Design and fonts on The Miraheze Cookbook

Hi Collei I just overhauled the design of The Miraheze Cookbook. What do you think about their design and fonts? Silicona (talk) 20:43, 26 February 2024 (UTC)

I haven't looked at all of it yet but it seems good so far, and this sounds like a good wiki idea. IIRC a recipe isn't eligible for copyright by itself so you could probably import recipes from another website as long as you don't copy their creative elements, I could be wrong about this though Collei (talk) (contribs) 20:48, 26 February 2024 (UTC)

Encouraging violating laws/rule breaking

Hi. The comments you made here where you suggest that "It's only illegal if you get caught" and "rules are made to be broken" are arguably inappropriate to be made in this context. Even if we may disagree with Chinese laws (and sure, there is a case for that) I don't think it's right to publicly be encouraging users to violate them. Even if you don't represent Miraheze, it makes it seem that volunteers are actively encouraging that. The general statement that rules are meant to be broken is also not great at all, especially considering that the user in question has been disrupting Meta, so encouraging them to break rules is the last thing that should be done. I'd strongly encourage you to refrain from making such statements to users in the future. I get that you were trying to help out the user by providing him with an alternative solution, but it's not up to us to be instructing users on how to violate laws. The person who changed your vote wasn't Collei, it was Agent Isai.
