This noticeboard is only for requests that require Stewards', or, in a limited number of circumstances, Global Sysops' intervention. If in doubt, please try the Community noticeboard first, and you will be directed here if the matter requires a Steward.

On the Stewards' noticeboard, you can request...

  • ...a Steward or Global Sysop lock a spam only or vandalism only account. Note that for vandalism only accounts, the vandalism must meet the global standard definition for vandalism and to be a vandalism only account, there must be no or almost no constructive editing behaviour and, additionally, this behaviour should be occurring on multiple wikis
  • ...additional permissions on your wiki(s) that can only be granted by a Steward, such as local interwiki administrator following a successful election
  • ...a page requiring the bigdelete user right (more than 1,000 revisions) be deleted on your wiki
  • ...a Dormancy Policy exemption for your wiki

or report...

  • ...a Username Policy violation (whether in good-faith or bad faith)
  • ...a user suspected of abusing multiple accounts per the User accounts policy. You must link to specific revisions from both the suspected master and illegitimate alternate account(s)
  • ...systemic Code of Conduct problems occurring by one or more user(s) on one or more wiki(s) and/or systemic Content Policy violations on one or more wiki(s). In either case, your report must link to specific revisions and, in the latter case, your report must be both thorough and comprehensive

If you would like to request...

Request for Undeletion of Rothwell Wiki

Following this wiki request, which cannot be created as the rothwellwiki database name still exists as a deleted wiki, I confirmed it is still at Special:ManageWiki/core/rothwellwiki. I have separately confirmed they were the local bureaucrat at the time of the wiki's deletion, as per the original wiki request. So, could any steward please kindly undelete this wiki for @Rothwell:? Thank you. Dmehus (talk) 22:01, 25 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes check.svg Wiki undeleted by @Void: per this request. @Rothwell:, your wiki has been undeleted. You should be able to manage your wiki again. Dmehus (talk) 22:10, 25 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I'm unable to edit the wiki as it says:
"You do not have permission to edit this page, for the following reason:
The action you have requested is limited to users in the group: Users."
This is despite me being logged in and checking I was part of "Users". Can you offer any guidance? Rothwell (talk) 19:33, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I managed to fix it by adjusting who could edit the wiki.
I think it's sorted for now! Rothwell (talk) 19:40, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Rothwell: Ah, Yes check.svg great! Yes, this would do it. Glad you got it sorted out, and your wiki is back in business. Dmehus (talk) 05:54, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request for local interwiki administrator of Kubu Wiki

Sorry I forgot to write this in my request, thanks LilyLilyu - smile.svg (Lilypond Wiki · talk and I will listen · my little garden) 16:49, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Lily: Due to some inconsistencies between the policy page and successive interwiki reform RfCs, it was somewhat unclear on what the requirements, exactly, were for local interwiki administrator. There is actually a 500 edit requirement on the wiki where requested for local interwiki administrator. While you don't meet that on your wiki, since you meet the global edit requirement, that criterion is satisfied. Nevertheless, there is actually supposed to be a local election held (which can be an election by acclamation), so would you be able to hold a local election by creating a local election page somewhere on the wiki? You can find more details on the process here. Once your local election has concluded in at least 5-7 calendar days, you can return to this thread, reply, and link to the election for a steward to assess. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 17:22, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Meantime, I remain available to add any interwiki prefixes for you on that wiki. Dmehus (talk) 17:22, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Dmehus: I have established a local election on the mainpage and hope that it fits the requirements LilyLilyu - smile.svg (Lilypond Wiki · talk to me · little garden · my wiki of everything) 18:14, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Lily: Yes check.svg Perfect! Did you need any interwiki prefixes added on that wiki before it concludes and rights are granted by a steward, or are you able to wait? Happy to help either way. Dmehus (talk) 19:19, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Dmehus: Local Interwiki prefix "lily" for Lilypond Wiki (transclusion + link) would be a real help now if it does not cause too much labor now, thank you very much LilyLilyu - smile.svg (Lilypond Wiki · talk to me · little garden · my wiki of everything) 19:55, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Lily: Not a problem. Yes check.svg Interwiki prefix added at kubu wiki. 20:06, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Lily: This Yes check.svg LGTM, as you've been declared locally elected by acclamation, so this will be Yes check.svg done following this reply. Dmehus (talk) 08:17, 5 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Local election on Daria Wiki assessment requested

The 7 days reserved for the DariaWiki admin election are finished, and I am the lead candidate. I request that this be acknowledged with admin access granted to me. Thank you.

