Should this wiki be closed now? The REQC about closing it has been around for a while now. Also, mh:dreadfulrestaurantsandfoodwiki:Dreadful Restaurants and Foods Wiki is closed, however is it possible that the mh:dreadfulrestaurantsandfoodwiki:Hungry Jack's page could be imported to the Chill Place if TigerBlazer is okay with it? I would like the page to be kept as it's about more than just the quality of the food and much rather the company overall. :FatBurn0000, there are definitely some pages (at least half) which violate Content Policy, some more seriously and others in a more mild way. In terms of your local RfC, which you only were able to get started due to my disabling the Moderation extension, to allow a community voice besides just the sole bureaucrat and administrator, there is a somewhat weak consensus in favour of either deletion or closure, renaming, and rebranding into a different wiki, focusing on crappy gachatube content/videos, as opposed to chiefly crappy gachatubers/persons, as it is now, looking strictly at the nosecount of four in favour of either deletion or closure, rename, and rebrand and two opposed, including the bureaucrat/sysop, FranciscoLol2009. Ordinarily, I might normally prefer locking the wiki and making it private such cases, to allow for the wiki to be rebranded and rebuilt, but since the original wiki request lacked clarity and specificity, with former wiki creator SA 13 Bro raising concerns, presumably, with respect to Content Policy and former wiki creator Amanda Catherine feeling it was "fine" and approving it (which, as an aside, is a bit ironic since Amanda Catherine was not one of the more liberal wiki creators and SA 13 Bro tended to be, at times, based on my observations). Secondarily, since FranciscoLol2009 has made only two edits and two log actions, one of which was to reinstate the Moderation extension despite not being sufficiently active enough to appropriately moderate edits from non-automoderated users wanting to participate in the discussion, I have no confidence any needed remediation would take place. Moreover, excluding redirects in <code>(Main)</code> namespace, non-Content Policy violation pages, and the local RfC, there were a grand total of less than 10 stub-class (or less) content pages. Thus, there would be no loss in content. Finally, I do feel any renamed and rebranded wiki request, from whoever wants to take it up, whether it be FatBurn0000, FranciscoLol2009, or someone else, should have to go through a more thorough vetting by wiki creators. Accordingly, this has been deleted. Dmehus (talk) 04:03, 23 April 2022 (UTC)

You're currently logged out. If you're having problems with your wiki, you need to login.

Looking to make a report regarding a specific user? In addition to being required to provide a thorough and complete report, you should also know that reports by anonymous or logged out users are not taken very seriously for a couple reasons, namely that:
1. We don't know who is making the report; and,
2. Western liberal democracies enshrine in a citizen's fundamental, constitutionally-enshrined legal rights the right to know and face one's accuser, and Miraheze is no different.

Accordingly, please kindly login. If you are unable to login, please e-mail sre(at)miraheze.org with your username and the specific error message you are receiving, and they will assist you, or direct you to other global functionaries where appropriate.

This noticeboard is only for requests that require Stewards', or, in a limited number of circumstances, Global Sysops' intervention. If in doubt, please try the Community noticeboard first, and you will be directed here if the matter requires a Steward.

On the Stewards' noticeboard, you can request...

 • ...a Steward or Global Sysop lock a spam only or vandalism only account. Note that for vandalism only accounts, the vandalism must meet the global standard definition for vandalism and to be a vandalism only account, there must be no or almost no constructive editing behaviour and, additionally, this behaviour should be occurring on multiple wikis
 • ...additional permissions on your wiki(s) that can only be granted by a Steward, such as local interwiki administrator following a successful election
 • ...a page requiring the bigdelete user right (more than 1,000 revisions) be deleted on your wiki
 • ...a Dormancy Policy exemption for your wiki

or report...

