    Welcome to Miraheze[edit source]

Hello, MarioMario456, and welcome to Miraheze! Miraheze is a free, non-for-profit wiki hosting service. If you would like to start a wiki please fill in this form or, if you'd like to contribute to an existing wiki, please see a few wikis here or the full list of wikis here. Note that (private) wikis aren't accessible unless you are given access, and closed wikis cannot be edited.

For more information, please see our FAQ. If you have any additional questions, concerns, or comments, please feel free to contact us.

You are encouraged to create your user page, whether here on Meta (visible only when on Meta), or your global user page that visible on any Miraheze wiki where a user does not have a local user page and provided that the wiki has the GlobalUserPage extension enabled and, additionally, where the wiki is not using the SocialProfile extension. Should you decide to create your global user page on Loginwiki and wish for it to replace your Meta user page, simply add the {{delete}} template to the top of your Meta user page by copying and pasting this code ({{Delete|1=Author requests deletion, or author blanked.}}), and an administrator should delete it promptly (usually within 24 hours).

If you have any questions, after first reviewing FAQ and the help center, please don't hesitate to ask at the community noticeboard, but please be sure to end all new topics or replies you make on talk pages, user talk pages (like this one), and noticeboards with four tildes (~~~~) to include both (a) a username and (b) a properly formatted timestamp for our talk page archiving bot.

    Thanks,

Reversion of inappropriate closure, though presumably good-faith, of a thread on SN[edit source]

    Hi MarioMario456,

Please note that I have reverted your presumably good-faith, though inappropriate, closure of a discussion on stewards' noticeboard in which you were involved as one of the two subject users of the user's complaint. Please do be sure and avoid this going forward.

While this note is not an endorsement of the degree to which the user's complaint was valid or invalid, I would just recommend you and DuchessTheSponge of the Code of Conduct, a global policy to which all Mirahezians are bound, and that blocking a user on wikis to which they've never contributed merely because of a dispute one has with a user may constitute harassment under the policy. I would additionally note that local bureaucrat and administrator DarkMatterMan4500 did not personally feel all of the local blocks were necessary and/or valid. Some of the local blocks may have been valid. As a strong, personal recommendation, I would recommend you limit your blocks of the user to wikis where the user has been persistently violating the local rules of the wiki or otherwise being disruptive.

    Thanks for your understanding! :)

    Cheers,
    Dmehus (talk) 16:52, 19 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

