July 2021: RfCs and repetitive questions[edit source]
Hi. Please note that creating RfCs to simply ask users for advice or ask questions is not appropriate and out of scope for Requests for Comments. RfCs are to be used for issues of general concern to Miraheze (policies, discussions, etc.) or Meta. Simply asking questions about your own wikis is not something that needs an RfC. If you continue making such out of scope RfCs you may be partially blocked on Meta in the future. In addition, I have already surely said this but I would like to remind you that it's also not appropriate to insist that users answer your questions and repeat the same sort of questions over and over again when you don't receive a response. I understand that it may be frustrating for you to not have anyone to answer your questions about your wikis but that doesn't mean that asking them over and over again on Meta (and certainly not via RfCs) is appropriate. P.S. please do not delete threads from your talkpage without archiving them. Also, don't delete this thread immediately/archive it, it should stay here so that other administrators are aware of it. Regarding RfCs[edit source]
Hello Iron Sword 23, I write to you about your recent RfC. I have nominated it for deletion because it is once again out of scope for RfCs. Please refrain from making RfCs that have no real impact for Miraheze and are more of personal issues. Please heed by Reception123's warning and stop making RfCs that are out of scope and instead, put a notice on the appropriate noticeboard or ask for help on Discord or IRC. Thank you. Pokemon Miraheze[edit source]
Yo I saw you wanted to adopt pokemon.miraheze.org to add info to it. I'll tell you what -- I'm hoping to adopt nintendo.miraheze.org (I filed a request a few days ago) and you can add the info there once I open up the place. I can even make you an admin too :) RMV2003 (talk) 17:35, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