 • ...a Username Policy violation (whether in good-faith or bad faith)
 • ...a user suspected of abusing multiple accounts per the User accounts policy. You must link to specific revisions from both the suspected master and illegitimate alternate account(s)
 • ...systemic Code of Conduct problems occurring by one or more user(s) on one or more wiki(s) and/or systemic Content Policy violations on one or more wiki(s). Usurp PlantyB0i

Hello there. I am PlantyB0i. I want to get back on the wikis. However, my original account PlantyB0i ( https://awesomegames.miraheze.org/wiki/User:PlantyB0i which is this account by the way) had some problems due to me deleting cookies for a school problem. When the cookies were deleted, I tried to get into my account and I can never get in. Now I made an account PlantyB0i2. Now I need to usurp my original PlantyB0i. Heck, if you want proof of my Discord, go to the Qualitipedia server on Discord and you see my name in the admin's section. I'm gonna have to do proof like this as an indication that the Discord user RareWare64 aka PlantyB0i in the Qualitipedia Discord server is mePlantyB0i2 (talk) 00:03, 27 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

PlantyB0i2, did you verify RareWare64 to PlantyB0i on-wiki using WikiAuthBot? If so, the usurpation request can be done straight away. Otherwise, we will need to post a note here, and wait at least a week or so, to give that user (assuming it was not you, of course) a chance to object to the usurpation request. Alternatively, let me check with my Trust and Safety supervisor, Owen, on another potential option. Dmehus (talk) 00:14, 27 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Recently I did use the authenticated command for WikiAuthBot and it tells me "authenticated as User:PlantyB0i2". What about the usurpation for my original PlantyB0i account? PlantyB0i2 (talk) 03:06, 28 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
PlantyB0i2, this is now Pictogram voting wait.svg In progress. Please see the link for the timeframe for resolution. Thank you. Dmehus (talk) 03:23, 28 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
PlantyB0i, this has now been Yes check.svg done. Please do remember to add, and confirm, your valid e-mail address to your new account, should you forget your password. Additionally, I would also strongly recommend saving your password in a safe place, perhaps using KeePass or LastPass. Finally, if you do opt to enable two-factor authentication on your account, please also save your recovery tokens in a safe place. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 07:17, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Delete Colorpedia

The wiki Colorpedia is old (no contributions for the past 180 days) and per Dormancy Policy, can the wiki creators delete this wiki? Silicona (talk) 19:03, 3 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Silicona, is TheCubee your alternate account, looking at the wiki request? If so, can you login and request this? Dmehus (talk) 19:09, 3 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Silicona, assuming not, having looked into this a bit further, I can confirm the wiki is indeed eligible to be marked for deletion. The only reason it was not was a January 2022 SRE technical reset of all wikis' last RC activity dates. Therefore, in cases like this, Dormancy Policy does allow for manual deletion by Stewards. The reason I'm not sure this would be the best solution, though, is two-fold. Firstly, as an identified en-gb interface language user, why not request colourpedia.miraheze.org? That should be available. Secondly, manually deleting the wiki would not make it available immediately (it's still restorable). You'd still have to wait a minimum of two (2) weeks before it could be dropped by SRE. That's if SRE ran the script to backup and drop deleted wikis in two weeks. It's their discretion when they run that script. So I'd prefer the first option. Dmehus (talk) 19:16, 3 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No, TheCubee is not my alternate account. Silicona (talk) 19:43, 3 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Silicona, thanks. Let me know how you wish to proceed. Dmehus (talk) 20:03, 3 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Silicona, it looks like that's been decided for you. MarioBonFan requested colorpediawiki be reopened. Thus, you can either (a) hold a local election there requesting bureaucrat and sysop permissions and stating how you plan to revamp the wiki or (b) use Special:RequestWiki to request colourpedia.miraheze.org, defining a clear purpose and scope for your wiki. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 01:51, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Can stewards go to User:Silicona/Local election in Colorpedia? Silicona (talk) 18:32, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Silicona You've not answered my question on why requesting colourpedia.miraheze.org would not work for you. Dmehus (talk) 21:14, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Inactive Bureaucrat