@Dmehus: This warning seems to have been ignored because I am still blocked on a bunch of wikis where I have not been, as you said, violating the wiki's local rules (see my CentralAuth: Special:CentralAuth/Blubabluba9990. Additionally, I do not think I have violated any of the local rules listed on the main pages of any of the wikis, thus my blocks, according to what you said, are indeed unfair. Blubabluba9990 (talk) 18:07, 21 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
While I do disagree with the necessity of the local blocks and think MarioMario456 and DuchessTheSponge should remove any blocks not on the television show- and website-related Qualitipedia wikis, as to the remaining blocks, I would suggest you edit constructively on the remaining wikis and avoid their user talk pages, discussing any potentially controversial editing changes on the companion talk pages, then request for an unblock on the remaining wikis in 30-60 days. Dmehus (talk) 18:13, 21 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Ok. I do not have any problems with MarioMario456 specifically though. But I guess I can avoid their talk pages unless absolutely necessary. So that means that I should be unblocked on every wiki except for the television wikis and website wikis, however this has not been done, thus I am unable to contribute to any of the Qualitipedia wikis. Also, my userpages on many of the wikis have been deleted, as well as all of the pages I created on Awful Movies Wiki for some reason, which is completely unnecessary, so I think that those should be restored. I guess you could unblock me from all of the wikis and restore all of my userpages that got deleted, and my pages that got deleted (they actually got deleted using the nuke extension, which was DEFINITELY not necessary). Blubabluba9990 (talk) 18:19, 21 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Specifically, my userpages on the TV Shows wikis, the Movies wikis, and Crappy Games Wiki were all deleted and also apparently creation protected for some reason. Blubabluba9990 (talk) 18:28, 21 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I also don't see the reason for the deletion of the user pages and would urge them to restore them, if that's your wish. Dmehus (talk) 18:34, 21 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yeah. However I do not know if MarioMario456 or DuchessTheSponge will listen, and I am absolutely sure that DuchessTheSponge will completely ignore my request, as he has ignored many of my messages in the past. Blubabluba9990 (talk) 18:38, 21 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Dmehus: Since MarioMario456 and DuchessTheSponge will most likely ignore my request, I feel like you should intervene.
Also, I did nothing wrong on Best Shows & Episodes Wiki, so I shouldn't be blocked there either. I also apologized for my actions on every wiki, so I do not think I should be blocked on any of the wikis. BookFandumb1 also said that my blocks were unfair, and you said that DarkMatterMan4500 also said some of my blocks were unfair, though he has never specified which ones he thinks are unfair and which ones he thinks are fair. Also, even though DarkMatterMan disagreed, I feel like Duchess should be demoted to stop him from using his power to target me. Like I said before, he betrayed our agreement about the Encyclopedia SpongeBobia page, and also has given me warnings for the following (an * means that the violation is not listed on the main page as against the wiki's rules):
    1. Reverting an admin's edit on Fresh Websites Wiki.*
    2. Wanting the Prehibernation Week page to be deleted on Terrible Shows & Episodes Wiki, and questioning the fact that community consensus is not allowed on the Qualitipedia wikis.*
    3. Using Godwin's Law on Rotten Websites Wiki (that was bad of me, but I have since apologized)*
    4. Censoring profanity on Rotten Websites Wiki, despite profanity being impolite. Not only is censoring profanity not against the rules on the main page, one of the rules on the main page actually says that profanity is not allowed in the articles unless it is part of a quote.*
And my block this time, like I told you, is because I added Prehibernation Week to the list of good SpongeBob episodes on Best Shows & Episodes Wiki, which again, I was unaware that Prehibernation Week is a controversial episode as I have seen mostly positive reception, and that is also not against the rules on the main page.
Duchess also has deleted many of my pages in the past for being “bad pages” even though the pages are just fine.
And this stems from even before I came to Miraheze: He insulted my FANDOM wiki and tried to vandalize it. It just seems to be against me though, since I have not seem him target anyone else. I am sorry for repeating myself but it seems like these conversations go nowhere.
Also, MarioMario456 isn't even the person who originally blocked me, it was Duchess who originally blocked me, MarioMario456 just re-blocked me for some reason. And even after MarioMario456 unblocked me on Delightful Music & Songs Wiki after your warning, Duchess re-blocked me. And he continues to block me on basically every wiki where he is an admin and I just so happen to have an account on, even if I haven't even contributed there.
And multiple times I have tried to get through to Duchess, but he keeps on ignoring me.
To summarize, sorry for repeating myself, but I have never violated the rules of any of the wikis, and the rules of every Qualitipedia wiki are listed on the main page of each wiki. So I think it is time for you to intervene.
