Hello:[edit source]

Hi, just wanted to let you know about this comment you left on the Stewards' noticeboard. In regards to that, I have reverted that, as it seemed unnecessary for you to get involved in something that has since been resolved with me apologizing to SuperSoul on his talk page on the qualitipediawiki. If I'm going to be honest, Doug was right about one thing, that I almost drove the narrative of me "not handling criticism" whether or not it was true. The point that I am trying to make here is that I have since handled the apology to him on that said topic. (P.S. I know you meant well with the comment you posted on that said noticeboard.) April 2022[edit source]

Hi MarioBobFan,

While I can appreciate you may be feeling targeted by Qualitipedia users, and some of it is, rightly, justified, your continuing to create a new thread every time on stewards' noticeboard creates clutter. You must attempt local resolution first. If local administrators don't respond in a very short period of time or respond punitively against you, then, by all means, feel free to request assistance, but I would strongly encourage you to make your request on my user talk page, so I (and my talk page watchers) can help guide you if your report has merit.

Thanks,
Dmehus (talk) 23:50, 2 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Frankly MarioBobFan, I hardly ever see you attempting local remediation. Bringing it directly to here, as stated above, doesn't help in any local way, perhaps even makes things worse by not having the wikis accountable to themselves and only to external pressure. --Raidarr (talk) 13:09, 3 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Typing character by character at Stewards' noticeboard[edit source]

Hi MarioBobFan,

I noticed you appeared to be trying to add a reply, by adding one character per edit. This is problematic, and may be reasonably be construed as unnecessary flooding. I'm assuming good faith by assuming you were lagged on Meta Wiki, but that's an argument for simply shelving your reply until later. Please consider this advisement going forward. :)

Cheers,
Dmehus (talk) 22:36, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

OK, and I did it so I could increase my edits. MarioBobFan (talk) 22:41, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
MarioBobFan, Face-smile.svg Thank you for your remarkable candor and honesty. That suggests you have both good intentions, good faith, and the capacity to learn, which is so critically important. Please note, though, it is edit quality, not quantity, which matters. Please have a read through of this MediaWiki help page on how to properly format replies to talk pages and user talk pages. Given this, and your reply, I am going to Yes check.svg revoke your autopatrolled flag as it's clear your edits need, and would benefit from, additional patrolling by patrollers and administrators. It will likely be restored by an administrator, possibly me, when satisfied your edits no longer need patrolling. In terms of timeframes, it could take at least a couple weeks to a month, but it really depends on the contextual circumstances. Dmehus (talk) 22:47, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
OK and you're welcome. MarioBobFan (talk) 22:53, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yes check.svg No problem. This reply you just made is a great start to resolving at least one half of the outstanding issue and to restoring your autopatrolled. Please keep up the positive contributions. Dmehus (talk) 22:59, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 2 weeks as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks, legal threats; and repeated, blatant violations of our policies will not be tolerated.

Hi MarioBobFan,

I have Yes check.svg blocked for you two weeks on Meta Wiki for persistent disruptive editing, by continuing to edit letter by letter on noticeboards and talk pages to increase your edit count, despite being asked to curtail the practice and your pledging to do so. Given that, this probably should have been an indefinite block, as I really don't know, based on your edits here, that you'll actually cease this disruptive practice, but as with Reception123, I do dislike indefinite sitewide blocks on the first instance, so I'm willing to extend you a bit of courtesy and grace here.

As a reminder, as a blocked user, please remember your obligations with respect to user accounts policy here.

Thanks,

You have been temporarily blocked from editing as a result of your disruptive edits.

Unfortunately, immediately following your two-week sitewide block expiring, since you proceeded to create this thread and this thread, which are entirely local matters with active local administration, it's clear to me you do not understand the purpose and scope of stewards' noticeboard and are unable, at least currently, to post questions there or raise issues there without some sort of community mediation or moderation to your requests, I have had to partially block you from stewards' noticeboard, as you would clearly benefit from having some sort of community mediation or moderation to your requests. If you have a question, or need to if a request is in scope of stewards, please start a a new thread at your user talk page, adding the template {{help me}} or {{admin help}}, as applicable, and a volunteer will either (a) answer your question here or (b) move your question to stewards' noticeboard.

As a reminder, as a blocked user, please remember your obligations with respect to user accounts policy here.

