Reports[edit | edit source]

Out of scope: asoulwiki[edit | edit source]

Status:  Done

In it was originally applied for, it was noted for introducing asoul organization, however, in the later, the wiki change name to "原批维基", and seems to have no information about asoul Honglan233 (talk) 01:53, 22 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This wiki was previously reported for posting PII, and had reinstated it following diversion of steward attention. Combined with substantial deviation from original scope, this was grounds for immediate deletion without appeal. --NotAracham (talkcontribsglobal) 04:18, 22 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

FurrNations Wiki: Several policy violations[edit | edit source]

Status:  Done

I've checked practically all pages on FurrNations Wiki, and I believe it violates several global policies. Due to the extensive size of problematic pages, I've decided to put it on my userspace: User:BlankEclair/FurrNations Wiki pages check.

Here are some general policy violations:

Due to the little amount of content the wiki actually has, I believe that the wiki may also be classified as NSFW since there are also explicit images. If so, it also then violates Content Policy, section "Not-safe-for-work wikis". More specifically, these points:

2. "Do not post NSFW content on the wiki's main page": This is debatable since I wouldn't count nipples as explicit content, but it is at least questionable.
3. "Include a dismissible site notice alerting users that the content is not appropriate for users under 18": I did not see a site notice when browsing
4. "Media that is explicit in nature should be collapsed by default": See my list of unblurred questionable images on pages and unblurred explicit images on pages.

A review:
  • Stubbed, incomplete and empty pages: not a content policy violation by itself, quite common for wikis under construction.
  • Out of scope/Wikipedia pages: Looks like this was an early attempt to import WP templates/clean up redlinks/borrow style, agreed that removal of the unused/irrelevant content would be appropriate.
  • Unblurred questionable/explicit images: This does merit attention, yes.
  • Unused images: Doesn't reach a level meriting action yet.
@DarrellTheDragon, looks like we have a few things (see above) that require cleanup to keep your wiki in compliance with content policy.
Regarding unblurred explicit images, switching the wiki to Private (must be a member to view images) would also meet compliance.
Please reply and confirm how you'll proceed, and we'll go from there. --NotAracham (talkcontribsglobal) 21:13, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I put some Omboxes warning about the content on certain articles so, I'm not sure if it counts like almost done. I'm doubtful DarrellTheDragon (talk) 22:12, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the reply. I've deleted the remaining page of substantial issue (list of The Office episodes) and am considering the matter closed for now. --NotAracham (talkcontribsglobal) 00:06, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

mija.miraheze.org[edit | edit source]

Status:  Not done

Major scope change. From the first request, it is now "wikis about everything". (It was my mistake to approve it when it originally looked like social media) Waki285(talk|contrib|log|CA|Target) 12:56, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Review of actual wiki contents finds that it is still plausibly in scope given originally stated purpose. Closing as not done. --NotAracham (talkcontribsglobal) 16:09, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Snowballaspedia[edit | edit source]

Status:  Not done

Many of the articles on Snowballaspedia have completely random writing and are outside of what is considered "humorous." Some examples I have found are:

Furthermore, the wiki lacks clear rules or a defined objective, which gives rise to "anything goes", which is not allowed in the Content Policy, "Scope" section, subsection "Wikis must be organized around a coherent theme with discernible standards". Although they have a rules page (which, by the way, is copied entirely from Satirapedia), they do not seem to comply with them. --Sr. A (talk) 23:52, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The complaints registered as policy violations here don't merit steward action -- the wiki as a whole adheres to theme and a vague argument can be made for dadaist humor in the presentation of some of the linked examples. As well, folks are welcome to borrow local content policies they find useful from other wikis. Closing as not done. --NotAracham (talkcontribsglobal) 00:04, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Giantess Wiki[edit | edit source]

Status:  On hold

Appears to be another fetish image repository, a violation of Content Policy. There's a whole category for disgusting and bizarre fetishes. There are countless gallery pages that show you these people's weird obsessions. Its policy page (transferred from the Fandom wiki) says that sexual content is not allowed, yet the majority of its content is fetish art. Likewise, the policy page says that pedophilia and zoophilia are prohibited, yet some of these images show underage characters or animal characters. In short, the wiki devolved into a fetish image repository when it was transferred to Miraheze. Please shut it down. Buzzfan120 (talk) 04:32, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Buzzfan120: Thanks for the reports. For this report as well as the other two, please do link us to some examples of violations of the Content Policy as we can't be expected to do a full survey of the wiki in order to find them. I would also note that the prohibition is only on "repositories of media intended for sexual gratification" as well as fetishes involving minors and as such a wiki that discusses fetishes wouldn't in itself be in violation unless it falls under one of those categories. Per reception, more information is needed to action this report. On hold awaiting user response. --NotAracham (talkcontribsglobal) 23:25, 21 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Animated Muscle Women Wiki[edit | edit source]

Status:  Done

Wiki: animatedmusclewomen.miraheze.org

Another fetish image repository. Again, this is a Content Policy violation, as Miraheze wikis should not be used as fetish image repositories. --Buzzfan120 (talk) 04:45, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Done, wikis will be deleted in 30 days to provide time for emigration. --NotAracham (talkcontribsglobal) 23:23, 21 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Anime Baths Wiki[edit | edit source]

Status:  Done

Wiki: animebaths.miraheze.org

Another fetish image repository wiki. Again, this is a Content Policy violation, as Miraheze wikis should not be used as fetish image repositories. --Buzzfan120 (talk) 04:47, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Done, wikis will be deleted in 30 days to provide time for emigration. --NotAracham (talkcontribsglobal) 23:23, 21 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