I need you to help me get unblocked on all of the wikis, get all of my pages restored, and clear my name on Qualitipedia. Blubabluba9990 (talk) 18:34, 22 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I'm tired of you bothering me on my Meta talk page, so I'm going to say it: Your block as a drama causer was completely justified. You have done so many bad things and with 1000 apologies, I'm not willing to give you another chance as you'll mess up again. Sorry. MarioMario456 21:50, 22 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I haven't caused any drama recently though. I haven't done anything against the rules. I don't want to have to repeat myself so I recommend you read what I said above, since I pretty much explained everything. Blubabluba9990 (talk) 22:11, 22 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Also, if I had caused drama, then other users would have been involved. But you, me, and Duchess are the only people involved. The only reason I brought this up to Stewards is because peaceful resolution has clearly failed.
I do not want to cause any drama. But I am constantly being blamed for things I didn't do and being blocked for reasons that are not against the written local rules on each wiki. This has gone way too far. Blubabluba9990 (talk) 22:17, 22 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Due to our wiki's vague policies, I'll say it: Using Godwin's law qualifies as harrassment under our local rules and will result in a permanent block as you're comparing something to a racist dictator(ship) that killed 6 million Jews!!! Also, reverting an admin's edit without a valid reason counts as vandalism and could result in a warning or temporary block. Wanting Prehibernation Week deleted is not against our rules, but the episode should be on both wikis due to the controversial nature of the episode. We could build consensus to delete the episode from Terrible Shows & Episodes, so blame Duchess for that. And for the love of God, WILL YOU STOP BEATING A DEAD HORSE?!?! Just move on, or I'll blank my talk page. MarioMario456 22:30, 22 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I would stop, but I still feel like my block was unfair. The first two I apologized for, and since you said that the reason why I was permanently blocked was not against the rules, it shouldn't be a reason for a permanent ban. So I would request, like you said, establish community consensus, unblock me, and restore everything back to normal and pretend like this never happened, because believe me, I want this to be over just as much as you do. And the horse isn't dead yet. I do not want any drama, and I know you don't either. I did move on until I was blocked again because like I said, I was unaware that the episode was controversial. That last offense should not have counted as blowing my second chance if it was not against the rules. I am not trying to beat a dead horse. Blubabluba9990 (talk) 22:43, 22 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Dmehus also said above that he does not agree with cross-wiki blocks. So the only wikis that I have violated the written rules on are the websites wikis, and thus those are the only wikis I should be blocked on. Blubabluba9990 (talk) 22:45, 22 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
MarioMario456 In my opinion, that is quite a weak link you and DuchessTheSponge have tried to make. Moreover, I have seen similar comparisons occur on the Reception wikis/Qualitipedia and the results of which have gone ignored. In any case, Blubabluba9990 has apologized for it, it was accepted by DuchessTheSponge and, I think, by you also, so unless they make that comparison again, you should continue to bring that up or use that as justification for the local blocks. Additionally, local blocks should never be used as a form of punishment or pennance, which is, sadly, all too common on the Reception wikis. They should be used to prevent disruption and only for that reason, generally speaking, which is why I say that the local blocks should be limited to the television show wikis as that seems to be where the issue remains. Otherwise, it's more about punishment. Also, while this remains an active dispute on Meta Wiki, you cannot blank your user talk page. Dmehus (talk) 22:53, 22 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
The issue isn't really even on the television wikis. I don't think even a ban from the television show wikis is justified considering what MarioMario456 stated above, that what I did is not against the rules. And I haven't even done anything wrong on Terrible Shows & Episodes Wiki. Blubabluba9990 (talk) 22:58, 22 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
You might well be right. What I'm suggesting, though, is a more limited block, and for MarioMario456 and DuchessTheSponge to reconsider your blocks on the television show wikis after, say, 30-60 days provided you follow the guidelines set out for you on the remaining wikis. Dmehus (talk) 23:00, 22 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
So I should be unblocked on every wiki other than the television show wikis, and like Dmehus said, a discussion about those two wikis can be brought up in a few months time. Blubabluba9990 (talk) 23:01, 22 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
You can see every wiki that I am blocked on here: Special:CentralAuth/Blubabluba9990. On some of the wikis Duchess is the only active admin, and he may refuse to unblock me, so perhaps Dmehus should unblock me on the rest of the wikis (excluding the television shows wikis). Blubabluba9990 (talk) 23:03, 22 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
And my userpages on all of the wikis, even the television show wikis, should be restored, along with my page on Awful Movies Wiki (I created a page about a movie called "The Midnight Sky" but I tried searching for it and it must have been deleted during the mass deletion of pages created by me). Blubabluba9990 (talk) 23:07, 22 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

