Hi, and thanks for contributing to this wiki. I know English isn't your first language, so before publishing an edit to the main article pages, I'd suggest asking someone else if they understand what you're trying to add and if it's okay to add the content. This is not a requirement of course, but it's a good idea if you're unsure or if your new content is short. Thank you and have fun editing! thanks. But my first language is Chinese. Gongxiang01 (talk) 10:53, 15 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Quick deletion of Meta:Policy/zh-hans

The page you wrote, Meta:Policy/zh-hans, has been selected for quick deletion. If you think this page should be kept, please add {{wait}} below the line {{QD}} and say why on the talk page. If the page is already gone, but you think this was an error, you can ask for it to be undeleted. You can find more information about the reason here. Please do not use Wikipedia link!
You can copy contents or use visitable from China link.
What is quick deletion?
Thanks. Gongxiang01 (talk) 13:16, 17 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
AmberWing1352 (talk) 05:08, 18 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Creating new pages

Hi Gongxiang01. Thank you so much for your interest in improving Miraheze projects, like meta. We appreciate your contributions, but some of them, while in good faith, are not constructive. Creations of pages like Meta:Policy and other pages (now deleted) in the Meta namespace are unneeded and should be discussed first. Thank you. thanks. Gongxiang01 (talk) 14:28, 16 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Your recent contributions

Hi, while your recent contributions to Meta have likely been in good faith, they demonstrate a lack of understanding of how Meta Miraheze works and the expectations that we have. Since you are a new user, it's strongly advisable that you observe how things are done here first. For example, the request you filed for wiki creator isn't appropriate since you've barely started editing here. Another example is the page (Meta:Policy) which shouldn't have been created. Reception123 (talk) (C) 15:51, 17 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

where to see? Gongxiang01 (talk) 02:38, 18 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Steward requests and Meta:Administrators' noticeboard are good places to start. Requests for Comment, Meta:Requests for permissions are also good. Mostly, it's just reading policies (see Content Policy, Global Conduct Policy and adapting to fit them. The Miraheze Discord is also a great place. DID YOU KNOW China can't visit to Discord?? Gongxiang01 (talk) 02:43, 18 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Then visit the rest of the links. BrandonWM (talkcontributionsglobalrights) 02:47, 18 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Regarding block on new wiki requests

While we thank you for your clear passion for starting a wiki project with Miraheze, several of your requests continue to show problems with identifying a clear topic (what the wiki will document), scope (what's valid for inclusion in the wiki) and contents (the types of pages that will be created to document the topic). Miraheze is a host with limited resources, and cannot host encyclopedias of everything like Wikipedia.

Additionally, please keep in mind that those reviewing requests are volunteers that freely give their time to the project. Hostile language towards them is not tolerated, and is the primary driver of this one-month ban on filing requests. Please consider these things deeply before resuming wiki requests after the expiry of your ban in one month. -- NotAracham (talkcontribsglobal) 03:15, 18 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

(Talk) 03:26, 18 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Gongxiang01 (talk) 16:00, 22 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
(Talk) 16:41, 22 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Gongxiang01 (talk) 14:01, 24 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Gongxiang01 (talk) 14:01, 24 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
(Talk) 15:26, 24 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Gongxiang01 (talk) 17:49, 1 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
(Talk) 23:38, 1 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

About the block

An administrator reviewed Gongxiang01's unblock request and has declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked!

Gongxiang01 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribs change block settingsunblockfilter log)

Request reason:

First, Not any rules say that will make block.
In the secondary, it not a reason to give a complete-site block. It only need give a defined page or namespaces block.
In the third, that's needn't block on the common sense().

Denial reason:

I'm not an administrator but I'm closing this as moot because the user is already unblocked and this page shouldn't be showing up in the users requesting unblock category. An administrator reviewing this is unnecessarily bureaucratic because there would be the same result regardless of it being accepted or declined. コレイ (talk) (contributions) 01:51, 3 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired.

For the block, no any rules ruled this will blocked. And the not approved wikis, Why other's wrong let I punish?

For reopen the wikis, in reopen wiki time, it now say any about "Do not reopen now".

So, that block is a wrong.

