This discussion has become uncivil and is in any case out of scope for this page. Please see the Wikiyri thread on the Stewards' noticeboard. I am addressing this in my newly-regained capacity as Steward.
I am not disputing the closure of the wiki (that can be discussed above on the SN if it is in contention) but I am overriding its deletion. Abrupt deletion should be reserved for the worst of cases and this isn't one of them. I have undeleted the wikis and posted a custom Sitenotice which allows a grace period of two weeks starting now to get a copy of their data. If the operators need assistance in this process, they are free to message me.
My apologies for the inconvenience in resolving this matter.

  • Reason: The allegations against our wikis are true, and we sincerely apologize for that. We will remove problematic articles soon. And will try to avoid any such complaints. I think this happened because many people edit our wiki. And not all articles are reviewed regularly. We will try not to make such mistakes. And if it is not possible to restart these wikis then please give us a backup of its DataDump. So that we can get the site up and running again.

@SORIF B. MAHMUD: You are more than welcome to appeal the deletion of your wikis. However, I will note two things. Firstly, this is not the venue for such appeals. The stewards' noticeboard would be the correct place for that. Secondly, your wikis have been deleted. Unless you (or an SRE member) has a backup on hand (or I guess archive.org), it is not recoverable. But you can check and see, and if one is on hand, I would suggest to follow my first note. How can you do that? I admit, we had a wrong comment in one of the articles, it was just one line. And the thing about creating articles in exchange for money is completely false. Check it out, proof. This is a post made a few days before the complaint. This proves how little your conscience is. You deleted the complaint without even reporting it, like a fool. We also provide free unmanaged hosting and domains. And don't take any credit for it and don't include any links to donate to our company, like you. We set them up as entrepreneurs with money.[2] And you provide managed hosting, take credit and delete content without permission. Is it a sensible thing to do? I admit, the hosting is yours but the content is ours. It is not your own property. Our editors did not copyright, created the articles themselves. We don't do that when deleting wikis because if there's a need to obtain a datadump, wikis can be undeleted for a brief period after deletion to allow for downloading a backup, which we have done in the past. Of course, we're under no obligation to provide this at all, and let's just say, I at least aren't going to be giving you a backup. I'm too much of an intelligence-lacking individual to know how to use ManageWiki to undelete wikis. OrangeStar (talk) 11:03, 19 April 2023 (UTC)

Interestingly, you are the one who submitted the original request; however, looking at your CentralAuth, you don't have bureaucrat or sysop rights, and your account was attached to the wiki well after it was made. This is exceptionally unusual and should not be happening. Aside from that, if the wiki is reopened, I'd recommend adding reliable sources to its content; this is important, as your wiki deals with sensitive content about living people, which could easily fall into Content Policy violations if you're not careful. In fact, a similar wiki named the Real Life Villains Wiki was closed a while ago for the same issue. Tali64³ (talk) 01:26, 29 April 2023 (UTC)
@Maddiem:  open and fixed your permissions. Tali is correct: I would focus on further enacting rules 3 and 4. Critically I advise including a background source even for the basic profiles that are posted already to ground the articles into something provable right from the page when visited, such as credible news articles indicating the crime(s) listed. Your wiki's database has been dropped, so it's impossible to restore. Please file another request here and wait for it to be approved. If you have a backup of your wiki, you can do the following to import it to your new wiki if it's created: 1) if your backup's size is less than 2MB, you may be able to import it via Special:Import (it may take a few tries, so if you get a 502 error, just refresh the page); 2) if your backup is over 2MB, please file a request to import it at Special:RequestImportDump on Meta (this wiki). We were very focused on advertising and editing the wiki leading up to the 2022 election because we wanted it to serve as a central repository where voters can find information about issues on their ballots. We expect the page to draw slightly less traction in between elections and, due to other commitments have not had an extended amount of time to decide how we want to advertise the page differently now that it no longer contains ballot measure information. We do intend to advertise it more regularly, though, and we expect that it will draw more viewership leading up to the 2024 election.

@BrandonWM: your advice is inapplicable as the wiki has not been deleted. The title of the request was malformed and did not refer to an existing wiki. Aside from this, please do not redirect a soft-deletion as it can be trivially addressed here as well if it is the case.

There are a few cases where you've successfully redirected them mostly in January, but during that same period as well as after my return there are also examples of undeletion taking place here. Additionally undeletion taking place here is the standing precedent when looking back to last year and before (search "undelete" in archives 10-13 for this trajectory). Semantically the SN is the ideal first case but technically it is trivial to address in either location, and reducing paperwork for requestors (ie having them file in multiple places) is preferred in any case unless the location is absolutely incorrect - in which case you have the liberty to move the request outright ie, CN or a random mainspace discussion page to SN if it is suitable there. --Raidarr (talk) 16:09, 17 May 2023 (UTC)

I had just downloaded a private wiki software today to transfer it, then when I went to my wiki I found all my pages were gone and there was nothing to transfer. This deletion must have occurred recently. I would like access to my wiki to move my pages off it and then after that I would like it deleted. Thank you for your consideration.

I myself have not found a way to undelete, and the wiki remains closed still yet. That wiki was deleted due to Content Policy violations, particularly violations of the then-recently added provision prohibiting sexual content involving minors (log action); its database has since been dropped, so even if it didn't violate the Content Policy, it wouldn't be able to be restored anyway, and it cannot be recreated per the aforementioned Content Policy provision. If you meant cmrp.miraheze.org, then that wiki appears to be open, and even if it weren't, you can reopen it via Special:ManageWiki since you are a bureaucrat; if instead you want to change your wiki's subdomain, that should be requested on Phabricator, though it may take longer than usual to be completed due to the current shortage in technical volunteers.
