監督（Oversight）－ 以用戶與管理員的角度來看是一種具有刪除頁面、版本記錄、日誌記錄、檔案的權限。

Unlike normal deletion or revision deletion where pages, log entries and revisions are hidden from users but not local wiki administrators, suppression completely suppresses these and removes them from local administrators' view too, thus completely suppressing and hiding anything from the public's view. This is used in cases such as where non-public personal information is shared along with other select cases.

職權範圍

監督主要是用在清除個人隱私資料，例如：電話號碼、家庭地址、工作場所，或者是公布其他人的個人資料等。而擁有帳戶的編輯者因不小心登出而無意間暴露自己的 IP 位址以及沒有註冊帳戶而顯示 IP 位址的編輯者，他們所暴露出來的 IP 位址也屬於職權範圍之內，監督所擁有的工具即是刪除這些資訊的第一道防線。

• 這可能也包含其它疑似洩漏個資、敏感資料等問題，由具有監督權限的用戶依實際情況斟酌後執行相關動作。

以下情況可能也屬於監督的職員範圍之內，由具有監督權限的用戶依實際情況執行相關動作：

1. 移除疑似誹謗資訊，可能經由：a）依照 Miraheze 職員的要求；或 b）如果很明顯的發布誹謗資訊，則不應有存在的餘地。
2. 移除侵犯版權的內容，依照 Miraheze 職員的要求後執行。

1. 隱藏在列表或日誌上出現的公然攻擊他人之內容。一個公然攻擊他人的行為是指明顯地詆毀、威脅、誹謗、侮辱或騷擾等。
2. 通常具有以上行為的用戶以封禁處置。

1. 清除破壞行為。監督們偶爾會因本地管理員沒有完全清除而協助處理。該維基的用戶們在處理破壞的問題時應先在監督前來處理前有一個相關討論，除非破壞的問題已經非常嚴重或者因時間問題無法針對事情討論，這種情況下可以於事後再進行後續討論與處置。
2. 其它未列出的情況下可能也會有監督介入處理：我們無法一一列出例外的情況，但是保留處理的權利。

Local permission

Much like CheckUser, local suppressors may be appointed on wikis by their local community following a local election that fulfills all the requirements for steward. Stewards also require there always be a second locally appointed suppressor in order to balance each other out. Should there ever only be one suppressor instead of two, the local community must seek a replacement for the other suppressor immediately and that candidate must also fulfill all requirements laid out in this section. Should they fail to find a replacement, the remaining suppressor will lose their flag. All elections for this right will be under high scrutiny and supervision by Stewards to ensure compliance with all global policies.
