Dots will cause problems with our secure connections, so please stick to no dots or provide it as Custom Domain (I think we can allow it as custom domain). If you just meant cy.miraheze.org, let me know and I'll set it up. Hi. I'm here for a confirmation of an account that claims to be you. This account, using the name of your subaccount, claims that s/he is you, but uses Chinese on English Illogicopedia, and I doubt whether it's really you, as I know that you are a native speaker of English. Thus, I would like to make it clear whether it's real. If it is, it's OK, but I recommend you to use English on English websites (since, in some cases, users using other languages on Illogicopedia are immediately blocked). If it's not, then I'll simply report it to admins of illogicopedia, so that they can block the account. This is technically no longer a valid reason to decline wiki requests. Every request requires a valid subdomain and you could have created the wiki. John (talk) 20:43, 7 July 2018 (UTC) @John:According to the submitted request, this user seems to have requested to use a custom domain, but the URL for it is invalid (because it's not a full URL). Thus, though I'm not sure whether I can decline such requests because of invalid custom domain URLs (as wikis can still be created on Miraheze subdomains), I think this issue on a custom domain should be made clear before actually approving the request (or is it OK to discuss it after creating wikis?).--開拓者 (The Pioneer) (talk/contribs | global🌎) 02:25, 8 July 2018 (UTC) You don’t need to discuss or even consider custom domains as they’re (in an English way) above your pay grade. If people want a custom domain you push to them phabricator and we as sysadmins handle it. As a wiki creator, every request requires a constructed sub domain now (in the past they didn’t) therefore now, every request has a valid sub domain - though you cannot see it, when you press CreateWiki - it is automatically filled for you based on the request.