Pagename WellTemperedClavier (talk) 23:48, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@WellTemperedClavier: Your users' voting syntax doesn't follow quite the standard conventions, since their votes are not signed, but nevertheless, any steward can verify the page's history and confirm individual votes, if so desired. Nevertheless, this Yes check.svg LGTM. I will try and remind a steward in a couple days to assess your local election for the position of sysop from the looks of it. Dmehus (talk) 23:53, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry to make you go through the extra step. Thanks! WellTemperedClavier (talk) 01:37, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, it should be Yes check.svg no problem at all, but thank you for the kind words. :) Dmehus (talk) 01:42, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
By the way @Dmehus, is sysop the same as admin? WellTemperedClavier (talk) 18:10, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@WellTemperedClavier: Yes, sysop is the group name for administrator, as it is referenced to that in the relevant database table(s). It is not the same as bureaucrat, but you can always hold a separate local election for that role later on, if so desired. Dmehus (talk) 18:23, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Done. -- Void Whispers 17:40, 30 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Am I now the sysop? WellTemperedClavier (talk) 18:25, 30 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Per user rights log, you have administrator rights on the wiki. So, yes! HeartsDo (Talk || Global || Wiki Creator) 18:36, 30 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! WellTemperedClavier (talk) 18:42, 30 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Local election on Athas Wiki assessment requested

I made a local election at and signaled the election making a banner in the main page with a link to the local election page: . In the rules I wrote for the election I established 7 calendar days and the local election is finished. I voted for me signing my vote, but there is no other voters. I request the corresponding steward check that election on Athas. Avengium (talk) 19:30, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Avengium: Okay, this Yes check.svg LGTM. A steward should assess your local election request in the next week, and grant the requested rights if successful. I will try and {{ping}} a steward in the next 2-3 days if not done by then. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 19:41, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good, closing. -- Void Whispers 17:42, 30 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request for Undeletion of Perl 6 Wiki

Could either of the stewards, being @NDKilla, John, and Void:, please undelete Perl 6 Wiki, which exists as a deleted wiki? There's been a request on IRC by a user in #miraheze connect not that long ago requesting this. Direct link to undelete is at Special:ManageWiki/core/perl6wiki. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 21:03, 29 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Also unclosed locally to prevent a re-deletion. -- Void Whispers 17:36, 30 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Inactive notice for active wiki

Probably related to wikis closed in error: is showing as inactive although there are multiple posts within the last 45 days.

We value the opportunity to have our wiki hosted here. Thanks! Chuck.Beckett (talk) 19:51, 30 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Chuck.Beckett: Thank you for your post, though this is out of scope of stewards. Secondarily, there's no indication this wiki was closed since the inadvertent wiki closure, which has since been resolved. Thus, as you are the local bureaucrat on the wiki, all you need to do is go into Special:ManageWiki and uncheck "inactive," and the notice should disappear. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 22:00, 30 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Also, I'm looking at the wiki, and I'm not actually noticing any local activity other than a single edit today. Is there some other activity present on the wiki that isn't obvious? -- Void Whispers 22:20, 30 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I cannot access my wiki Yandross

I don't know if it's been deleted or not, but whenever I try to access my wiki, it just loads a white page with nothing on it. I can't access the Special:ManageWiki page and for all intents and purposes, the thing doesn't seem to exist anymore.

Here's where it (used) to be Drexanz (talk) 04:15, 1 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Drexanz: It doesn't look like it's been deleted, but there's something technically wrong, so I've referred this to system administrators on Discord. Feel free to join there, if you wish. If not, though, one of them should reply to this thread. Dmehus (talk) 04:50, 1 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, thank you. I'll wait around here for an answer to the problem. Drexanz (talk) 04:51, 1 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Just stating that I can access the wiki again. All looks well. Drexanz (talk) 07:31, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Great, I'm also able to access it! Please feel free to let us know if you have any issues again, though preferably on Community noticeboard as such technical issues aren't something stewards need to respond to. Reception123 (talk) (C) 09:46, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I hereby request a CheckUser on these users involved in recent vandalism attacks based on their edits on the Best TV Shows Wiki

I have a reason to believe that sockpuppetry is somehow involved here considering these edit summaries:

RhinosF1 wanted me to request it here on the Stewards Noticeboard in case you're wondering. DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) 20:00, 1 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If any of the Stewards are seeing this, feel free to perform a CheckUser on the sockpuppets involved in multiple article vandalism attacks from the Best TV Shows Wiki and on the Terrible TV Shows Wiki. DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) 22:24, 1 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
For what it's worth, most stewards have likely seen this thread, and will take action, accordingly, if they feel it's warranted. Note that there may be no final resolution to your thread, either. Rest assured, though, they will review your report, and act in a manner as they feel is appropriate. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 22:26, 1 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Dmehus:, Thanks for reassuring me. I hope either @Void:, @NDKilla:, or @John: does something about it. DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) 22:32, 1 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Block this user

There's a user called AudiomachineForLife on Rotten Websites Wiki and he's spreading anti-pro life propaganda. Here's proof:

An edit he made:

An edit he made on a page he made:

Some proposals he made on Awful Movies Wiki that include defaming a pro-life movie:

Please delete the Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust page and block AudiomachineForLife. Nekoman (talk) 03:03, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have not looked in detail at the wiki or pages, but as a matter of principles Miraheze does not engage in censorship. A person is free to be "pro-life" or "pro-choice" and I do not think Miraheze should prevent users from expressing their opinions. This also looks like a request for blocking the user on that wiki so I think you should contact the local administrators there and they will decide to block or not. DeeM28 (talk) 11:50, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Nekoman: Hi, I took a look, and as DeeM28 has said we do not censor users, as long as they do not violate our Global Policies. Judging by the links you’ve provided, I see no reason for a Global Sysop or Steward to act. Zppix (Meta | Sysadmin | talk to me) 12:51, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Nekoman: They were from April and onward before you made this report. In other words, if it was still going, then that would be different. DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) 13:16, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Zppix: If you guys don't like censorship, then why did you guys close Atrocious YouTubers Wiki, Toxic Fandoms and Hatedoms Wiki, Incredible Wikis and Users Wiki, and Unfavorable Wikis and Users Wiki? Nekoman (talk) 21:18, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Nekoman: That's a very different case. In that case, and similar ones, local wiki bureaucrats repeatedly chose to ignore steward and Global Sysop warnings to deal with their local wiki administrators and users who harassed other users in block and edit summaries and with unsourced potentially libelous statements, thus contravening Content Policy in a systemic way. Dmehus (talk) 21:20, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Dmehus: From what I have seen, they were never intended to harass users however the Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust page is biased and defamatory and one of AudiomachinneForLife's edit summary said "More to show that Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust is evil and should be terminated". Nekoman (talk) 03:41, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Nekoman: Could you please give us more details about what makes you say that the page is defamatory? And it has been asked above already, but have you tried contacting the local administrators about this issue first? In addition, the definition of defamatory is "the action of damaging the good reputation of someone", so I don't think it's possible for a movie to be defamed. The only way that it would be violating our Content Policy is if the page is spreading "unsubstantiated insult, hate or rumours against [...] a group of people". You are free to provide us with more justification as to why you think this is violating the Content Policy, but please do try to contact the local sysops first. does this have to do with the domain change?

after I had the domain of my wiki changed, members of the wiki have reported being unable to log in. I was unable to log in for a while too but eventually got back in, but the other members still can't log in. does this issue have to do with the domain change? is there anything you can do to fix it? XXSeph MySpaceXx (talk) 15:08, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@XXSeph MySpaceXx: I'm not certain exactly, but the problem is likely cookie related. If you recently had cause to clear all of your web browser's cookies or were just routinely clearing all web browsing history (including cookies), then yes, this would log you out. Try and always make sure you see your username in the top menu of any wiki before posting. Should you have any login issues in the future, you can always e-mail system administrators at tech(at), and they'll be happy to look into it for/with you. Nevertheless, I have updated your signature above to reference your logged in username, and have revision deleted the intervening revisions. Thanks. How come everytime I try and give my new account user rights nothing works. What the heck is going on? I have no idea 2.0 (talk) 20:02, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@I have no idea 2.0: Hi. It's quite difficult to get what exactly the issue is from your message. Do you mean you have created a new account and are trying to assign rights to it? If so, on which wiki? And what do you mean by "nothing works"? Reception123 (talk) (C) 20:09, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This is possibly related to @I have no idea:'s creating a second account in @I have no idea 2.0: (permalink to discussion). If that's the case, then they would need to grant rights to their second account from the first account. If that's not the case, then we need more clarification here as @Reception123: said. 502 error preventing me from adding activity to wiki

I cannot access once logged in and I get either a 500 or a 502 error. I suspect this has to do with previous inactivity. Tznkai (talk) 17:23, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Tznkai: Please advise if this issue is still ongoing. If so, then you will need to create a ticket on Phabricator for system administrators to investigate. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 22:42, 5 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Issue is ongoing and I have opened a ticket. I am obviously unable to solve the inactivity problem --Tznkai (talk) 02:53, 7 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Tznkai: Okay, sorry to hear about the server-side 502 errors, but you did the right thing by opening a Phabricator ticket. This is now being handled at #T6551 on Phabricator. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 03:35, 7 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Rotten Websites Wiki is restoring biased pages from Atrocious YouTubers Wiki