Request for removal of Bureaucrat/Founder User:OttoVonBisquick on the carnalinstincts wiki. Reason: User hasn't made any edits/has left the community for over a year (Ref: Contrib). I'm pretty much the sole contributor and Bureaucrat for this wiki. (Ref: Contrib) Transgressor (talk) 10:09, 6 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Transgressor, thank you for your request. Can you please notify the user that you've requested a Steward remove their bureaucrat bit via their locally user talk page if they do not respond to your note (within a week or so of you leaving it) that they wish to retain the local permission? If no response, we can remove it in about 5-7 days or so. If your wiki has other recently active contributors besides yourself, you should also add a note on your wiki's Main Page inviting users to provide any comments on OttoVonBisquick's local user talk page. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 04:57, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Dmehus, no response from user. Requesting to proceed with the original issue, thanks. Transgressor (talk) 19:43, 13 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Dmehus - done: see here. I'll get back to you in 5-7 days or earlier, should I receive feedback. Transgressor (talk)

Bot account rename

In accordance with my own request, I'd like to request that User:Arcverbot be renamed to "Chrsbot". — Arcversin (talk) 22:13, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Chrs, though your bot was just renamed from ImportBot barely more than a month ago, I will Yes check.svg accept this global rename request, since it's in keeping with your main account's global rename, with the understanding that you should not request a global rename again without a very compelling reason. Dmehus (talk) 02:32, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Chrs, Yes check.svg Done per above. Dmehus (talk) 02:38, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Backrooms on wikia

I don't have much time to type this, but there is a page on the backrooms wikia that violates fandom guidelines, which could cause the wiki to get shut down. This is one of the largest wikis on wikia, and I don't even know whether it could be moved here. If it dies, 3 years and 2500 pages will be gone. Sheep42 (talk) 13:41, 9 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not going to give away my wiki, I'm just wondering what to do with the other wiki. Sheep42 (talk) 15:50, 9 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Are you a local administrator on the other wiki? If so, removing it might be the most logical step to take. Otherwise, if you’re unaffiliated with the Fandom wiki and this page doesn’t exist on the Miraheze version then there’s not much you can do. Agent Isai Talk to me! 16:01, 9 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Use WikiTeam dumpgenerator.py (with difficulty as it currently requires the older Python 2.7) to dump the Backrooms Wiki and then import the dump into Miraheze. --Rob Kam (talk) 17:19, 9 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Delete woodland wiki

Can woodland be deleted? I'm merging it into another wiki.  Anpang📨  01:41, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Anpang: This seems to be reasonable and in order; the deletion is Yes check.svg done. --Raidarr (talk) 11:48, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone please reopen Wage's World Wiki?

https://wage10.miraheze.org/wiki/Special:Log?type=managewiki&user=&page=&wpdate=&tagfilter=&wpfilters%5B%5D=newusers . It is because people can edit things and adding stuff to articles to help the articles. I will see if this works and the wiki could reopen. MarioBobFan (talk) 03:37, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This wiki was manually shut down and its intended community and creative concept is long defunct. I'm not sure how it's stayed up this long given it was closed down in 2020 I see why, recent changes data was reset probably on the eve of its deletion. Nonetheless, I require a much more compelling case to reopen here, ideally an original operator with contributions to the wiki. For my part I'm going to have to declare X mark.svg Not done. --Raidarr (talk) 11:42, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I Yes check.svg concur with Raidarr here as well largely per the same or substantially similar rationale. Given the existing contributors, and multiple ones, had log actions and edits which together suggests some sort of coordinated action to close the wiki, I would also decline to reopen on that basis. Additionally, per the recent Dormancy Policy, personal public or private wikis largely or wholly about a certain subject wiki user may only be reopened by the subject user, or by Stewards with consent of either (i) an other party authorized by the subject user or (ii) the subject user themselves. I haven't assessed the extent to which this wiki is about the subject user, if at all, but the Main Page does suggest it may be, at least in part, Wage's personal "diary" of sorts. If there's any pages you wish to retain, you're welcome to export them using Special:Export, but you shouldn't just export all the pages, either. Dmehus (talk) 14:58, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
OK. It could be reopened, and I don't why it hasn't been deleted. MarioBobFan (talk) 22:34, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Given what Raidarr and I have described above, there's actually a more reasonable argument to manual deletion in accordance with Dormancy Policy here. Please also consider reviewing these "battle-tested English Wikipedia Manual of Style style guidelines with respect to indentation of your replies on talk pages (including noticeboards and user talk pages). Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 22:39, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please completely disable an account

