Do say hi.

Your wiki request[edit source]

Hello, unfortunately I have declined your request because the description you provided is invalid or not detailed enough. Please update your request to provide a valid/detailed description, or provide it here. 開拓者 (The Pioneer) (talk/contribs | global🌎) 06:05, 21 January 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

@開拓者: I am looking for Miraheze to host a Kerenewek language wiki called Kemeneth Kernow, for, as was stated in the form, the literature and writing category. Dysklyver (talk) 09:34, 21 January 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Uh, OK, I will create a wiki for you, but please note that you should write the purpose of your wiki on the comment part, because that's where we actually check to make judgements (Categories will appear on a different page, which is for creating wikis for approved requests).--開拓者 (The Pioneer) (talk/contribs | global🌎) 09:41, 21 January 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]
No worries, I put that in the comment area. Dysklyver (talk) 09:46, 21 January 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Wiki created[edit source]

Hello, I would like to tell you that I have created your wiki. You can now access it at https://kemeneth.miraheze.org until your custom domain is set up. You should automatically have been granted administrator and bureaucrat rights, if that's not the case then please leave a notice on Stewards' noticeboard so we can fix it immediately. Do not hesitate to ask questions if your question was not answered in our FAQ. Also, if you want a extension, gadget, or anything else, please ask us here. Thank you for choosing Miraheze, and we wish you good luck with your wiki!

Please see the custom domains page for instructions regarding the setup of your custom domain. 開拓者 (The Pioneer) (talk/contribs | global🌎) 09:42, 21 January 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

regarding Uncycs[edit source]

Hi, I'd like to keep your request in review because uncyclopedia.co and Miraheze (or I myself) is still under negotiation regarding these dead Fandom Uncycs. After the decision is made, I may or may not create those wikis. No uncyclopedians want another split, at least.--開拓者 (The Pioneer) (talk/contribs | global🌎) 02:38, 1 March 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

@開拓者: I have only picked Uncycs with no extant users, which is to say that anyone can fork them without needing to worry about the non-existent community. They won't be making any decisions so there is a need to archive them as early as possible. Dysklyver (talk) 09:52, 1 March 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]
For that purpose, Miraheze may not be the best host because we have our Dormancy Policy. Although it might be possible to exempt them all as sisters of Uncyclopedias, our staffs are not clear on this topic yet. Some of the users of uncyclopedia.co is planning to make their own version, and Carlb also seems to be willing to import them all to his forks (which was created years ago). Maybe we can have a deal regarding this topic on UnMeta discord.--開拓者 (The Pioneer) (talk/contribs | global🌎) 10:08, 1 March 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@開拓者: I spoke to the .co people and they don't mind. I saw the discussion around the dormancy policy, however these wikis will not be dormant for the foreseeable future, so I don't consider that an issue. Time is still a relevant concern here with less than a month to make copies before the Wikia deadline. Dysklyver (talk) 01:03, 2 March 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]
The copies have been made and are downloadable at https://download.uncyc.org/wikia - any language projects which are inactive have already been moved to uncyclopedia.info (so language xx: is xx.uncyclopedia.info). If there is an active community, discussion is taking place in that community to determine where the community will be moving. There'd be no reason for me to point interwiki links here for languages which have no active community here, if the same data exists elsewhere. Carlb (talk) 15:42, 13 March 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@開拓者: I really need a yes/no decision on this. Nobody else has expressed an interest in hosting them in the forum discussion. If it's left any longer I won't have time to move them. Dysklyver (talk) 11:55, 8 March 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Sorry for the delay. I've been off line for a couple of days due to my business in real life. Will check my discord and other channels before I make my final decision.--開拓者 (The Pioneer) (talk/contribs | global🌎) 13:18, 12 March 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@開拓者: Surely you have made up your mind by now? Dysklyver (talk) 16:19, 24 March 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── As it looks like Carlb already has his backups, I don't think we need to create a wiki here. Or do you still think it otherwise?--開拓者 (The Pioneer) (talk/contribs | global🌎) 06:36, 27 March 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Since I found out that you have been banned from most of the Uncyc Discord servers and have been banned on both English communities (.co and wikia), I come to think that these reqs you made weren't necessarily done with a good faith. Besides, based on our Dormancy Policy, Miraheze is probably NOT the best place for "archiving" a wiki. Thus, I will decline your requests for forking some dead Fandom Uncyclopedias. If you have anything to say about it, feel free to leave a note here. Thanks.--開拓者 (The Pioneer) (talk/contribs | global🌎) 07:13, 28 March 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]
It was done in good faith, I just don't think they appreciated the role I played in getting Wikia to shut them down. ta Dysklyver (talk) 09:24, 28 March 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

What's up, One-eyed Pirate Cat?[edit source]

It's so nice to meet you, Arthur! I mean, it's better talking here than RationalWiki, didn't expect you're everywhere. So anyways, how goes RationalWiki? Mar9122 (talk)

RW is awesome of course. Dysklyver (talk) 09:27, 28 March 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]