Here is evidence and (talk) 19:59, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@IvanTheGreat: This will need more than that. Note that biased pages are not problematic. Unsourced, potentially libelous information is. I'd suggest you compose, offline, a substantive and exhaustive report to stewards on how the wiki is violating Content Policy and e-mail it to stewards(at) as these ad nauseam two line reports on stewards' noticeboard are tiresome. Dmehus (talk) 20:08, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I guess you want your website filled with those reception wikis that ruin your reputation, that's fine with me. IvanTheGreat (talk) 20:10, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@IvanTheGreat: Just listen and add in great detail why they violate certain policies if you are sure they do. If you complain and use the wrong language to describe why these pages may be "bad" then you won't get anywhere. Be specific and explain why, instead of accusing people of wanting to keep possibly problematic wikis around when they said no such thing. If you want an outcome then work for it. Waldo (talk) 20:55, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

CheckUser Request for IvanTheGreat and Rolling1975

The reason why I am requesting this now is because both of them seem to be wanting our wikis gone so badly without any evidence of any kind, as some of you guys might be aware of what I'm talking about. Here are some clues that I have gathered to pinpoint who it might be:

Is anyone noticing a pattern coming along here? If so, then those 2 users should be examined right away based on behavioral evidence that I have provided. DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) 20:51, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Dmehus: Anybody gonna respond to this? DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) 17:37, 5 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@DarkMatterMan4500: While I do see a lot of behavioural similarities in the users, I personally don't feel there's an urgency here since I warned IvanTheGreat on Meta, in my capacity as a Meta administrator not to continue is disruption and to abide by user accounts policy. If disruption continues, then perhaps there will be a greater need. And, of course, any steward may have a different opinion than me here, and can take any action as they feel is warranted. Hope that helps. Dmehus (talk) 21:21, 5 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Global lock request for "ネイ"

This is a cross wiki abuse. Also, This account is spoofing on the kerokerowikiwwiki (The main page has been stolen from Tanukipedia, and this user is impersonating an administrator of Japanese Wikipedia.). Please lock this account. SchwarzTalk / ウソペディア 03:26, 5 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@シュヴァルツ: Hopefully a staff member like @Void: or @Reception123: will respond to your report as soon as possible. DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) 14:28, 7 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
There's no need, really, to {{ping}} for these investigation reports on issues for which you were not involved. Stewards and Global Sysops have likely seen this thread. This will likely need further investigation, for which there would be several possible outcomes. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 14:39, 7 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

requesting removal of bureaucrat rights for 2 users on DF wiki

per here I would like the bureaucrat rights of MyBlueDiamond and Kevbo182 to be removed.

As seen here Kevbo only requested sysop status so I believe Delta's giving them crat rights was a mistake.

I think that is also the case with MBD who has been inactive for over a year as seen here.

I recently removed Kevbo's rights for altering my block without explanation but I will be unable to enforce anything if they realize they can just re-promote themselves due to this oversight.

If Delta disagrees with this, they could of course repromote the users by retaining the crat rights, but I just think Delta has been busy or like me is unable to reverse the mistake, so has tried to avoid drawing attention to it.

That's mostly what I did until this recent editing conflict at which point I feel the need to reach out to ask for external intercession. ty 23:55, 5 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Tycio: Per my comment at Meta talk:Bureaucrats, Okay, this is by design, as intentionally, stewards are supposed to be called upon to remove the bureaucrat bit from user(s) on the local wiki when requested on stewards' noticeboard. I was conferring with @Void and NDKilla: on the course of action to take. Though not great that you took the action yourself, as I feel like steward review of the circumstances between the local dispute would've been helpful, it's probably okay, and it's good you reverted the change in Special:ManageWiki/permissions. To your last question, you can view changes performed in ManageWiki using Special:Log/managewiki. Dmehus (talk) 02:45, 6 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Just a short bit of clarification here. If we didn't want bureaucrats to have the ability to remove other bureaucrats, then it just plain simply wouldn't be possible, even with ManageWiki access. We are fine with wikis setting up their permissions hierarchies in whatever way they see fit. However, we do reserve the right for community consensus (through some official moderation venue) to be able to overturn these structures and decisions (within reason). I don't actually see anything wrong with what you've done, nor is it objectionable. Although, if I do look at this issue from the community consensus side of things, it still does look appropriate, given that at least two other users complained about Kevbo's actions prior to removal, giving at least some precedence to the idea that this is supported by the community. -- Void Whispers 18:23, 6 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

interwiki-admin for reviwikiwiki

Can I have interwiki-admin for I am the only crat of the wiki, there's no community - only person who is authorized to edit on this wiki (beside me) is User:Dmehus, and I'd be shocked if he object this one :P

  • Hold bureaucrat rights on the local wiki: yes
  • Have had a Miraheze account for (a) at least two (2) weeks prior to requesting or (b) the two (2) month global user longevity requirement above: Registered: 2015-08-04
  • Have made either (a) 500 edits on the local wiki where requested or (b) the 1,000 global edit requirement above: Total edits: 2,149 (2150 with this edit)
  • Comply with any additional local rules governing the selection of local interwiki administrators
    • Be involved in some way in community matters (in discussions on Community Noticeboard, etc.): Former sysadmin, currently idling TA.
    • Have at least 1000 total global edits on Miraheze (on more than one wiki) (Note: These edits may not consist of directly copy/pasting content from other wikis, they must be edits done by the user): Metawiki: 1516(+1) edits