    My deleted userpages[edit source]

@MarioMario456: Can you restore my userpages on all of the wikis that you deleted them on. Blubabluba9990 (talk) 16:25, 23 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Please have some patience, Blubabluba9990. If MarioMario456 has not restored your deleted user pages within three calendar days, you can ask DarkMatterMan4500 to restore them, but cross-posting the same thing multiple times repeately is quite disruptive. Dmehus (talk) 16:27, 23 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
    Ok. Blubabluba9990 (talk) 18:35, 23 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I think creating a second account to avoid impersonation is a good idea. Iron Sword 23 (talk) 20:48, 2 July 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

    Auto patrol revoked[edit source]

    Hello,

Following discussion with a Steward on IRC, I have removed the 'autopatrolled' group from your account as we have shared concerns regarding whether your recent contributions are conducive with the desired environment on meta and our global conduct rules. Please take this opportunity to reflect before acting and refresh your memory of the rules we enforce.

Your recent contributions have shown battleground like behaviour, clear issues with privacy by requesting IPs of users and a refusal to drop the stick when told to.

Continued behaviour in violation of global or local policy may result in blocks being applied.

    Thanks, ~ RhinosF1 - (chat)· acc· c - (on) 21:35, 22 July 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I regret doing that, please give my autopatrolled back... MarioMario456 21:36, 22 July 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Your response just makes me confident that it was the right call to remove the right. Before I even think about restoring the right, You will need to demonstrate an understanding of policy and willingness to listen. ~ RhinosF1 - (chat)· acc· c - (on) 21:43, 22 July 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Thanks for the info, I'm planning to unblock Blubabluba and delete the blog, though I don't know if he retired or not. DuchessTheSponge (talk) 23:07, 22 July 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hi Mario, do you know what is going on with the Fresh Websites wiki? Freighttrain (talk) 07:57, 25 August 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

    Peace treaty[edit source]

As an end to this long conflict, I hereby declare a peace treaty, since this conflict has gone on way too long. Since this is a treaty, we both need to give up some things, but we will also get some things in return. I am also making this truce benefit the community as a whole in addition to benefiting the both of us. Here are the criteria: You will agree to:

    1. Unblock me from the wikis that you hold adminship on.
    2. Stop deleting blogs because you agree with them.
    3. Stop twisting the policy to make random actions seem against it.
    4. Revert the wiki logos back to FreezingTNT's design, since even though he is blocked, the rebrand was his idea, so you should not be just reverting everything.
    5. Restore my user pages that you have deleted.
    6. Stop deleting pages due to weak pointers.
    7. Delete my page on Encyclopedia Dramatica, or at least mark it for deletion. It is a harassment page on a harassment wiki, and not constructive criticism.
    8. Gather community consensus for future projects.
    9. Not bring up my past issues or any past issues concerning other users. It is just beating a dead horse. This includes asking for examples of past drama.
    10. Stop being rude to other users and instead be calm.
    11. Delete The Lego Ninjago Movie from Greatest Movies Wiki (it is poorly recieved)
    12. Stop blocking users cross-wiki, and stop blocking users for little to no reason. Also do not block users indefinitely on their first offense.

    In turn, I agree to:

    1. Stop putting my personal opinion into pages (I will see if the community agrees first)
    2. Retire from Encyclopedia SpongeBobia.
    3. Stop contacting you unless absolutely necessary, such as if I need something specifically from you.
    4. Not bring up my past issues or any past issues concerning other users.

To reiterate, this treaty will benefit the both of us as well as the community as a whole and will hopefully prevent any issue of this nature from happening again. Please read all of the points addressed in this treaty. In addition, I have plans for other things that may benefit the community. This not only addresses my complaints, but also complaints from other users on Qualitipedia and even Stewards. And to Stewards or any other admin here on Meta, do not revert this treaty, as it is important to ending the conflict between me and Mario. Trust and Safety warning[edit source]

    Hi MarioMario456,

I'm Doug, a Trust and Safety Responder appointed by the Miraheze Limited Board of Directors to respond to and action certain items to ensure Miraheze Limited's legal obligations, amongst other things, are met.

I noticed recently on one of the wikis on which you're part of a shared local administration team, that you identified a deleted and anonymized user's username by their random hash and directly connected them with their former username. I believe your intentions were made in good-faith, but it was nonetheless inappropriate and cannot continue. Furthermore, the Trust and Safety team is aware that you have been advised by at least two community-elected Stewards and possibly one Global Sysop to refrain from soliciting users whom you suspect of either (a) being underage or (b) using sockpuppets of previously blocked and/or locked users to divulge personally identifying information in order to "prove their innocence" (your words) or to prove they're not using a VPN. This is highly inappropriate and cannot continue.

Accordingly, I'm providing you this firm warning to cease this practice of soliciting for personally identifying information ("PII"), broadly construed, from other users they suspect of abusing any community-established policies (such as user accounts policy or being underage) immediately so as to avoid further action(s) being considered by either of Trust and Safety or other community-elected functionaries as part of their separate and/or shared enforcement responsibilities of various global policies, as applicable.

Finally, I should also advise you that this guidance is independent of any guidance or future action community-elected functionaries may or may not take, as appropriate.

Should you have further questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team at ts(at)miraheze.org. Thank you for your understanding and for your future compliance with this request/notice. :)

    Cheers,
    Doug (talk) 23:17, 6 September 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Since he does not appear to be active on Meta (I sent him a truce three days ago and he has not responded), I think you should contact him on the wiki in question. This is also not his only Code of Conduct related issue, as behavior issues by this user have been reported several times before on Stewards noticeboard, by me and other users. MarioMario456 has a history of displaying aggressive behavior. Even though I am not a steward, I figured I should address this anyway. Blubabluba9990 (talk) 19:41, 7 September 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