Hey you remember a user named, Kingjorbs? Well, he told me recently that he doesn't want to be associated with the site anymore, so can you please disable his name and profile pic on the wikis he's on? Just like this for example: "MirahezeGDPR e86691ebea3a336a8f8643e6b5243b20". It's just to respect his wishes, and the only reason he did that is that he decided to retire from Miraheze as a whole, and just recently he said he didn't want to be associated with the site anymore. Pen567 (talk) 00:06, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Pen567, we can definitely do that, sure, but that will have to be handled by the Trust and Safety team. I'll unlock the account now, so the user can provide a confirmation edit the Trust and Safety team, but can you also have the user e-mail the Trust and Safety team requesting that they want this done? For regulatory compliance purposes, they would also like to know the user's country of residence. Please ensure the user does not post this publicly, but rather e-mails directly to the Trust and Safety team. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 00:24, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I am actually an alt of the user, Kingjorbs, and Pen567 just came up to me right now, and asked me to comfirm it, so yeah I want you to completely disable my OG account, as I don't want anything to do with the site anymore, and I used a random email that I can't remember so I can't do what you said. Also, please delete all my comments from the wikis I was on, and I've actually moved on to other things, that I'm not even interested in the site anymore. Also the reason why I did the stuff I did (getting blocked from the wikis I was on, is because I wanted to retire from the site as a whole, and just recently I don't want to be associated with it anymore. So please do me a favor and please completely disable my OG account, and pretty much this one too. Drockson321 (talk) 00:45, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If I unlock your Kingjorbs account, will you confirm that here? Dmehus (talk) 01:05, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Drockson321, I've taken the liberty of unlocking your stated alternate account (Kingjorbs). Could you please login with that account and confirm Drockson321 as your alternate account? Additionally, can you confirm that you've e-mailed the Trust and Safety team with the requested information above? Dmehus (talk) 01:40, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I have confirmed that Drockson is my alt account, and can I have a link to the email address to the Trust and Safety Team? Ik I'm late btw. Kingjorbs (talk) 19:53, 13 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Kingjorbs, Face-smile.svg Thank you for your account confirmation edit. The Trust and Safety team can be reached at ts(at)miraheze.org. In your e-mail message to them, they will also ask you for your country of residence, or, at minimum, whether you reside within either (a) the United Kingdom or (b) the European Economic Area. If you reside outside those geographic areas/locales, they will still process your request, but there are additional regulatory compliance requirements with respect to timelines for action, mainly, with regard to users in those areas. Dmehus (talk) 03:32, 14 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Disable my account

I would no longer like to use the Miraheze site. Can my account be disabled? BraceletyFan77 (talk) 12:54, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

BraceletyFan77, okay, this can be done. Please ensure you have a registered, confirmed e-mail address associated to your accoumt, that you remember your account password, and that you save your recovery tokens, if you have two-factor authentication enabled, as you will need them should you wish to either (a) e-mail Stewards stewards(at)miraheze.org to request an unlock or (b) e-mail the Trust and Safety team later to request an anonymization of your account in accordance with the Data Request Process. If possible, can you please reply here confirming the above conditions to be true? Dmehus (talk) 07:04, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for the late reply but yes, I remember my password, but I don't have an e-mail associated with my account. My account can be locked, I'm leaving Miraheze. - BraceletyFan77 (talk) 17:42, 17 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
BraceletyFan77, okay, I will lock your account. It's technically recoverable, but any private data associated with the account will remain with the account in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Policy, of course. Should you wish to change your mind and request removal in accordance with the GDPR, you will need to e-mail the Trust and Safety team at ts(at)miraheze.org, and they will very likely require a confirmation edit, so it will be imperative you remember the account's username and password in that case. Dmehus (talk) 18:32, 17 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yes check.svg Done. Dmehus (talk) 18:42, 17 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request an exemption from the dormancy policy: Wordle Hub