Thanks. — revi 15:21, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Revi: You definitely meet the global or local interwiki administrator requirements without any issue. The only real issue is the holding of a local election on the local wikis. After conferring with @John: on this, the election could technically occur anywhere (whether on each wiki or here) and, as you note, I'm essentially the only user who has participated in your public wiki (your private wiki has no community other than you, essentially), so the fact of me closing this request would be an implied local community support. That's a bit involved, sure, but on the same hand, that really is only a convention that elections should be open for three to seven calendar days. At the same time, anyone with any objection to it would have to say that the election was not in keeping with the consensus of the local wikis' community. So, with that, this is Yes check.svg done. Weird accounts are showing up on our wikis

As of late, some of our admins have been making exhaustive blocks on accounts that could be possible sock/spam accounts. One primary example would be the one on Crappy Games Wiki. There's like 30+ accounts with some information mostly ending with some gibberish at the end of their names on their personal information that can be found on their user pages. Here's an example of one of them: Also, could someone please investigate the User Creation logs on there as well? Link: And by the way, I'm not the only one who thinks something is really wrong with how these users are using similar patterns of usernames. Oh, and one more thing, these accounts have been getting created within 5 to 15 minutes. DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) 18:08, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

PowerJack 25 UTTP The Animator & Gamer

PowerJack 25 UTTP The Animator & Gamer is an American youtuber who joined YouTube sometime in 2019, he got terminated several times, he is also know as AndyTheCBCKidsFan, he is infamous for the reasons below, as of December 2020, his username is Jimbo

Why He's HORRENDOUSLY ATROCIOUS/Why He Needs To Get Off The Internet/Why He Needs To Get Arrested

(Late 2020)

1. He has impersonated several users(Andrew Orozco, GA BRiCKS, etc) what's worse is that he posts inappropriate comments

2. He's a cyberbully, he never leaves anyone alone

3. He can't take even the slightest amount of criticism of any kind of existence, whenever someone criticizes him, he would scream and wish death upon his haters, he would also impersonate the user who criticized him

4. He used copyrighted material just to make user videos out of people, this should have given him copyright strikes

5. He's 15 years old, however he acts more like a 5 year old, making him a huge immature teenager

6. He would sometimes send porn links to various users(especially minors)

7. He triggered several users, and Conner The Sushi Packer made a video about him

8. He forces people to watch Johnny Test, your not the boss you know

9. He keeps calling people the N word, very racist much

10. He's also homophobic as he would call his viewers the F slur

11. He's very abusive to his viewers even his best friends

(2019 - October 2020)

1. He never stop copying almost everyone's videos, he would even say it was requested by various users, and would say it was inspired by them, dude do you not know the difference between inspiration and copying, there is

2. He's a hypocrite, he told a user named HH ! Motions not to copy videos yet he copies videos himself

3. He tells lies, he lied about appearing in Andrew Orozco 4

4. He delays his movies so many times, speaking of which he doesn't know how to make real films as he rushes his films and say he's gonna make them in 5 days for example

5. He would always use copyrighted sound effects in his videos which mentioned before, which is getting annoying

6. As mentioned he claims that people requests his videos when he didn't

7. He got terminated several times, but he keeps coming back, if you get terminated you know you should not make new accounts

8. He apologizes but he keeps doing the same crap over again

1. He seems to never learn from his mistakes

2. As mentioned he uses copyright material

Redeeming Qualities

1. He was a better user back then although he was still terrible

2. His videos (now deleted) we're so bad they're good

How to deal with him

1. Report his videos, YouTube may take it down or age restrict it

2. Ignore him or you'll get in trouble — Preceding unsigned comment added by HH!MagicalReviewer (talkcontribs) 18:12, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

My resignation of Wiki Creator rights

Hello, today I humbly request to have my wiki creator rights taken away as I do believe I'm not active enough to retain them. I am thankful that the community entrusted me with them to start with though. Thank you Hypercane (talk) 22:17, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request for global lock of alternative account

Having lost my original email for this account (Anderlaxe), I asked someone (I believe it was Rhinos) to open this account to allow me to continue contributing.

However, I recovered my account, and therefore the account above should be locked or deleted.

Thanks -- Anderlaxe (talk) 00:40, 10 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Anderlaxe: I do see that RhinosF1 created Bitwise for you in this log action; however, I do note that the request was unconfirmed, I would be more confident if you could please login to Bitwise, requesting a password reset via e-mail if needed, and confirm the request for a self-requested lock. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 00:47, 10 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Anderlaxe: I haven't heard anything back from you. Can you please login to Bitwise and confirm that is your alternate account? If you have forgotten Bitwise's account password, you should be able to request a password reset to your registered e-mail address. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 04:28, 12 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Could someone perform a CheckUser on accounts related to Cheddarman?

