Okay, I'm sorry, what?[edit source]

I didn't bother commenting on the community noticeboard regarding the "New Qualtipedia" discussion given that the discussion there was unnecessary, but I have to make some important comments on the comments you made.

  1. First of all, I acknowledge that Qualitipedia is flawed, but where the hell did you get this "Slurs in every sentence, even in official articles" crap? Since when have there been slurs all around Qualitipedia pages? Also, for the record, the wikis were made to document and explain the reception of media.
  2. Secondly, there is no reason a user would get in trouble for migrating now-closed wikis to another service. There is no rule against that. It is commonly what happens when a wiki or a group of wikis get(s) removed from one wiki hosting service.

  1. every single reception wiki page i have ever had the misfortune of accidentally ending up on used the r slur like eight times in the header alone
  2. No, but I was imagining they'd get at least a warning for continuing to discuss what is now another hoster's business in Miraheze spaces despite the topic of the site in question being frowned upon. Starts fights, attracts that one guy, etc. People with authority seem to want to put the topic to rest, at least.
  3. do u really have enough of a stake in this to go out of ur way to bother randos over it??? in a totally separate space no less. like, ur not improving the reputation of reception wiki users here. use the thread for thread business that is what it's for. i dont know you

  1. Well clearly you haven't read many pages, or you were reading pages when they were vandalised.
  2. Fair enough, but it seemed like you were complaining about them reviving it.
  3. I was just saying for the record...

  1. first impressions are everything bro
  2. Wouldn't bother me if I didn't know about it. They made it everyone's business by bringing it to the noticeboard.
  3. for the record, i'd like if you left me alone

Signature at Community noticeboard[edit source]

To sign and timestamp a post, press the tilde key four consecutive times, as you did. It will be converted when you save your edit. Unless, of course, you bracket the whole thing with NOWIKI, as you did. Then nothing at all will happen, and readers will see...four tildes, nothing more. I am sorry that something is "yelling at you" according to your change summary, when in fact you commanded it not to take effect! Spıke (talk) 02:49 12-Nov-2022

there isn't a reply option on this and i dont' know why T_T thing is i never use those brackets or whatever, I just use the default formatting method that pops up when you hit the button to make a reply. Seems a little unintuitive- shouldn't have to swap a few menus into different wiki editing styles to do something a popup controlled by the first style asks me to do sfdgfdhfjg Chantolove (talk) 04:30, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I can confirm that it isn't hard for signatures to be screwed up by the automatic reply system, which appears to have been used here. I doubt he deliberately used nowiki. Unfortunately an understanding of the 'original' way is required in order to cover for when the 'fancy way' bugs (which it often inevitably does). --Raidarr (talk) 13:00, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I get it. I always sign on wikis with the custom format shown here; this is why there is no [reply]. In fact, I did get two signatures in a recent post to Community noticeboard, presumably from using the [reply] button. So, @Raidarr: the thing to do is, when using [reply], not to sign at all?
