Partially blocked[edit source]

Hi IvanTheGreat,

I have partially blocked you from stewards' noticeboard for your refusal to drop the stick by filing multiple short threads on that noticeboard and stirring up drama when you've been asked by another administrator and myself to stop. That blog post may well need to be removed, but stewards' noticeboard isn't the place to do it, least of all with very short reports for individual pages. This amounts to needless clutter and reports for busy stewards to review. If you wish to allege Code of Conduct violations by that wiki's administrators, or Content Policy violations on the wiki, I would suggest you e-mail stewards(at)miraheze.org with a thorough report that cites the global policies being violated and links to multiple revisions on that wiki that clearly show the policy violations. Unlike the Wikimedia wikis, we do welcome reports from users via e-mail and, indeed, for users that have been previously locally blocked on Meta or globally locked, per user accounts policy, this is the only way reports may be submitted.

Thanks,

I quit Miraheze, Goodbye IvanTheGreat (talk) 15:24, 6 November 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@IvanTheGreat: Okay, that's fine. We're sorry to see you go. Should you wish to return and have a clean start, I strongly recommend you contribute constructively to other non-Reception wiki Miraheze customer wikis, as that way you will (a) avoid the drama of the Reception wikis and (b) avoid contravening user accounts policy, a global policy, by inadvertently visiting a wiki on which you may have been blocked on under previous account(s) you may or may not have had. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 15:35, 6 November 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
By the way, I sent a email. IvanTheGreat (talk) 15:36, 6 November 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@IvanTheGreat: To whom? Me or to stewards? If the latter, that is remarkably quick to have been a necessarily thorough and exhaustive report about one or more Reception wikis and their users. We do want to help you, but sending us a couple sentences in an e-mail message isn't likely to advance your case in any meaningful way. Moreover, it's likely to end up in the round file, if it's only that. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 15:42, 6 November 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Then I quit Miraheze if you won't remove the reception wikis. Because you just lost a editor for the wiki. Good luck finding someone else... IvanTheGreat (talk) 15:46, 6 November 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@IvanTheGreat: Please note, while the block duration remains the same, I've had to increase your partial block from stewards' noticeboard to sitewide in order to enforce your likely alternate user account (Rolling1975) sitewide block, based on compelling DUCK-like evidence, including diff #1 and diff #2. I also point you to user accounts policy, a global policy, to which you're expected to adhere. If I've made an error, which is unlikely, you may confirm this account by making an edit on an established non-Miraheze wiki stating this is your Miraheze account. To be credible, this account should be in existence for at least several months, ideally be the same username, and be in good standing (i.e., not blocked). Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 15:38, 9 November 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Remove the Reception Wikis then... IvanTheGreat (talk) 19:57, 4 December 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Partially blocked from User:DarkMatterMan4500 and User talk:DarkMatterMan4500[edit source]

Hi IvanTheGreat,

I have partially blocked you for one month for disruptive blanking of User:DarkMatterMan4500 and unexplained replying/disruption at User talk:DarkMatterMan4500. Please stop this disruption. Reception wikis can be problematic, but demanding they be shut down without an exhaustive report with evidence is disruptive.

Thanks,
Dmehus (talk) 20:03, 4 December 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hi Dmehus,
Thanks, IvanTheGreat (talk) 20:03, 4 December 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Besides the Reception Wikis are destroying the site's reputation. And now it made me toxic... IvanTheGreat (talk) 20:06, 4 December 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
So now you must delete the wikis IvanTheGreat (talk) 20:08, 4 December 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
We do not HAVE to do anything, if you continue being uncivil, and/or disruptive, I will issue a sitewide block. Thanks! Zppix (Meta | Sysadmin | talk to me) 13:09, 7 December 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Counter productive edit warring[edit source]

Hi IvanTheGreat,

As a result of your counter productive edit warring here and here in your repeatedly removing content removed by administrators after being asked not to, I have protected your user talk page at Meta sysop for one month as an alternative to a sitewide block. Believe me, that was contemplated, but I'm willing to accept that you have potential to contribute here in a constructive manner and listen to and heed instructions given.

Thanks,
Dmehus (talk) 14:07, 7 December 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Partial block expanded to User talk namespace[edit source]

Hi IvanTheGreat,

I'm writing to advise you that your continued trolling and vandalism at User talk:Seanbuscus2600 is not helpful. In addition, your replying to you obvious alternate account Zangoose in a stewards' noticeboard is not helpful, either. As a result, you have now been partially blocked from User talk namespace, and are again reminded to ensure you comply with user accounts policy. This includes all alternate accounts, so your alternate accounts cannot edit in this namespace for the duration of the sanction. If they do, that will be a material breach of the policy, and further actions will be taken.

Thanks,
Dmehus (talk) 19:52, 14 December 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

If you wish, you can self-request a block, by Zangoose, to match IvanTheGreat's current partial block settings, to prevent ban evasion. Dmehus (talk) 19:54, 14 December 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
He's trying to help you guys, so the reception wikis won't end up ruining this website's reputation... Lee Everett (talk) 21:28, 8 January 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