These accounts NotCheddarman and Cheddarman 2 The Electric Boogaloo could be related. If it's necessary, go right ahead (without fishing of course, as it's not a fishing expedition) Could they be related as Cheddarman was previously locked for long-term abuse? DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) 15:56, 10 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request a Dormancy Policy exemption for my original character wiki

Hello, I'd like to request a Dormacy Policy exemption for my original character wiki, this wiki is made to be read (especially for my friends). On the other hand, because of my academic career I haven't so much spare time to edit it. So I'd like to apply for exemption on DP. Thanks.

The wiki I mentioned is this: NKNK'sOCs wiki.

@MrJaroslavik: Pictogram voting wait.svg Assessing these requests. Should be done shortly. Dmehus (talk) 17:52, 10 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@MrJaroslavik: While we are quite liberal in granting Dormancy Policy exemption requests, sesupportwiki is a bit light content wise, with only about 8-10 content pages in its main and project namespaces. Nevertheless, as you are an active community volunteer, wiki creator, and Global Sysop and because the two wikis are used together as quick reference guides for, presumably, your volunteer work as a Twitch streaming platform moderator, I've decided to Yes check.svg grant the two requests, each for the following reason:
  • Volunteer (Wiki creator and Global Sysop), content is used as quick reference guides to a small audience, and the wiki does not expect many users to edit.
With regard to your wiki deletion requests, ordinarily we'd prefer to let Dormancy Policy take care of these, but seeing as they're both essentially duplications of your two remaining requests, these will also be Yes check.svg done. Dmehus (talk) 18:33, 10 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, here is some explanation: sesupportwiki will be internal used for simplification of support at StreamElements and mrjaroslavikwiki for my personal things, guides not related with StreamElements services and maybe something for my friends. Deletion was because my clean-up today. Also I requested removal of my unneeded rights on two wikis.--MrJaroslavik (talk) 18:53, 10 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@MrJaroslavik: Okay, thank you for clarifying. Yeah, the wiki deletions seemed like pretty non-controversial wiki cleanup essentially. Regarding the rights removals, I don't see that, but the next time the wiki deletion script is run, the deleted wikis will be removed from your CA. Did you still want me to remove the rights from the deleted wikis? Dmehus (talk) 18:57, 10 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@LordOfSpaghetti: Firstly, welcome to Meta and to Miraheze. Secondly, (Please sign your posts on talk pages by using four tildes like this: ~~~~.). And finally, can you clarify what you mean by you needing a "user confirmation"? Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 11:23, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I can't enter or do anything in the pages, unless if I'm auto confirmed/confirmed.
This is what I see here:
==Permission Error==
You do not have permission to read this page, for the following reason:
The action you have requested is limited to users in one of the groups: Confirmed users, Members, Administrators.
LordOfSpaghetti (talk) 12:15, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@LordOfSpaghetti: you should request for the Confirmed user group to that wiki's local administrators or bureaucrats. They have modified their wiki's permissions and made it so that only users in any of the groups Confirmed, Member or Administrator can read or edit it. Thank you. R4356th (talk) 12:28, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@LordOfSpaghetti: Thank you for the clarification, as that was the sort of detail needed to ascertain your problem. To answer your question, which will be to echo what @R4356th: said as well, you would need to contact any local administrator from Special:ListUsers/sysop on the wiki. However, since it sounds like that wiki is a private wiki, you will not be able to do that as that special page is unavailable to you. Can you tell me which wiki this is, so I can see if I can reach out to the local bureaucrat? Dmehus (talk) 15:24, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Lock Peter Parker for being a sockpuppet of LeroyManTheFirst (Please notice this headfirst)

Within a span of 3 or 4 days now, I had some suspicions that Peter Parker was a sock of LeroyManTheFirst, and just like that, my suspicions were confirmed, with behavioral evidence on some of his contributions:,_Dog%27s_Friends_(CatDog)&diff=prev&oldid=4457

And here are some of his comments that could be proven to be even MORE suspicious than ever: (This part is important as LeroyManTheFirst has also said the exact same thing a little while back.),_8-9,_12-present)#comment-3235

If you look at his activities on multiple wikis, you will notice a pattern.

