You're currently logged out. If you're having problems with your wiki, you need to login.

Looking to make a report regarding a specific user? In addition to being required to provide a thorough and complete report, you should also know that reports by anonymous or logged out users are not taken very seriously for a couple reasons, namely that:
1. We don't know who is making the report; and,
2. Western liberal democracies enshrine in a citizen's fundamental, constitutionally-enshrined legal rights the right to know and face one's accuser, and Miraheze is no different.

Accordingly, please kindly login. If you are unable to login, please e-mail sre(at) with your username and the specific error message you are receiving, and they will assist you, or direct you to other global functionaries where appropriate.

This noticeboard is only for requests that require Stewards', or, in a limited number of circumstances, Global Sysops' intervention. If in doubt, please try the Community noticeboard first, and you will be directed here if the matter requires a Steward.

On the Stewards' noticeboard, you can request...

  • ...a Steward or Global Sysop lock a spam only or vandalism only account. Note that for vandalism only accounts, the vandalism must meet the global standard definition for vandalism and to be a vandalism only account, there must be no or almost no constructive editing behaviour and, additionally, this behaviour should be occurring on multiple wikis
  • ...additional permissions on your wiki(s) that can only be granted by a Steward, such as local interwiki administrator following a successful election
  • ...a page requiring the bigdelete user right (more than 1,000 revisions) be deleted on your wiki
  • ...a Dormancy Policy exemption for your wiki

or report...

  • ...a Username Policy violation (whether in good-faith or bad faith)
  • ...a user suspected of abusing multiple accounts per the User accounts policy. You must link to specific revisions from both the suspected master and illegitimate alternate account(s)
  • ...systemic Code of Conduct problems occurring by one or more user(s) on one or more wiki(s) and/or systemic Content Policy violations on one or more wiki(s). In either case, your report must link to specific revisions and, in the latter case, your report must be both thorough and comprehensive

If you would like to request...

Instructions/Read before making a request

If you suspect sockpuppetry, please compile evidence for this. Include as many links to similar behavior as possible such as overlaps in editing styles, grammar, edit summaries, or even SocialProfile data. Failure to do this may result in delays or a decline.

To make a request, place the following at the very bottom of this section. Replace every section as needed:

Никифор Калинов@polandballruwikiEdit

Aphrodite: Thank you for the report and apologies for the delay. I can indeed confirm that Никифор Калинов and ContryBel are related. Not only that but Никифор Калинов also had several sockpuppet accounts, as listed below:
Розенфельдовец (Миша)
I have globally locked all of these accounts so there is no need to locally block them on your wiki. Additionally, I have also locked Никифор Калинов for this as their sockpuppets were evidently disruptive as many of them are locally blocked on your wiki. I have also globally blocked his IP range for a year so there should he should not be returning for a long time.
As for Invlad3452 and Луганский маппер, there is no data which links them together or to Никифор Калинов. If you have any questions, please let us know. Thank you for your report! Agent Isai Talk to me! 02:17, 21 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Agent Isai, thanks for the answer! I want to inform you that Никифор Калинов bypasses the blocking from the new account, and does not even try to hide it. Can you please block him again? Aphrodite (talk) 15:15, 21 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I have locked that new account. It seems he used a VPN to circumvent his global IP blocks so I have globally blocked all IPs by that VPN provider. Thank you for the report! Agent Isai Talk to me! 16:08, 21 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I saw their latest sockpuppets and I have locked both of them and I blocked all IPs used by their newest VPN provider. Agent Isai Talk to me! 06:01, 23 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I have performed a CheckUser and there is no clear technical evidence to match the users, except the same UA. There is clear behavioral evidence (WP:DUCK) that shows it's the same users. While they've only vandalised one wiki and minimally which would usually not warrant a global lock (as a block will be sufficient) given their usernames which clearly also indicate trolling I've decided to lock both accounts for violating the multiple account policy. Requests for (un)(b)locksEdit

Instructions/Read before making a request

Please use this section to request global locks (including self-locks), blocks, or their rescindment. If reporting vandalism-only accounts, make sure they fit the global standard definition for vandalism only accounts: there must be no or almost no constructive editing behaviour and, additionally, this behaviour should be occurring on multiple wikis.

