Requests for permissions[edit source]

Since you wanted NDKilla's rights to be removed, you can file a relevant notice at Meta:Requests for permissions. --Fungster (contribs - email - CA) 03:06, 4 July 2019 (UTC) I only wanted the rights removed because of the inactivity policy. I will not make a separate request. --DeeM28 (talk) 07:33, 14 July 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

CVT IRC channel logs[edit source]

Hi DeeM28,

While patrolling the #miraheze-feed-meta IRC feed, I noticed your comment in which you said you were not able to access the CVT IRC channel logs, which made me wonder, had we inadvertently forgotten to log the channel when we migrated from Freenode to Libera.Chat last May? I double-checked and, no, we hadn't, thankfully. I think you may have just been trying to access the old Freenode IRC channel logs? In any case, the logs for the #miraheze-cvt IRC channel can be located here (archived by month, with the oldest logs at the top and newest logs at the bottom). Arcversin's IRC nick is chrs. Additionally, there is the public CVT action log, though, admittedly, only current Global Sysops and Stewards are able to log their actions there.

I trust this will provide you with the information that you were seeking, and hope that you're doing well. :)

Cheers,

Request for removal of permissions[edit source]

Hello DeeM28,

Please note that the request for removal of access section on the stewards noticeboard is only to be used for requesting the technical implementation of permissions that have already been decided (i.e. via local elections) or non-controversial things such as inactivity removals or resignation of your own permissions. It is not the place to start a discussion about another user, and even if it was, it's customary to leave a note to the user who you are talking about, which you didn't do. I was not even aware this was going on until another user did.

As for the request itself, sorry to hear you feel that way about me. But I'm curious as to why you added a bunch of disclaimer that it doesn't address anyone else's actions, without getting to the part that does. I believe we went over this before: I do my best to be a cool person but that's especially difficult with constant VCP violations and people seemingly just looking for issues to take up. That's why I was waiting on resolution of the previous case involving pile-on attacks and off-wiki abuse before doing anything else, and why I hadn't edited in over two weeks save for a few things such as time-sensitive requests and vandalism.

You may wish to do something else with all of this stuff that you have compiled (and that I disproved a lot of the statements about me) and direct those resources towards something more positive instead. You don't really seem to have been part of the issues leading up to it, so I respect your opinion on the issue. You're not directly looking for problems about me, are you, nor do you intentionally make up things about me? (There were a few things about me that were wrong, but I am willing to believe it was not intentionally deceitful).

Perhaps now is the time to redirect the energy you have invested this issue into something more productive and forward-moving, such as edits to the VCP. Naleksuh (talk) 18:27, 4 April 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

About your work at RfC[edit source]

Hi @DeeM28, first of all good work. I would like to say that I like the 1st part of your proposal, there are some issues that I cannot agree with in the 2nd part; Why will the translation be removed? Why will translation be limited to only one user groups? When you open RfC, I expect a nice comment, because this subject interests me as well. have a nice day. Hey Türkiye Message? 14:57, 21 May 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

In addition; It may be true that the translations are made with Deepl, Ghatgpt, sometimes I use it myself. but it should be: We offer to adjust the machine translation we make in accordance with our own language. I do this all the time because machine translation doesn't make sense. if i ask; I would like to state that I will support it if you include the proposal Our machine translation should be arranged in accordance with the rules of the language.
