interwikitable is an actively debated topic whereas the second external wiki link in a row, posted by regulars, relies on the URL syntax instead. For the second part, it may be true that regulars on meta post links that way, but I should tell you that the requests for interwiki links on local wikis are increasing (partly because some of the uncyclopedias have migrated from wikia), and that many users want these needs to be handled in a more effective manner.--開拓者 (The Pioneer) (talk/contribs | global🌎) 00:57, 24 July 2018 (UTC)