If requesting a global lock, place the following at the very bottom of this section. Replace every section as needed:

== Username ==
*{{LockHide|username1|hidename=1}} <!-- include hidename=1 if you want to hide the username as it's offensive -->
*:Include your reason here ~~~~

If you're including multiple accounts in your report, format it as follows

Administrator/Bureaucrat accessEdit

Instructions/Read before making a request

Use this section to request Stewards grant you local administrator or bureaucrat on a wiki without active/any bureaucrats (or unwilling bureaucrats if they refuse to certify a successful vote) following a local election. We normally don't grant permissions without a local election for advanced rights like this so you'll need to make a local election unless you accidentally demoted yourself.

If you accidentally removed your own permissions, you can also use this section to request readdition.

Please place the following at the very bottom of this section. Replace every section as needed:

There were technical issues with creating the wiki due to a MediaWiki update yesterday (see this talk page section for details); as supported by Special:ListUsers, there is no local bureaucrat on avasinwiki; as the wiki requestor, I am requesting local bureaucrat rights. I have the same issues as of right now for my own wiki at Asibs121 (talk) 14:22, 23 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
On hold. Miraheze staff are working as fast as they can. Permissions are not the only thing that is broken, but they can be easily fixed by stewards once they get to this. Following a recent MediaWiki update, many features related to new wiki creation have been broken, due to issues involving caching and other things. You may notice that images on your wiki don't work, either partially or entirely, and you may have issues with using ManageWiki and other features. A member of site reliability engineering can usually manually make changes to the effected wikis, but it may take them some time while they work on fixing the cause of the problem. Collei (talk) 20:21, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I recently opened a wiki, but wasn't given admin rights, so beyond simple page edits I'm unable to properly edit any of the styling. If this could be amended I'd greatly appreciate it!

You should ask the local wiki bureaucrats to do that. This one appears active: Collei (talk) 21:52, 25 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I would like stewards to do it (: Cocopuff2018 (talk) 07:20, 26 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Unless the appropriate wiki authorities are inactive, Stewards generally decline to get involved with local issues. There shouldn't be a problem with requesting that the active bureaucrat fulfill your request. Happy to pitch in if needed. Thanks - BrandonWM (talkcontributionsglobalrights) 07:27, 26 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Ask Sunil to do it first. Stewards generally only get involved where there's no active bureaucrats and Sunil seems to be active. Agent Isai Talk to me! 16:52, 26 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I held an election for bureaucrat permissions (I also originally requested the wiki but it seems I don't have bureaucrat perms). Wiki (un)deletionEdit

Instructions/Read before making a request

Use this section to request Stewards undelete a wiki if it was deleted for inactivity (not if it's 'closed' (i.e. uneditable but still online) in which case you must use Requests for reopening wikis).

To request a wiki deletion, if your wiki has multiple contributors, you must hold a local discussion beforehand and consensus must be in favor of the wiki closing. If your wiki is a small/personal one where you are the sole contributor, no discussion is needed.

If I understand correctly, this wiki is used to discuss among members of the chakuwiki community whenever there's issues with the main wiki? If so I'm not convinced that would be something that would be eligible for a Dormancy Policy exemption as it doesn't seem the content of such a wiki would be valuable to be 'read by users' if it's sort of a backup wiki. • Requesting: Deployment of Semantic Drilldown
  • Reason(s): A counterpart to Semantic MediaWiki, Semantic Drilldown "provides a [Special:Browse] page for drilling down through a site's data, using categories and filters on semantic properties. It is heavily tied in with the SMW extension, and is meant to be used for structured data that has semantic markup."
Drilldown was also available on Yaron Koren's Referata back when that service was active; that much I realised during today's round of imports from the original Dixwell Dossier which it hosted. (Specifically, thanks to the "Filter" bits in the "Tracks" category description minutes before press time.)
On SN here, the extension was also previously mentioned early last June in this request by alicesoft bureaucrat Alto the Reaper.
Apologies if this is getting in the way of the upcoming MW 1.39 upgrade; we could've added Score too if not for the extension test recently nearing its end. (Relisting the latter request anytime between then and the start of February.) Routhwick (talk) 21:45, 15 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Wiki reportsEdit

Instructions/Read before making a request

Use this section to report wikis which are in violation of our global policies, such as the Content Policy. When reporting a wiki, please make sure to include lots of details, links to infringing pages, and more. If the matter is sensitive, please report this via email to stewards

Please place a new request at the bottom of this section.

