I have enabled the extension PDF Handler last sunday and I think it is not working. My test file at wiki page mh:wpe:Global Voting Platform#Project Brief is not showing as an image view but just as a link. An example of how it should look a pdf file like image view is here: https://sandbox.semantic-mediawiki.org/wiki/Show_PDF_files_like_image_files Can somebody please give me a hint? --Driolar (talk) 13:10, 17 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Driolar: I've compared your syntax to that of this page on TestWiki, where Extension:PdfHandler ostensibly does work, following, I believe, some upstream fixes being deployed. I've also compared your settings in ManageWiki to TestWiki, and everything seems fine. So, I'm not quite sure what the issue is, and will {{ping}} @Reception123: to this thread to assist you further, in case there's a maintenance script that may need to be run or something. @Dmehus: Please do note that the extension on TestWiki that you mention is is Pdf Embed, not Pdf Handler. @Driolar: If Pdf Handler doesn't work (which does seem to be the case, unfortunately) it would probably be best to report that on Phabricator. @Reception123: Oh, okay, I didn't double-check to see which extension TestWiki was using, though I had thought it was PdfHandler. Nevertheless, would you be able to create the Phabricator task for @Driolar:, linking to this request? I'd do it myself, but do have a particularly pressing matter I need to attend to. Thanks~ Dmehus (talk) 16:55, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I was able to create the task myself. Driolar (talk) 16:53, 19 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

In Special:Contact, there is no body field, only subject. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Driolar (talkcontribs) 15:58, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Diolar: Looking at Extension:ContactPage, it looks like these fields are configured through HTMLForm, which seems to be part of MediaWiki core as it is a special HTML class for handling such forms. I haven't worked forms in MediaWiki, but hopefully that page will be instructive. If you need additional assistance, as we have more subject matter experts available on Discord and at community noticeboard, it may be better to use those venues for highly technical, specialized questions. {{Help me}} is mainly designed for general and more basic questions, as well as for cases where users are new to Meta. Hope this helps. Dmehus (talk) 16:26, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have posted the issue on Phabricator, Task T6464. --Driolar (talk) 19:04, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have enabled the extension ContactPage and I think it is not working. In https://wpe.miraheze.org/wiki/Special:Contact I get the message "A contact form is either not configured for this page or is configured incorrectly.". Also I wonder how to configure the contact page, at least the recipient. The README for ContactPage tells to configure $wgContactConfig, but I think I am not allowed to change such variables. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Driolar (talkcontribs) 15:34, 18 November 2020‎ (UTC)[reply]

Hi, you will need to set "Contact Page Recipient User" on ManageWiki here on your wiki (the setting is located on Notifications tab). :) HeartsDo (Talk || Global || Wiki Creator) 15:47, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! Now the form appears, but there is no field for body content available! Only fields for name, email address and subject. Driolar (talk) 15:58, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
