Template:Adoption request ineligible

From Miraheze Meta, Miraheze's central coordination wiki

Thank you for submitting this adoption request. Unfortunately, this  cannot be undertaken because the wiki is not marked as closed per Dormancy Policy. What you can instead do is hold a local election, taking care to comply with any local permissions election rules. Where no local rules exist, typically, a best practice is to follow Meta's and our global permissions elections guidelines in terms of how long the request should remain open (typically 5-7 calendar days at minimum). Nevertheless, you can still define parameters within your election, such as the position(s) to be elected, the number of position(s) to be elected, the required minimum support ratio (if any), and what happens to requests with no votes (i.e., election by acclamation)—i.e., are those treated as successful or unsuccessful? Once that process has concluded, then you would head to stewards' noticeboard, begin a new thread, link to any local permissions election rules, and link to your local election for a steward to assess. --~~~~