I hope either @Dmehus and Reception123: or @Void and John: could have a look at some of the evidence that I have gathered, including the comments that could lead directly to him. DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) 17:46, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@DarkMatterMan4500: Thank you for including links to diffs, which are required for such reports; however, there's a few problems with this report. Firstly, and most important, you haven't linked to a single diff from LeroyManTheFirst. Secondarily, and equally importantly, the first two diffs are hardly even vandalism; even if construed as vandalism, it's a common deletion tagging, which is easily reverted, the user warned, and user locally blocked. It is run of the mill evidence nonetheless which cannot conclusively point to the two users being connected. And finally, and no less importantly than the first two points, those are constructive comments. I don't see anything that needs to be done here, to be honest. Dmehus (talk) 17:53, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Dmehus: Does this username ring a bell, or no? Also, for the other things you have mentioned, some of his edit summaries are rather insults, which is something that LeroyManTheFirst himself has done before. DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) 17:56, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I could ping @SpazJR61 and DeciduousWater534: to maybe even give you some of the stuff that LeroyManTheFirst has done. DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) 17:59, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply] Check the Sonic Forces part, where he insults me then deleting his comment afterwards. SpazJR61 18:14, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
X mark.svg Not done per my comments above, and because Peter Parker is Yes check.svg locally blocked on every wiki, save one, which the user has contributed to. Any other steward may override this decision, if they wish, but for the above reasons, I see no need for the account to be locked, nor has sufficient behavioural evidence been presented. Dmehus (talk) 18:24, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thanks anyway @Dmehus:. DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) 19:15, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request Dormancy Policy Exception for Vise Wiki ("Wikis made to be read, where a lot of information is already on wiki and doesn't need to be actively edited.")

This wiki I believe matches the Dormancy Policy Exception of "Wikis made to be read, where a lot of information is already on wiki and doesn't need to be actively edited.": Dayid (talk) 20:22, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Are any of these accounts related to No?

While those 3 accounts have been blocked locally on the Rotten Websites Wiki, their "real" name really caught my attention on all 3 accounts:

If you notice, their names have the exact same name of an already blocked user "No".

Also, while one of them did vandalize the Rotten Websites Wiki, I think those 3 accounts were intended to vandalize and not contribute to anything positive, such as this edit right here:

Please let me know if they are related or not, as I don't want to jump the gun too quickly. DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) 20:32, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm surprised no one has responded yet, given that it has been 2 hours since it was posted. DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) 22:23, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

All The Tropes - spam flood and request for Checkuser

I have just had to change user rights on All The Tropes so that non-Confirmed users cannot create new pages. This is because we have received more spam in the form of new pages in the last 24 hours than we received in any form for the two weeks preceding.

There has also been an excessive number of new accounts created on All The Tropes in the last two weeks, compared to the number of accounts that are usually created on the wiki in comparable timeframes. At a rough guess, there have been anywhere from 10 to 20 times as many accounts being created so far in December as there were in all of October.

We request Checkuser on all new accounts created in the last two weeks at All The Tropes. Since it is extremely rare for anyone on this wiki to have more than one account (and the second account would be for a bot and have the appropriate rights), anyone with more than three accounts may safely be assumed to be a spammer. Special:Log/newusers.

--Robkelk (talk) 20:50, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Robkelk: I can lock a bunch of the spambots, but would prefer to leave the CheckUser portion of the request to @Void: or @NDKilla:, if that's alright, mainly because either of them are more experienced and will be faster at it. In the meantime, have you thought of enabling Moderation, which allows local administrators and any moderators to "approve" all "good" edits (i.e., those of non-autoconfirmed users)? It's one of the most effective spam prevention tools. Dmehus (talk) 21:07, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Dmehus: As an FYI, I suggested for @Robkelk: to bring it to the Stewards Noticeboard, just so you know. DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) 21:09, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, we don't have enough moderators to be able to keep up if we activate Moderation.
Also, since I changed the settings so that non-Confirmed users cannot create pages, we've been getting new accounts created at a rate of one every five minutes (when it's usually closer to one every six hours). I'm about to disable new user creation on All The Tropes just so we can catch our breaths and deal with the fallout of what's already happened.--Robkelk (talk) 21:15, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Confirmed spambots, all caught in the last hour:
  • Snakefowl42
  • Choi08molloy
  • Greecefreeze6
  • Floyd82mackinnon
  • Welchmcclure6
  • Greenbergenemark54
  • Amounttoe70
I don't know how many other new accounts are spambots, since I disabled new users' ability to create new pages. --Robkelk (talk) 21:26, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Robkelk: Sure, we can look into those spambots specifically. I'm just going through your AbuseLog and locking the spambots from the past two months that have been flooding your wiki's abuse logs. Regarding the Moderation extension, what I was suggesting is you could basically grant the moderator group to anyone you'd trust with rollbacker or even autopatrolled, really, to assist administrators in reviewing the queue. Something to think about, perhaps? Disabling new account creation on the wiki could be a good temporary measure, yes. Dmehus (talk) 21:34, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Robkelk: I've Yes check.svg locked 141 user accounts on allthetropeswiki from the abuse logs going back to 27 September 2020. I will take a look at the spambot page creations going back the past couple of weeks or so, and, ideally, have checked to see of NDKilla or Void are available to see if we can investigate the spambots and effect some additional rangeblocks to prevent, or slow, spambot account creation. Please do consider creating a local moderator group that could be granted to your wiki's more trusted contributors, as I think your community would likely support such a group in a local discussion on your forums, perhaps. Finally, if you would authorize it, I can {{ping}} stewards and Global Sysops to this thread to check your wiki at least once daily and revert any blatant spam user page creations, regardless of the length of time it's been waiting for local administrators to action, as we would likely be able to assist in this regard. You would, of course, specify the duration of this local authorization. Dmehus (talk) 22:37, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, 141 accounts? That's incredible. DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) 22:46, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the help. I've asked the other Bureaucrats and Administrators whether they want to institute Moderation; I expect to have a consensus on the matter by early next week. As for having Stewards and Global Sysops look in on the wiki, there might not be too much to look at while we have new account creation disabled... I'll let you know about this at the same time that we have a consensus to report on Moderation. --Robkelk (talk) 22:51, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
We have activated the Moderation extension, and given moderation rights to rollbackers and administrators. We've also re-activated account creation (although we've had two accounts created within two minutes of each other, both within ten minutes of reactivating account creation, so we're still on the spammers' radar. @Dmehus:, we'll take you up on the offer of having Stewards and Global Syops look in on the wiki regularly for the next 30 days, please. --Robkelk (talk) 17:41, 12 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I've detected spam on the Permanent Future Lab Wiki