For the Important, no any rules said it will blocked.

Hi, please note that the Requests for Comment Policy doesn't allow "malformed" RfCs, which include RfCs that are made in complaint of a very specific issue such as your block. I understand that you might be unhappy about your block but creating an RfC for an individual issue isn't appropriate. I should also add that the reality is that there isn't a comprehensive policy/rule for every single thing on Meta and that common sense must be used and by observing what other users do, one should be able to see how things work to an extent and understand things that they're not supposed to do. In doubt, you should feel free to ask before making a change to a page. Unfortunately, if you continue making contributions that aren't deemed helpful and do not conform with how Meta operates, another block may have to be issued. Please take your time to observe what others are doing and ask when in doubt rather than make problematic edits. If you need to, please feel free to use a machine translator to translate this note. I will be change my RfC. Gongxiang01 (talk) 15:58, 1 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hi - I’m going to attempt to build on what Reception has said, though I don’t know if I’ll be successful. As Reception said, please feel free to use Google Translate or DeepL to translate if required. Here are a few tips I have for you. Firstly, do not create any RfCs or RfPs without input from a trusted user first: a patroller or Meta sysop are great examples of this. You seem to have a desire to contribute productively here, but the language barrier is quite strong. I would recommend reading up on both improving your English and visiting this link on the Chinese Wikipedia in order to help you develop your skills a bit more. I would additionally recommend a break from wiki activity on Meta - you’ve been quite disruptive in your edits and while they aren’t intentional, it does represent a problem for Meta overall. Additionally, with regards to your queries about block policy, it’s as stated above - blocks are at sysop discretion and in your RfC, you stated the two reasons a user could be blocked was firstly, spam, or secondly, a user doing something wrong. I do not believe that you are the first, but you are the second, and in order to avoid a future block, I strongly suggest you follow what I’m saying. My talk page is always open to questions and assistance, if you wish my help. BrandonWM (talkcontributionsglobalrights) 16:08, 1 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Is administrator can block any reason?

Administrators do not make unjust blocks. In the rare event that they do, the other 7 admins step in and unblock. We all keep each other in check, no one has complete unlimited authority. If you do gain the ability to visit other sites, I’d absolutely recommend that page as well as Discord, if it is unblocked for you. Users are much more able to deliver assistance and you would quickly learn a lot. Additionally, when you want to request an RfC, I’d advise checking with myself or another admin first. If that passes, you’re more than free to go to the community portal or file a draft RfC, but please check with an admin first. BrandonWM (talkcontributionsglobalrights) 16:28, 1 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Final Warning Regarding Edits On Meta

Hi Gongxiang01,

This message is regarding your recent edits on Community Directors/Elections/2024/Nominations, particularly this one. As Agent Isai attempted to point out, first and foremost, the page itself is not a vote. Secondly, and more importantly however, is your refusal to drop the stick. I am aware you’re not able to visit Wikipedia links, so I’ll summarize: if a debate is done, don’t bring it back. Your block was issued multiple weeks ago and has since been confirmed by countless users to be legitimate, including multiple stewards. However, there is a persistence to keep going with the issue. Please stop, and wait out the ban as it is currently in place. This will serve as your final warning, as there have been multiple reports regarding your activity here on Meta and you have been blocked previously. Persistence is a good quality to have, but when focused correctly. Please focus your edits, time, and activity on other topics, if you persist, you may be blocked. This was not a fun message to type because we understand you want to help, but unfortunately the edits you make are quite disruptive and you have to learn how to be a good citizen. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Feel free to use a machine translator such as Google Translate or DeepL to translate this message. BrandonWM (talkcontributionsglobalrights) 18:04, 6 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing Miraheze Meta indefinitely as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to post an unblock request at your talk page, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks, legal threats; and repeated, blatant violations of our policies will not be tolerated and abuse of unblock requests will result in TPA revocation.

Hi Gongxiang01 - I've reinstated your talk page access on your block but have protected the page until your date of appeal, on October 7, 2024. On that date, you'll be able to appeal your block here or by emailing cvt[at], which is 6 months from the original block. Abuse of talk page access will result in revocation, as stated above.
