your draft RfC in the next couple of weeks, should you wish to go ahead with this.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to {{ping}} me by way of a reply. Thanks! :)

  • OK, I'll be using the community noticeboard for this. Onmp314 (talk) 15:27, 27 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    @Onmp314: Okay, that's also fine to start a new community discussion, but I would still encourage you to draft your community discussion in userspace as it is not urgent this be discussed immediately. I took a quick look at your draft RfC, and would note that we do already have Dev Wiki as a theme/CSS repository. I'm a bureaucrat on that wiki, and would be happy to grant you sysop rights on that wiki, if you'd like. The listoflistswiki wiki idea is already proposed for discussion here, so this likely doesn't need a separate discussion. Hope this helps. Dmehus (talk) 15:38, 27 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    @Dmehus: You can give me the role. Onmp314 (talk) 16:20, 27 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    Yes check.svg Done. If you require additional permissions, please let @Universal Omega: or I know. Note this wiki is still in its very early days and infancy, too, so we haven't yet formalized any policies or guidelines yet. Dmehus (talk) 16:28, 27 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