Real Life Villains Wiki Potential Content Policy Violations?Edit

At least 95% of the pages on there, do not have a source for reference. Considering that this wiki also features Internet users, I believe the wikis need to be warned for not having references to what they did wrong (EX: News report, or Wikipedia info) and they should delete pages that do not have sources. Nidoking (talk) 19:47, 1 November 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Moved to wiki reports. --Blad (talkcontribsglobal) 20:37, 1 November 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I agree with Nidoking, there are some pages throwing the kind of accusations you don't want to throw without solid references. Some sanction is in order. OrangeStar (talk) 21:27, 1 November 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Agreed. The content of that wiki can ruin innocent people's lives if a claim about a person is untrue. Dimpizzy (talk) 03:00, 17 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Can you provide some examples? Agent Isai Talk to me! 00:22, 2 November 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
There are various pages on there that don't have any references at all, like this page for example and Nidoking (talk) 11:56, 2 November 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Any update? Nidoking (talk) 14:41, 9 November 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
All the wiki really. When it covers relatively unknown living people being accused of stuff like child abuse, murder, and all that, it shouldn't assume that these are common knowledge, they should include solid references for such claims. OrangeStar (talk) 19:48, 5 December 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I believe at this juncture it would be ideal to raise the idea locally and see how receptive local managers are to cleaning up sources. Seeing how willing they are on this in public could give Stewards some ground to raise this topic as a priority if their intervention is required. --Raidarr (talk) 15:42, 9 November 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Alright, I'll give that a try. OrangeStar (talk) 19:33, 5 December 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Listen, what the wikis say will be heard of, and people will use that as their source much more than anything else.
If you're gonna go out of your way to get a wiki meant to educate people about real life villains and why people should not be them, then that means you are enabling bad people. RoboticBloxxer (talk) 17:34, 7 December 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
The concern raised here is that the wiki is mostly unsourced. Given that it has many articles dealing with people, this could be a potential violation of CP 3 (and anyway, ignoring whatever the policy may say, it's best to include sources for the claims in any article whenever it's dealing with real life stuff, be it living people or other things). It's not our intention to enable bad people. OrangeStar (talk) 17:58, 7 December 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@RoboticBloxxer: To be honest it looks like you missed a few words and that muddles the point you were making but I assume you are implying that people trying to hold the wiki accountable are enabling bad people.
The problem with 'what the wikis say will be heard of' is that 'heard of' is literally hearsay. I can make up whatever crap I want and put it on the wiki. As long as it's obscure or I can whip out minority arguments/political buzzwords to support it, it's good and with the right timing it probably won't be challenged. If there wasn't a wide internet with thorough and better backed up information that demonstrates why people are 'bad' (between more objective sources as Wikipedia with a deliberate neutral tone, and blogs/journalism going into the nasty details), perhaps your implication of social benefit would hold more value. But it doesn't. The wiki brings little overall benefit and even less so if it's too lazy to back itself up and it's a sludge of what people think or remember. Your post enables and excuses lazy writing that can just as well enable harassment. That is the concern involved here.
If 'look just google it' is what you are implying as the reason to sustain the wiki then you've failed to even demonstrate why the wiki should exist. If arbitrary 'oh I heard about it' is good enough to sustain the wiki content then it might as well be closed now. I'd rethink this approach.
I'm probably going to be gone by the time you reply, so this is my final 2c on the matter. I don't even think the wiki is quite that much of a problem to warrant closure or direct intervention but your "defense" here does a disservice. --Raidarr (talk) 13:09, 24 December 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
That wiki must be closed due to lack of management and any other problems. Also there already Wikipedia which had more accurate information. Nirmanyu9 (talk) 22:49, 6 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Spam report for inactive wikiEdit - this is spam, created on a wiki which has only one inactive sysop. The sysop has not edited since their 3 edits on June 2022, and their similarly small group of edits throughout 2019, 2020, and 2021. I believe that the page should be deleted as spam. Collei (talk) 00:45, 13 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Can confirm what Collei said. This page seems to be in violation of Section I of the Miraheze Content Policy. If the services provided turn out to be a scam, this could also be in violation of Section VIII of the Content Policy. Don't know if we let it sit since it's not too big of a deal, but definitely seems shifty to me. Thanks - BrandonWM (talkcontributionsglobalrights) 04:51, 13 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Also, if it turns out to be a scam, it could violate "Miraheze does not host any content that is illegal in the United Kingdom", because it's, well, fraud. Collei (talk) 07:03, 13 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Note: This thread has been moved from a completely unrelated one. Tali64³ (talk) 11:55, 13 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Well, I'm not reporting the wiki, just the specific page. It says that you can use this page to request global sysop intervention, and I'm requesting global sysop intervention to delete spam. Collei (talk) 16:51, 13 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Discussion closureEdit

