First things first, I am officially announcing my candidacy for an Election Commission seat for the year of 2019. I appreciate this opportunity to have a positive impact on the community and to provide this bridge between the community and its provider. I am a huge supporter of community voice in any application, and I hope to serve you with this passion at every available opportunity. This community desperately needs an independent non-staff voice, and I believe I can be that voice. If elected, I can assure you that I will affirm, reinforce, and back the community voice on every matter I possibly can, and especially on those matters relating to your rightful representation on the board as the heart of Miraheze.

Conflicts of Interest

I am disclosing to you that I have no known conflicts related to Miraheze or any of the users therein. If ever should any conflicts form or arise, I shall abstain from any judgements, decisions, or any decision making powers which could affect any such person, relationship, or situation.

Refusal of Self-nomination for the Term

I refuse to nominate myself for any global permissions on Miraheze for the entire length of my term. I may accept nominations from others as I see fit.

Recall and/or Resignation

At any time, I may be compelled to resign my position as Election Commissioner if petitioned for recall, so long as it meets the following conditions:

• The drafter of such a petition is a user with an account at least 30 days old
• The petition contains the signatures of 5 registered users, excluding the drafter
• The petition defines the offenses committed, including those not marked in policy
• The definitions of offenses consists entirely of evidentiary offenses

This process may be carried out independently from the official revocation procedures, and may constitute resignation prior to the end of term. Though not a requirement, if such a petition is created, I request to be notified.

If the petition does not meet these conditions, revocation must be enacted according to the official revocation procedures.

Vote of Confidence

I will seek a vote of confidence from the community at three weeks prior to the time of one year since my election, unless the community has made clear that I am desired to serve only a one year term, in which case it will be held at exactly 6 months. Failure to meet a simple majority (51% or greater) of votes may constitute my voluntary recall and resignation.

Application of These Conditions

This page officially documents the conditions in which I serve as an Election Commissioner. If elected, these conditions remain as they are and apply with the same seriousness and weight as they were drafted and submitted for candidacy. These conditions expire upon the end of my term unless extended into a future term, or my resignation, whichever comes first.