Wordle Hub(https://wordles.miraheze.org/, dbname: wordles) is a wiki for compiling a list of all wordle-like games. This wiki has 600+ entries and now it becomes hard to find a new wordle from the web. Based on this, I request an exemption from the dormancy policy. Thank you. Lens0021 (talk) 07:02, 13 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Lens0021, I can take a look at this a bit later, but are you aware that, in many cases, wikis do not need an exemption to Dormancy Policy, as wikis are only closed after sixty (60) days of complete inactivity (i.e., no edits at all, and no local log actions at all, either). Even where wikis are closed, any bureaucrat can reopen the wiki. If bureaucrats are not active, any contributor, or even non-contributor, to that wiki can request a Steward to reopen it, and that would be done, unless it was clear there was a local community decision to close that wiki. Wikis are only marked as deleted after one-hundred eighty (180) days of zero edits, zero local log actions, etc. Even there still, wikis can be undeleted by Stewards, upon request from an existing contributor to the wiki. Dmehus (talk) 07:16, 13 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I see this would not be urgent. I just thought this will be required in the near future. Thank you for informing me of the details on the dormancy policy. Lens0021 (talk) 08:22, 13 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thanks. Happy to help. I'll take a closer look at your wiki in terms of wiki activity, locally active community, and content on or before this weekend. Dmehus (talk) 02:47, 14 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

[Ajhalili2006] Request for userpage redirect for my former username

Requesting exemption from dormancy policy for Godherja wiki (godherja.miraheze.org)

Due to the nature of developing a total conversion mod for a game, there will be breaks in activity where all the information is up to date and there isn't much to add until a new patch is dropped. As a result, we would like to request an exemption from the dormancy policy. :)

If you want to check out the mod and its popularity you can check its workshop page: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2326030123 ReciterofPoetry (talk) 02:56, 15 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Why was Thyrtu blocked?

https://terribletvshows.miraheze.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Thyrtu . Also, I need the reason of why he was blocked. MarioBobFan (talk) 05:12, 16 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

MarioBobFan, Thyrtu is not blocked on terribletvshowswiki. There were, however, suggestions on the companion wiki of user accounts policy abuse occurring. As such, the user has been now globally locked as an illegitimate sockpuppet of RickERB23, who has been encouraged to take some time away from Miraheze, reflect on their behaviour, and then properly appeal firstly to Stewards when they're willing to abide by and respect our global policies. We will then concurrently assist the user in properly appealing their local blocks. Hope that helps. Dmehus (talk) 05:24, 16 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Please also note that you do not need to ask at stewards' noticeboard why every user is locally blocked. You should ask these questions locally first. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 05:26, 16 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
OK. MarioBobFan (talk) 16:00, 16 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Can you exempt Food Dye Studios Wiki from Deletion?