Cheers,

Can I please be unblocked from editing the Stewards’ noticeboard?[edit source]

It is because of the fact that I do understand the purpose and scope of stewards noticeboard, and I could do edits and make actual noticeboards on that page. Another reason is because of the fact that I never want to be blocked from any editing any wiki page from any wiki (that includes Fandom pages and Wikipedia pages and pages from other wikis as well) in the slightest. {{help me}} {{admin help}} MarioBobFan (talk) 22:10, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

That statement does not really show an administrator that you know the scope of the Stewards’ noticeboard and the latter part of your appeal is also a rather weak reason to appeal a ban. Agent Isai Talk to me! 22:21, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The former is unconvincing coming so soon and the latter can be replied to simply with 'well, if you don't want a block, don't do the things you were previously blocked for and were explicitly warned would elicit a block again'. That said, this is a gallery comment as I am not strictly a meta administrator and I defer to their input. --Raidarr (talk) 11:23, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

ShawnTehLogoBoi blocked me from the Loathsome Characters Wiki.[edit source]

Today, ShawnTeiLogoBoi blocked me from the Loathsome Characters Wiki, and yet one of the users (Suppai) said he would not do it and I deserve a chance to be more constructive as my recent edits have shown. I have had a lot of constructive edits lately, and I would loved to be unblocked. I am mad at him now, and thanks ShawnTeiLogoBoi! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡MarioBobFan (talk) 23:07, 10 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@MarioBobFan: That block he gave you was pretty much unnecessary, so I unblocked you, seeing as you haven't really been too much of an issue within the past couple of months. DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) (contribs) 23:21, 10 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

OK. MarioBobFan (talk) 23:27, 10 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Could someone please restore this blog post?[edit source]

https://loathsomecharacters.miraheze.org/w/index.php?title=Blog:Should_we_add_these_Fairly_OddParents_characters_to_the_Character_wikis%3F&action=edit&redlink=1 . It is because of the fact that I loved the blog, and could add characters to it. Today, ShawnTeiLogoBoi deleted it said "No.", yet there are still a handful of blogs about characters that should be added to the character wikis. It's extremely mean spirited and sad that he deleted it, even to the point where he made me mad and cry. This is why it needs and should be restored. MarioBobFan (talk) 21:39, 22 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I would consider this a X mark.svg not done process, considering that this isn't the first I've seen this happen. This should be resolved locally anyway. DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) (contribs) 21:42, 22 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
MarioBobFan, administrators seem to be somewhat locally active, so I'm not certain why you've requested this be undeleted here, considering you're not blocked on that wiki. That being said, I'm not sure why ShawnTehLogoBoi deleted that blog post, then redeleted it. In such cases, I would suggest asking another administrator, as outlined here, to either (a) restore the blog post or (b) clarify under which local policy, guideline, or convention it was deleted. Where there response as unsatisfactory, assuming they're still part of the Qualitipedia network of wikis, my preference would be to ask an administrator there before asking here. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 21:56, 22 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
They are not formally attached to the network, and so any administrator there acts of their own accord along with the (very limited) local ruleset. That said, if there is no contest I may very well bring the wikis into the QP lineup unilaterally given the number of times it's been treated as a 'member wiki' from all levels and the number of situations it being connected would have helped. --Raidarr (talk) 22:28, 22 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'd agree with that. I believe they may have been shunted off the Qualitipedia network in a previous discussion, but the lack of both active + experienced, competent, and active administrators on the character wikis makes it problematic for them to "go it alone," so to speak. So it may also be worth a local discussion on the character wikis on there is interest in having the character wikis continued at all. Dmehus (talk) 22:42, 22 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I also want this restored too. https://loathsomecharacters.miraheze.org/w/index.php?title=Blog:What%27s_your_opinion_on_Season_6_of_The_Loud_House%3F&action=edit&redlink=1 MarioBobFan (talk) 23:27, 22 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

MarioBobFan, can you please request this here, and if you do not receive a response within a few days, or the response provided does not provide a local policy- or generally accepted-based reason for deletion, then {{ping}} Raidarr or I here to look into it? Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 23:38, 22 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
My blogs have been restored. MarioBobFan (talk) 03:14, 23 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Can I please be unblocked early from the Best TV Shows & Episodes Wiki, Terrible TV Shows Wiki, Greatest Movies Wiki, Awful Movies Wiki, and Crappy Games Wiki?[edit source]

Why? It is because of the fact while I did want to wait for my blocks to expire there, I really want to be unblocked early. Not saying my block should be changed to indefinite, as I have been waiting way long to edit there again. The reason of why I requested to get unblocked on a majority of the wikis six months ago is because I never want to be blocked from any existing wiki in the slightest, as well as non reception wikis. That's what I want, and not trying to cause drama. MarioBobFan (talk) 03:17, 23 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

While I do want to wait, I feel like I don't want to wait anymore for some reason, despite the fact that I do want to wait. MarioBobFan (talk) 03:21, 23 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
