Requests for Username Review under Username Policy

This page is for requesting a review of a username under the Username Policy.

A request here can only be opened under the following circumstances:

Following a request sent to stewardsmiraheze.org to appeal a lock under the Username Policy.
By a Steward to determine appropriate action if they are unsure how to proceed.

Notes:

A request must remain open for at least 7 days.
The closing Steward should immediately implement the decision.
A decision must have at least 75% support to pass.
Sanctions under the Code of Conduct and Terms of Use can only be appealed to the Stewards and Trust and Safety respectively.

The closure of a request on this noticeboard may only be appealed to the Stewards.

Comments: Dyingisfunny is my default handle, I've been using it for a decade+. I wasn't trying to be edgy or a troll, just used it out of habit without realizing this place has stricter rules than others. I just had a new wiki approved but my group can't put our stuff on it because the only registered bureaucrat for it is Dyingisfunny, so please if you can't unlock that account then at least transfer all of the powers to this new account I'm using right now for appealing, https://meta.miraheze.org/wiki/User:Dying — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dying (talk • contribs)

@Dying and Dyingisfunny: I've notified the actioning Global Sysop, @Reception123:, and they will respond in kind to your good-faith appeal when they are no longer mobile. @Dying and Dyingisfunny: You may be interested to note that RfC/U is considered your first appeal avenue after e-mailing stewardsmiraheze.org. So, you might wish to consider e-mailing this request, which appears to be good-faith, to stewards, and see what they say. You may well not need to appeal to either the community or the CoCC.
