Join the official Miraheze Discord server

There are various ways to connect with other Miraheze users and volunteers in real-time. One of these ways is to connect with us via Discord, a real-time chatting platform which Miraheze utilizes in addition to IRC. There, you can talk with all our volunteers and solicit help or discuss particular topics.

Many Discord channels are also relayed to their IRC equivalent so if you're on IRC, there is no need to connect to our Discord to receive assistance in certain channels and vice versa.

Please remember that the Miraheze Spaces Code of Conduct applies to all off-wiki spaces, including Discord.

Joining

To join our official Discord server, click here. Your Discord account must have a verified e-mail to join.

Due to persistent spam, you will need to link your wiki account first before being able to post links. See below for more information.

Verification

To verify your Discord account, type /auth when you join and follow the instructions that are sent to you via a direct message.

By authenticating your account, you'll be able to post links and bypass a few other restrictions set in place to prevent spam.

Prior to authentication via bot being introduced, this process was manual via a wiki page. To see the archive, see: Discord/Verification
