Please, can I know something about a new wiki that I asked one day ago? The name shold be bridge or similar, if is possible. Thanks, --Gac 19:36, 21 November 2018 (UTC)

@Gac: Sorry for the delayed response! I presume this has been resolved? Miraheze Logo.svg CnocBride | Talk | Contribs 13:33, 2 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Not yet; can you do it for me, please ? Thank you :-) --Gac 16:32, 2 December 2018 (UTC)
Could you explain more about what your request is? Miraheze Logo.svg CnocBride | Talk | Contribs 20:32, 2 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yes (sorry for the english): we are a group af man playing bridge in a club and we are trying to learn more of bridge. I think is a good idea the put our knowledge in a basket like wiki to exchange think between us. I am an apprentice in bridge (and in English too) but a good skilled in wiki :-) I thank in advance, --Gac 07:46, 4 December 2018 (UTC)

    Discussion notifications[edit source]

As you have probably noticed by now, Site updates have not been sent/updated for a while. The main reason for this is the fact that there was not an interest in it, and there was not enough information that was worth sending to users monthly.

I am sending this message to the Site updates list because I would like to propose a trying out a different type of notice sent to users. Instead of monthly updates of a limited number of statistics (which can be consulted by users anyway), staff would instead notify interested users if there is an interesting discussion (on Community noticeboard or Stewards' noticeboard) or if there is a local vote on Meta. Currently, there is no incentive for many users to visit Meta and check recent changes to see if there is anything they would be interested in, so this system would fix that and notify users of that so they can join in the discussion whenever there is one.

In order to subscribe to these notifications, please add your name in the same format to Discussion notifications/List, and you will start being notified on your talkpage. If there is interest in these notifications, they will be continued.

Also, please note that at least for the time being Site updates will be discontinued (since all the statistics are available anyway).

    Phabricator Herald Rule[edit source]

Hi, and Happy New Year! I've noticed that you have had this Herald rule for a while now, only recently you do not have much use for such rule since you are not active on Phabricator. Do you still check up on tasks and still need this rule, or would it maybe be best to narrow its scope or disable it? Reception123 (talk) (C) 14:18, 1 January 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hi! Yes, I used to use it a lot back when the wiki extension jobs were more pronounced. I've disabled it since I'm always going on cycles of activity and inactivity on the wiki farm and the rule is redundant now. Happy New Year to you too Reception, apologies for my terrible promptness when it comes to matters like this! Small change to the RequestWiki UI[edit source]

    Hi,

Just letting you know that there's been a small change to the RequestWiki UI this morning and you can check the new steps to take here.

Mainly wanted to note that you can leave the reason field blank if you are approving a request, as it will automatically link to the request.

Also would like to note that declining is now also done via the "Handle request" section rather than a separate one.

I need help with the infoboxes[edit source]

Hi, excuse me if my english is not really good.

I was reading your tutorial "User:CnocBride/Installing infoboxes from Wikimedia", I was doing the last step, when this error happen:

"La importación ha fallado: The content model 'sanitized-css' is not registered on this wiki. See https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Content_handlers to find out which extensions handle this content model."

    ¿How can I solved?

This is my wiki (is in Spanish). --El meerahezedista (talk) 00:29, 25 September 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