This is because, my wiki is almost finished and I don't want my wiki being erased. I want people to able to go to this wiki for visiting information about Super T from the comic book series called, "The Building Showdown". Knowing information about this show and anything that's similar to it. It has some information about the website. Detailing things about what an FDS Account is, its apps and so much more. Kew1119 (talk) 15:47, 18 April 2022 (UTC)Kew1119[reply]

Kew1119, thank you for your request for an exemption to Dormancy Policy. I will aim to review your request later today, but to ensure there's no misunderstanding, most wikis do not need an exemption. This is because they have at least some level of regular activity. You should, therefore, note that wikis are only marked as "closed" after 60 days of complete inactivity (excluding user names and CentralAuth automatically attaching users to your wiki upon their visitation). Wikis are only marked as deleted after 180 days of complete inactivity (excluding the same as above and no log actions, no edits, nothing). They are still restorable at this stage by Stewards upon request of an existing contributor. As well, it's important to note that wiki databases are not dropped when they are marked for deletion; it can be anywhere from a minimum of two weeks after being marked for deletion and indefinitely; the decision is based on SRE's needs. Finally, for public wikis, one of our SRE volunteers regularly uploads XML dumps of all public wikis, usually at least semi-annually. Hope this helps. Dmehus (talk) 16:00, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

change my name

change it to “that guy in the corner” Poop fart748 (talk) 15:47, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Poop fart748, thank you for requesting a global rename. That username is overly generic and That guy [...] seems to be a meme used by cross-wiki vandalism only accounts. Therefore, if I might ask you to pick a sufficiently specific username to identify yourself, one which doesn't violate our Username Policy, of course. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 15:54, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
How about king of grass Poop fart748 (talk) 18:05, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Poop fart748, King of grass should be fine, yes. Will you plan to keep that name for at least the next 12-24 months, if not longer? Dmehus (talk) 18:12, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah Poop fart748 (talk) 18:16, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yes Poop fart748 (talk) 18:36, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Poop fart748, thank you. While you may have locked in your choice in name. Unfortunately, recent events have superceded that, and your account is now Yes check.svg locked back up in their sock drawer. Please see also User talk:Octahedron foundation. Thanks. Enabling SemanticMediaWiki for Conworlds

On behalf of the Constructed Worlds Wiki, I am requesting the SemanticMediaWiki extension to be enabled on the wiki. Thank you!  Miraheze Logo.svg centrist16 | P mail.svg | Discord color D.svg 02:02, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Centrist16, this has been Yes check.svg done. Please note that this is an experimental feature, may be disabled at a moment's notice with or without warning, and that you should retain regular XML dumps of your wiki. There was an uncaught issue that did not produce itself during the testing phase on our test environment. It will require SRE being available to run a MediaWiki maintenance script after the Steward enables. We will update the documentation. Anyway, Universal Omega, has now Yes check.svg re-enabled it following the MediaWiki maintenance script being run. As well, you should know that it disabled your WikiBase Client extension, as it was incompatible. Dmehus (talk) 03:23, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Dormancy Exemption Policy

Hi, I wrote back in mid March to see if I could get an exemption to dormancy checkmark on my page, someone responded but I never heard anything further. Is this something I can get please? Thank you, Ellohyin
My previous post with steward response is pasted below.
Exemption from Dormancy Policy
I would like to ask that My Wiki have the check box for Exemption from Dormancy Policy ticked. The wiki is a private, personal project/co-op with one other. The wiki is strictly for information to do with the project and will only be sporadically added to at this point. We have outlined the majority of the information that has been and will be added. Thank you. Ellohyin (talk) 01:31, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
I'll aim to review your request this weekend, as this needs more time. Thank you. Dmehus (talk) 05:26, 17 March 2022 (UTC) Ellohyin (talk) 10:17, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please globally lock my account?

I’m starting to lose some interest in these Qualitipedia wikis and feel like I did a bit of a poor job on some of them (e.g. creating lots of articles in very little time on the Shows & Episodes wikis, some were biased and nitpicky - even though it was because of the episodes being in their show articles' bad/good episode lists anyway. Although I stopped doing that in recent months). I’ll still scroll through some of these wikis at times, albeit never signed in. Connall2021 (talk) 13:31, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Connall2021: I'm very sorry to see you leave the platform. :( DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) (contribs) 13:41, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I share DarkMatterMan4500's thoughts and am sorry to see you leave Miraheze as a user and hope that you will one day decide to rejoin us. Yes check.svg Locked. Reception123 (talk) (C) 15:13, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Connall2021, I echo Reception123's and DarkMatterMan4500's thoughts as well, and, additionally, wish to let you know to be sure to remember your account password, should you wish to request an unlock of this account. Should you change your mind, you may e-mail Stewards at stewards(at)miraheze.org. Dmehus (talk) 05:09, 20 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please Delete TurtleWiki

