Community noticeboard
- This noticeboard is community discussions, generally global in nature or which relate to specific wikis or users. For requests that require Stewards', or, in a limited number of circumstances, Global Sysops', intervention, please see stewards' noticeboard. If in doubt, please try here first, and you will be directed there if the matter requires a Steward.
On Community noticeboard, you can:
- Start a community discussion, generally global in nature or which relates to specific wiki(s)
- Solicit volunteers' assistance to help maintain or write content for your wiki
- Ask questions with both the global community and system administrators about either Miraheze or some technical aspect of MediaWiki on your wiki
- Request changes to your wiki's local interwiki table, including change(s) to locally override one or more of the global interwiki table (located on Meta) prefix configurations
If you would like to:
- Request a configuration change for your wiki that cannot be done in ManageWiki on your wiki, request a new extension, or to report any software or deployed extension glitches/bugs, please use Phabricator, and login using your MediaWiki account on Miraheze
- Request for oversighting, please e-mail
stewards miraheze.org instead. The e-mail should contain the URL(s) of the target edit revision(s)
- Request to rename your account, please use Special:GlobalRenameRequest instead
- Request global permissions requiring a community discussion or which are only granted by steward discretion (such as global interwiki administrator, Global Sysop, or a global IP block exemption), please see Requests for global rights
- Adopt a closed wiki (excluding manually closed wikis), please see Requests for adoption
- Request that a Meta administrator warn or sanction a blatantly disruptive or spam only account (on Meta), please see Meta:Administrators' noticeboard
- Request permissions on Meta requiring a community discussion (such as wiki creator, Meta administrator, Meta bureaucrat, or a bot account (on Meta)), please see Meta:Requests for permissions
- Request user group permissions (inclusive of autopatrolled, patrollers, confirmed, rollbacker, or translation administrator) in order to help with certain tasks (also on Meta only), please see Meta:Administrators' noticeboard
