You are encouraged to create your user page, whether here on Meta (visible only when on Meta), or your global user page that visible on any Miraheze wiki where a user does not have a local user page and provided that the wiki has the GlobalUserPage extension enabled and, additionally, where the wiki is not using the SocialProfile extension. Should you decide to create your global user page on Loginwiki and wish for it to replace your Meta user page, simply add the {{delete}} template to the top of your Meta user page by copying and pasting this code ({{Delete|1=Author requests deletion, or author blanked.}}), and an administrator should delete it promptly (usually within 24 hours).

If you have any questions, after first reviewing FAQ and the help center, please don't hesitate to ask at the community noticeboard, but please be sure to end all new topics or replies you make on talk pages, user talk pages (like this one), and noticeboards with four tildes (~~~~) to include both (a) a username and (b) a properly formatted timestamp for our talk page archiving bot.

Creating mildly polemic user pages

Hi JrStudios,

Please note that your creation of your user page was deemed by a Meta administrator to be mildly polemic and, thus, has been deleted. Additionally, this is not the best way to begin your Miraheze experience. Please ensure you avoid this in the future, review Code of Conduct, and also ensure you're read user accounts policy as well.

I already was a user on the reception wikis so I thought to myself, why not go universal? So I created my user page. I copy pasted from another wiki. jrStudios (talk) 16:20, 3 February 2021 (UTC)

JrStudios Okay, that's fine. It's probably a weak Code of Conduct issue anyway, but the Code of Conduct does apply to all wikis. Regardless, though, conventions and customs on Meta are a bit stricter than the Reception wikis, so it's probably best, if you want to have local user pages, to have a cleaned up user page on Meta. As I say to Reception123 privately on Discord, Meta is where Reception wiki users have to get cleaned up and put on their Sunday church clothes. Hope that helps. DuchesstheSponge closed it. Are you planning on reopening it or are you no longer interested in it? Because I'm not either personally, but if you still want to contribute to it, you should reopen it. FatBurn0000 (sandbox | CentralAuth) 08:31, 16 September 2022 (UTC)