Instructions/Read before making a request

Please use this section to request a Steward close a local discussion. This may be in cases of local elections on wikis without bureaucrats, on wikis where local bureaucrats also voted thus needing a third-party to close, on wikis where the bureaucrat is inactive or unwilling to close a discussion, etc.

Instructions/Read before making a request

If your request doesn't fall under any of these categories, you can add your request or question here.

Issue with the AMYTW staffEdit

On Amazing YouTubers Wiki, the staff are, in my opinion, rather lacking in competence and are not very reasonable. To be specific on this story, when Qualitipedia was on the verge of closing, DuchesstheSponge, a bureaucrat who had not contributed to the wiki in a year, attempted to close the wiki. After two failed attempts, he, for whatever reason, decided to abandon his plan to shut down the wiki and started legitimately contributing to it - however, I can't say the moderating has been particularly legitimate. Not long after returning to contributing, he edited the SMG4 page and removed "War of the Fat Italians 2021" from the list of good episodes and moved it to the list of bad episodes without any good explanation - he just said "fuck WOTFI 2021" ([1]). When a user reverted this, he reverted them and gave no further reasoning to his actions ([2]). In addition to this, he also created a page on the SML video "Jeffy's 18th Birthday," which I put up for deletion because I felt it would fit better on Terrible SML Videos Wiki. However, Duchess reverted my edit with no explanation ([3]). I then created a topic on his talk page, questioning these two edits along with his apparent rule about the necessity of plainlinks, but he ignored me for a while, before eventually deleting the topic because it was "making him uncomfortable," which, to me, is just pure ignorance ([4]).

Meanwhile, thePCGamer, an administrator, is another staff member who has shown a lack of competence. Before DuchesstheSponge even closed the thread mentioned above, they marked the thread as resolved before Duchess could even answer, even though it was not their concern what was going on ([5]). Although I cannot prove exactly what they said due to Duchess deleting the topic, I believe their reasoning for closing the thread was that I was "annoying everyone," even though I was asking Duchess questions I believe are important. When I added a second topic about Duchess' behaviour due to his previous complete ignorance, thePCGamer again closed it, questioning why I had to keep asking questions when Duchess doesn't want to reply, and my reasoning why I have to do that is because there is no good reason he doesn't want to reply - it is realistically laziness. After a while, they blocked me because I am asking questions that "nobody seems to care about" ([6]). When another user questioned this, they claimed that I stalked someone with no evidence, and also used many of the same lazy excuses they and Duchess constantly use. Raidarr and other users thankfully defended me, though thePCGamer has not yet ended their tactics, as they have again closed a thread unrelated to them since.

Pacsonic9000, the owner of AMYTW, although not as bad as Duchess and thePCGamer, still has their issues. They added me to the admin blacklist because I was "annoying" and thought that links and images don't qualify as evidence (which I have reasons for, also I never said links don't qualify as evidence), and also later said I had stalked Duchess (which again, there is no evidence of) and "made him uncomfortable" (which is quite pathetic) and also criticised me for adding Duchess' rant to the New Reception Wiki, which proves that they cannot handle people criticising Duchess, and also called me out on trying to revive Qualitipedia even though the RFC did not directly prevent people from doing that, nor did it necessarily attempt to do so ([7], [8]). They also deleted a topic on their talk page questioning their actions ([9]), and marked a thread as resolved because I was "annoying," even though the thread was months ago anyway.

