If you've just become patroller, you may have noticed that recent changes are being flagged by a red question mark (!). This only appears in unpatrolled edits. You must patrol. Note that autopatrolled rights users have exception (their edits are automatically patrolled), just like other patrollers.
Patrolling[edit source]
You must go to the designated page (marked with !), click on "View History" of the page and you will see "(cur | prev)", then you will have to press on "prev" and click on "[Mark as patrolled]". Note that there is a patrol log (in Special:Log/patrol!), that appears each patrol. If the edit is vandalism, you must revert it and patrol the edit afterwards to certify the other editors. If you see an unsigned comment, you must sign with {{SUBST:Unsigned|Name of the user}}.
