New wiki

Yes, it was my fault for lack of time. But now I'm focusing mainly on just these wikis: nanatsunotaizai, tokyoghoul, thehushhushsaga; And the new one that would be shingekinokyojin

Wiki Request

Hey there,

I mistakenly requested a new wiki at a custom domain (request 3034).

Could I request that the domain be, rather, a subdomain styled as: overon.miraheze.org?

Thanks for your time.

All the best, -Veldias

Un lock on my wiki

Can you unlock me on my wiki nasa.miraheze.org or make the user chicken nugget the sysop and bureaucrat

Request reasserted and immediately stalled

It has been a year since I put forward my name-change request, as the username I wish to poach has continued to be inactive in that year. It is at Stewards' noticeboard#Request to poach another user's name, bis. @開拓者: brought up an issue, independent of my request, though related to both him and me, and poof! my request is again in limbo, Management evidently seeing a reason it could defer a decision. Would you please goose this request so that it is accepted or rejected with a valid rationale? Spıke (talk)03:12 2-Mar-2019

@Spike the Dog: As I am not a steward, I cannot do anything about that, but I will ask the stewards to take a look and decide on what to do. Reception123 (talk) (C) 06:48, 2 March 2019 (UTC)

Patrolling oddity

Another question, please! When I turn on the Big Machine and visit Miraheze, I usually try to help by patrolling a few edits on Meta. For most pages, this used to involve a cute little circular animation on the change summary and it was done. Now, I get a separate confirmation page. This makes the process more complicated, as the link to Previous/Next Edit is cleared away.

Did I change one of my Preferences to lose the ability to patrol edits quickly? Did I lose some user rights? Spıke (talk)22:46 3-Mar-2019

@Spike the Dog: Would you mind taking a screenshot of what it shows you? For me it works as it always has. Reception123 (talk) (C) 13:49, 4 March 2019 (UTC)
It is a page whose contents (below the usual title and #p-cactions) are "Mark revision 68970 of User talk:Promisekun as patrolled?" and presents a button labeled OK. Its URL is https://meta.miraheze.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Promisekun&action=markpatrolled&rcid=262820
The point is, formerly, I was not directed to a different page at all but remained on the new page or on the change summary I was patrolling, except on important pages like the Stewards' Noticeboard. Spıke (talk)23:28 4-Mar-2019
Hmm, working as expected off my phone. Failing on Firefox 52. (Firefox 10 can't get on at all.) Never mind, sorry! Spıke (talk)23:07 10-Mar-2019
@Spike the Dog: Sorry I couldn't help. It might indeed be a version thing, as you have figured out by yourself :) Reception123 (talk) (C) 05:34, 12 March 2019 (UTC)
I do have NoScript rejecting Javascript from Google; do you think this could be causing it? Spıke (talk)11:27 17-Mar-2019

ready to request rights

can I request rights via the Meta:Requests for permissions page? i don't think that I have enough experience. you can look at this page for reference to show that how new is my account actually. LegoMaster (talk - contribs - logs - uploads - global contribs) 11:50, 8 March 2019 (UTC)

@LegoMaster: If you mean wikicreator, sure, more is always great. Reception123 (talk) (C) 08:21, 9 March 2019 (UTC)
I'm still waiting for my wiki to be created: https://meta.miraheze.org/wiki/Special:RequestWikiQueue/7527. Plus, can I become a wiki creator?LadyParanormal (talk) 09:15, 9 March 2019 (UTC)
i already made a request for wikicreator rights LegoMaster (talk - contribs - logs - uploads - global contribs) 01:18, 10 March 2019 (UTC)

Tolololpedia

Mesincuciuddin is inactive in tolololpedia.miraheze.org ,so can you nominate me as an admin there? You can also tell this to Spike --Pradiptamf (talk) 09:31, 17 March 2019 (UTC)

I see it, thanks! If the wiki operator is inactive, perhaps this is essentially a request to adopt the wiki? Spıke (talk)11:27 17-Mar-2019
If the wiki is closed, it can be adopted. If not, a request must be made locally and you must be voted, after which the request is made at Stewards' noticeboard. Reception123 (talk) (C) 13:58, 17 March 2019 (UTC)
So, Pradip, the question becomes: Is anyone there at all? If so, I agree that they decide whether you should be an Admin. Spıke (talk)14:13 17-Mar-2019