I am reporting this here because I have not been able to make any negotiations with the staff, and therefore I now see the only option is reporting it here. Money12123 (contribs | CentralAuth) 00:01, 10 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I should also note I opened a discussion regarding their rights (this), but that has generated little discussion, despite a topic notice being posted on PCGamer and Duchess' talk page. --Blad (talkcontribsglobal) 20:17, 10 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Agent Isai: Do you have any comment here? Money12123 (contribs | CentralAuth) 23:18, 14 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Money12123: I'm not quite sure what you're asking us to do here. Either way, the general rule is that local communities are responsible for electing their own administrators and Stewards would only intervene in internal matters if it's serious enough. Though these seem to be separate incidents which involve discretion so I'm not sure what Stewards could do, especially not knowing the policies and conventions on that specific wiki. What I would suggest would be to try to ask the users you mention to reply to this thread and explain their side of the story/explain why they took the actions they did. Otherwise I would note that administrators are accountable to their communities and shouldn't in any case try dismiss or hide dissent just because it makes them "uncomfortable". Reception123 (talk) (C) 13:10, 20 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Reception123: I highly doubt that would work. ThePCGamer constantly marks threads made my me as resolved even if it's another admin's thread and they don't request for it to be closed, and the other two are still likely to just resolve the subject with no direct response. Money12123 (contribs | CentralAuth) 00:42, 21 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Warn them against closing threads without valid reason and tell them Stewards are aware. Should they close another thread invalidly for the sake of suppressing local legitimate feedback, raise it up in this thread and we'll send them a message. @Agent Isai: That's reasonable, I suppose. Money12123 (contribs | CentralAuth) 23:03, 21 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Request for Dormancy Policy ExemptionEdit

Hello, I would like to request my wiki be added to the exemption list. It's a wiki that houses my writing and I'm the only one that's working on it. I was hoping this wiki would be around long after I'm gone so that people can continue to read my stuff. I admit that I haven't been as active there, but life has kept me busy and I haven't had time to add more of my writings there. I also haven't had time to write anything new and my wiki was closed because of it. I've reopened it, but I'm worried about losing my wiki and all of my writing if I'm unable to return to it. It's meant to be read rather than edited and I would be very grateful if you would grant me a permanent exemption for it.

Here is the link to my wiki if you'd like to view it. Thank you for your time. TheRainRogue (talk) 07:06, 23 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Bumping/replying so that someone else sees this in the recent changes feed, looks like a request that should be reviewed Collei (talk) 19:31, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Issue regarding QualitipediaEdit

I noticed that all of the Qualitipedia wikis are now deleted. I have a couple of problems with this:

  1. Usually, wikis are deleted within six months of closure. The Qualitipedia wikis were closed on September 27, 2022, and I first noticed this deletion on January 23, 2023, which was probably January 22, 2023 in British time, which is only three months and five days.
  2. This includes Qualitipedia Meta, which was not even closed and there were still things to be done there. If you had at least just closed it, I wouldn't have such a problem, but I feel the content there is important and I was hoping it could eventually be moved to New Qualitipedia, which probably will not happen now, since you usually can't collect a dump file from a deleted wiki.
  3. I was in the middle of archiving things on the Qualitipedia wikis so I had information about the wikis and could use it when necessary, and now I cannot do that.

Could you please do something about this? Thanks, Money12123 (contribs | CentralAuth) 20:44, 23 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

The RfC closure mandated it remain open for at least 3 months (this including Qualitipedia Central). As three months had passed, it was deleted as it was felt that that was more than enough time to archive whatever was needed and to download the XML dumps. The XML dumps are still live on if you wish to download them. Agent Isai Talk to me! 21:31, 23 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Agent Isai: Well, it should have been closed first so we at least had more of a warning. Money12123 (contribs | CentralAuth) 00:05, 24 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Money12123: The wikis have been closed for the past few months, as you noted since September 27. Wikis closed are able to be deleted per system administrator discretion, barring community consensus on certain topics. 3 months had passed, as the RfC mandated, on December 27, 2022, and the wikis could be deleted by SRE at any point without warning after that date. The XML dumps are still available on, as noted by Agent Isai. Our apologies for the inconvenience caused. If you require any further assistance, please feel free to reach out on my talk page. Thanks - BrandonWM (talkcontributionsglobalrights) 04:14, 24 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@BrandonWM: I was talking about Qualitipedia Meta. It was never closed. Money12123 (contribs | CentralAuth) 20:35, 24 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
All QP wikis had been closed. It was common sense that QP Meta would follow suit soon enough. Thanks - BrandonWM (talkcontributionsglobalrights) 04:02, 25 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@BrandonWM: Yes, but I feel it should have at least been closed and then deleted three months later. Money12123 (contribs | CentralAuth) 23:10, 25 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Money12123: I get that. However, what's done is done, and it was done with the consultation of the Qualitipedia community and at the discretion of Stewards. This discussion doesn't really have more to add other than venting, so I suggest we end it here. Thanks - BrandonWM (talkcontributionsglobalrights) 23:43, 25 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Request for Admin on inactive WikiEdit