Following this diff in which both TurtleWiki bureaucrats have agreed to delete the wiki on the pretense that it is a private wiki for personal world-building and the founder no longer wishes the content to be available online, I would like to request said expedited deletion of TurtleWiki. Additionally, if possible, I would like to have all of TurtleWiki's content & data removed from Miraheze, including its content archives (as referenced in the Miraheze ToU). Thank you for understanding, Turtle84375 (talk) 07:45, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Turtle84375: while there may be followup with addressing backups and other technical means I am less aware of (especially with the invocation of ToU), the specified wiki is Yes check.svg deleted by reasonable request, natural right as a more private wiki and properly gathered consent. --Raidarr (talk) 10:39, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Raidarr: Thank you, I will await said followup. Turtle84375 (talk) 19:58, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request for OAuth2 client approval for client ID 9d641669f3adc6d56cdedb54350ea77b

NOTE: This OAuth client approval request was from this Phabricator Maniphest task, but requested to be moved here by an sysadmin for visibility.

I would like to request for consumer client approval of the development OAuth2 client for the Verification Endpoint API Discord bot and details about how we implement it are within this wiki page on Recap Time squad Wiki.

Due to how we deploy stuff in Autocode (we use separate OAuth client ID-secret combo for production, among other secrets), I would like to approve the development OAuth client first, and then I'll request for the production one soon when start shipping features to production in the future. I would also like to remove the OAuth1.0a version of it with its client ID a09e77cfd46050e4d875af5e09579c77 since I decided to use the OAuth2 version of it instead.

@RhinosF1: The code for my OAuth2 client implementation is available for review on https://gitlab.com/RecapTime/infra/rtapp-verify-backend-autocode/-/tree/main, though its not yet production-ready so I'm currently testing it in development deploys and I'm not sure if authorization_code grant type is allowed here since I'm being thrown by some errors saying that grant_type isn't valid during token exchange process. Andrei Jiroh (Miraheze Meta user talk or local wiki | contribs across wiki farm | send email) 15:21, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I also want to request OAuth client approval for the production client too (client ID: ea15c17b8ac9979831462531453c06e5), since it also uses the same code, through production release processes apply. Thank you for your request. A member of SRE will review this soon. Agent Isai Talk to me! 03:33, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Crappy GachaTubers Wiki

Should this wiki be closed now? The REQC about closing it has been around for a while now. Also, Dreadful Restaurants and Foods Wiki is closed, however is it possible that the Hungry Jack's page could be imported to the Chill Place if @TigerBlazer: is okay with it? I would like the page to be kept as it's about more than just the quality of the food and much rather the company overall. FatBurn0000 (sandbox | CentralAuth) 07:59, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm inclined towards outright deletion of CGTW both by the vote and by its inherent contradiction with the content policy. That said, as an (early) voter on the matter I will defer until I've consulted with Dmehus on taking the action. --Raidarr (talk) 08:42, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
FatBurn0000, there are definitely some pages (at least half) which violate Content Policy, some more seriously and others in a more mild way. Moreover, excluding redirects in (Main) namespace, non-Content Policy violation pages, and the local RfC, there were a grand total of less than 10 stub-class (or less) content pages. Thus, there would be no loss in content. Finally, I do feel any renamed and rebranded wiki request, from whoever wants to take it up, whether it be FatBurn0000, FranciscoLol2009, or someone else, should have to go through a more thorough vetting by wiki creators. Accordingly, this has been Yes check.svg deleted. Dmehus (talk) 04:03, 23 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
