@Babylon Rocker: According to this link (visible only to System Administrators and Stewards) and ths link (visible only to users that can add or remove rights on your wiki) you still have Bureaucrat access.   • Reason: The founder, JoshuaTheRoman, has not updated the wiki in about a year, and I checked his contributions on Wikia (he's also an admin on Alternate History in Wikia) and saw he wasn't active either. I started to contribute to that wiki less than a year ago and I wanted to be on Miraheze rather than the Alternate History in Wikia because I didn't like the toxicity of their userbase as well as Wikia's own policies. I did asked the founder if he would like to continue with the wiki and if not if I could adopt him for him, so I'd rather wait until I get a confirmation from him. If he doesn't answer for a while, then might as well adopt it.

I have contributed some to the wiki in the past: I've created a timeline there and uploaded a few images, but the problem now is that if I try to access other pages on the wiki, it displays a permission error where only admins of that wiki can view the page, and it's not just special pages either, it's even regular pages. The only page I could view and thus edit is the Main Page (and I did recently added content to the Main Page). SapphireWilliams (talk page • contributions) 16:38, 4 July 2018 (UTC)

 Not done Unfortunately, private wikis cannot be adopted as that would defeat the whole purpose of them being private in the first place, if that content could then later be accessed upon inactivity and closure. Therefore, the only way to get the wiki reopened (or made public) is contacting bureaucrats. The wiki could only be adopted if you were a member of the private wiki.