(When I requested a CountryHumans OC Wiki, it was declined saying that there was already one. When I tried to contact the owner, (using the link given) the Main Page was deleted. I tried to contact the owner/Bureau, but it kept saying that my edits were going to show publicly once it was approved.) I used a little trick I know to find them on other Wikis, and I contacted them on a very active Wiki. (They have only made five Global Edits, four of them on the Wiki)

That was four days ago, and no answer. I gave them very big details on what I would want, and what I would do.

(When the Wiki was declined, it said that I could request to become an Admin on Wiki if it wasn't active.)

What I'm saying is that I would like to become an Admin or even a new Bureaucrat, and "Adopt" the Wiki.

Please follow the process outlined on the Local elections page to gain Bureaucrat rights on that wiki
--NotAracham (talkcontribsglobal) 22:14, 25 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I would like to run a local election, but I cannot edit on that Wiki. It always says when you press Save Changes,

Success: your edit has been sent to moderation. You can continue editing your version of this page."

This happens with every edit I make; so I can't actually edit the Wiki. So, where would I have the election, and is there a way you can shut that off? (So other users who would want to edit and I could edit) Commetia (talk) 23:41, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

At this point, private/niche wiki rules for local elections may need to apply... hmmm.
@Agent Isai and @Reception123, thoughts?
  • User's request was denied under CP11 as duplicate of wiki scope
  • Existing wiki has had no major content added since creation, but wiki is still live
  • Owner of existing wiki is non-responsive
  • Existing wiki is public, but Moderation extension prevents running of a local election
--NotAracham (talkcontribsglobal) 00:08, 28 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I should note that my wiki was approved, despite technically being a duplicate of, due to the wiki being entirely abandoned and having no contributions, along with having a vague/incorrect subdomain and name. Collei (talk) 00:53, 28 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

grant crate as successful requestEdit

hello, my request for crate has been a successful request and i am requesting for a steward to grant me crate more than 3 months have passed btw

MY account Cocopuff2018 (talk) 12:45, 25 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Wiki created not properlyEdit

I was not added into the bureaucrat and sysop user groups after my wiki was created. Also, the default mainpage was not created. Zes M Young (talk) 06:49, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

translation: Perhaps I should create a new section to comment on this, but I had a similar problem and would like to report it in this section. I am not getting sysop and bureaucrat privileges on the new wiki, is this bullying? --1108-Kiju/Talk 22:43, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

@Zes M Young: @野菜って大事だよね: So, firstly, I would just like to say it is not bullying. I promise that we're not intentionally removing you from the bureaucrat roles. There is currently an issue with our CreateWiki code. Until that issue is resolved, wiki creations were meant to be on hold so errors like yours didn't occur. Your wiki was created in error, and now it's completely blank. In a few hours, we'll begin the process of fixing all these wikis and their permissions. I would like to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. I completely understand that it's odd and confusing, I promise we'll have more information (and a fix) soon. If you need anything, please feel free to reply to this topic or leave a message on my talk page. Thanks - BrandonWM (talkcontributionsglobalrights) 07:08, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
translation: I see. So there was a bug like that. I'll wait until I can do it until I get permission. Even if I don't have the permission, it is still my wiki. --1108-Kiju/Talk 22:49, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@野菜って大事だよね: Haha I've been using Google Translate. Evidently, it hasn't been working great. Anywho, yes, it is just a bug. Hopefully it is resolved soon, and you'll definitely have your rights on the wiki as soon as possible. Thanks - BrandonWM (talkcontributionsglobalrights) 07:41, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
