At the direction and discretion of the Board of Directors, certain volunteers or privileged external parties may be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) as a condition of being granted certain roles or permissions with the WikiTide Foundation.

These agreements are most frequently triggered when a role or permission would grant the individual access to:

Personal information - end-user IP addresses or geolocation data
Confidential information - Steward investigative reports, non-public plans for new offerings or service expansions
Access to Integral Systems - access to server infrastructure, bank accounts, billing systems, etc.

Agreements are sent by and maintained in confidence by the Secretary of the Board of Directors, company access to completed agreements is secured under multi-factor authentication.

Eligibility to Sign

In order to be eligible to sign an agreement, an individual must:

Be at least 18 years of age (or age of majority in the signer's country)
Sign the agreement voluntarily
Consent to use electronic signature and delivery for the agreement
Consent to disclose the following pieces of personal information on the Agreement paperwork
- their email address (for delivery)
- a physical address (for legal validity)
- real name (for legal validity)

Completed agreement paperwork will be securely held in confidence and personal information shall not be disclosed to third parties except where legally necessary and only to the degree necessary, such as audit compliance or in the case of litigation resulting from misuse of access.

Roles Requiring an NDA

At the direction of the board, you must have been added below as having signed an NDA to gain the following roles:

Steward
CheckUser
Oversight
Shell Access
Director
External vendor or consultant, when required based on access needs

The list below must only be updated by a WikiTide Director on confirmation of an NDA. Please add a link to the diff after to confirm when it was added and who by. Unauthorised additions will be reverted.
