Requests for Comment/Policy to document ALL existing policies on Meta

Reasoning for this request[edit | edit source]

Absence of telepathic abilities in the majority of Miraheze's users that jeopardizes their knowledge of any existing policy. This, in turn, might lead to:
- Less adherence to policies
- Less utility of policies, disserving their original objectives and wasting community efforts put into shaping them
- Policy-request redundancy

Update: Let me clarify:

This request shouldn't be interpreted as to suggest extreme micromanagement (e.g. use your Pinky when clicking Submit)
The focus of this request is to document all existing policies that the average wiki user wouldn't know unless they were explicitly written (i.e. wikis elsewhere differ in their procedures on specific matters and so no known convention has risen in the online wiki community regarding those matters, sheesh)
Main motivation behind this request was the absence of clear documentation on how Miraheze policies are adopted in the first place. The absence of such a vital policy would make constitutional law professors, like former US president Obama, bang their heads on the wall. This will inevitably cause an endless mess on Miraheze's floors at a time when we're already short on volunteers

Comment: Much like the two biggest English-language wikis hosted on Mirahze, the policies aren't really obvious to new users. (And I say that as an admin of both of the two biggest English-language wikis hosted on Mirahze.
