Hello there,

My name is Aly and I would like to know if you would have any interest to have your website here at miraheze.org promoted as a resource on our blog alychidesign.com ?

We are in the midst of updating our broken link resources to include current and up to date resources for our readers. Our resource links are manually approved allowing us to mark a link as a do-follow link as well . If you may be interested please in being included as a resource on our blog, please let me know.

Thanks, Aly

@138.99.93.227: I dont know anything about the website. i am not interested LegoMasterSend me a message! 09:43, 20 February 2019 (UTC)
Correct answer! I went to this site and it seems to be a spam site, with nothing particular to offer, nor mastery of English, groping for other websites with which to direct traffic to it! Spıke (talk)03:59 4-Mar-2019
what the hell but your reply is good LegoMaster (talk - contribs - logs - uploads - global contribs) 06:25, 4 March 2019 (UTC)

Wiki created[edit source]

Hello, I would like to tell you that I have created your wiki. You can now access it at meteorologypedia.miraheze.org. You should have been automatically granted administrator and bureaucrat rights, if that's not the case then please leave a notice on Stewards' noticeboard so we can fix it immediately. Do not hesitate to ask questions if your question was not answered in our FAQ. Also, if you want an extension, gadget, or anything else, please ask us here. Thank you for choosing Miraheze, and we wish you good luck with your wiki! Zppix (Meta | CVT Member | talk to me) 14:21, 25 February 2019 (UTC)

Gazetteer of wikis[edit source]

Hello! This post might put at risk the barnstar you gave me, but I disapprove of your recent additions to the Gazetteer. The function of that article is to guide new users to the wikis that exist at Miraheze, and perhaps help them decide whether they want to ask for their own wiki or work on someone else's.

You added a subsection to a series of subsections describing types of wiki. Your section does not set off a new type. It describes a club you created, it references yourself by name, and it even sets out the details of a dispute between you and Wikipedia. It lists a series of wikis without any indication why they would be of interest to anyone else, and it even includes a private wiki, meaning the typical reader would be prevented from doing anything with the information he has read.

If many other users used the Gazetteer to set out a structure for future work as you have, the page would quickly become unusable to the target reader.

I suggest a single entry, under the section on Uncyclopedias, that would lead the interested reader to a Home Page where he can find out details of your "Foundation" and decide if that is right for him. Spıke (talk)23:01 5-Apr-2019

@Spike: I don't know what you are doing with the gazetteer of wikis, also do you mean that I should remove the wikis from the gazetteer of wikis? Also, the private wiki is very important, as it has the staff stuff of the foundation like the miraheze staff wiki LegoMaster (talk - contribs - logs - uploads - global contribs) 01:44, 6 April 2019 (UTC)
Important to you, not important to most readers. Again, create one landing page where the new Miraheze user can read about your Foundation and decide if he is interested, and point to that page in the Gazetteer. Don't tell the entire story in the Gazetteer. Such a landing page should explain the benefit to the reader, not the benefit to you. Hope this helps. Spıke (talk)01:59 6-Apr-2019
@Spike: Please manually make the edit for me please LegoMaster (talk - contribs - logs - uploads - global contribs) 03:44, 7 April 2019 (UTC)
It would be a rather large deletion! What is the URL you would have the reader visit to learn more about this Foundation? Spıke (talk)00:51 8-Apr-2019

Now, is there any content in the three new wikis you have listed there, or are you just cluttering up the Gazetteer in hopes of driving traffic to your sites? Again, if everyond did this, the page would become unusable. Spıke (talk)11:06 9-Apr-2019