Someone needs to remove all those spam articles as I have been marking them all for deletion, and there's no active local administrator even monitoring it at all. None of the articles they are making has anything to do with what the wiki is all about. Some of them are about hookups, toilets, and some of them have to do with irrelevant topics that has nothing to do with the scope of that wiki itself. What do you guys think of what should happen to the users who has been making articles with spammy links? All I know is that they are currently being deleted by @MrJaroslavik: at the moment, but shouldn't they be locked as well? They are clearly here to promote or mass advertise by spamming links to external sites. DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) 16:37, 12 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It appears that the Permanent Future Lab Wiki is going through the same issues with spam that All The Tropes is going through. --Robkelk (talk) 17:56, 12 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Robkelk: Same thing is occurring here too. DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) 18:01, 12 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@DarkMatterMan4500: Hi, for resume the situtation so far:
  • Dmehus has deleted pages and locked accounts who was spam on permanentfuturelabwiki, and he had changed the permission to edit main namespace to autoconfirmed (he left a message to the bureaucrat for notify this action), so we can say that wiki is now Yes check.svg under control.
  • Also, he do the same with madgendersciencewiki but for now, they have not changed the permission (pray that a local sysop/bureaucrat will come one day or not), but for now, we continue to monitor and delete/lock spam accounts, waiting for local sysop/bureaucrat or steward action.
HeartsDo (Talk / Global / Wiki Creator) 12:27, 13 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@HeartsDo: I am aware of that, since all the spambots are being Yes check.svg ripped to shreds even as we speak. DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) 12:33, 13 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
For the end of this spam apocalypse: Dmehus has changed permission to edit main namespace to autoconfirmed and left a message to the most recently active bureaucrat on madgendersciencewiki and openhatchwiki (a other wiki who has been spammed).
For now, we can say this is Yes check.svg Done! HeartsDo (Talk / Global / Wiki Creator) 18:07, 13 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
PS: I will continue to monitor the feed on IRC for ensure that not a other wiki is touched.

Can I reopen the Toxic Fandoms & Hatedoms Wiki?

I want to reopen the Toxic Fandoms & Hatedoms Wiki, but for some reason it won't let me. Any help here? Link to the wiki: Slater2001 (talk) 14:48, 13 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Slater2001: That wiki was closed by Stewards due to Code of Conduct and Content Policy violations. Please read this for more information. Additionally, you must be a bureaucrat to be able to reopen wikis. R4356th (talk) 14:57, 13 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Slater2001: A minor point to add to what @R4356th: articulated above already is that in this case, because the wiki was also locked, a steward is required to unlock the wiki, which isn't going to happen local administrators and bureaucrats repeatedly failed to heed warnings of global policies by global functionaries. So, at this point, it is just a matter of Dormancy Policy taking care of the wiki, with deletion expected some time in or around February 2021. Dmehus (talk) 15:12, 13 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Same thing with the Horrible Vyonders Wiki, to add to the topic of the Code of Conduct and the Dormancy Policy. DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) 19:29, 13 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Do you mind locking JackRuff3?

The reason why is because he is a sockpuppet of a ban evader, JackRuff, and thus the evidence presented here:,_9-present)&diff=prev&oldid=44956
