Hi YellowFrogger,

Though removal log action gives absolutely no substantiated detail on why the <code>patroller</code> bit was being removed, I've looked through some of your recent patrols, and do see some justification, albeit a bit weak, not without a warning first, in my view, for removing it. That being said, you are very helpful as a Meta translator and you generally try and help users on the noticeboards. There's a bit of competence is required at play here, rushing into things and so forth, and part of it is a language barrier. So, per RhinosF1's invitation in his closing comments at Meta:Administrators' noticeboard, I've instead re-added <code>autopatrolled</code>, as your edits generally do not need patrolling.

Additionally, I would suggest reviewing the patroller guidelines, our commonly accepted deletion reasons, and this English Wikipedia essay as well as this one, before reapplying for <code>patroller</code>. I would probably suggest waiting at least thirty (30) calendar days from today (or thereabouts).

Given your active translation on Meta, I wonder if instead you might be better suited as a Portguese Brasilian translation administrator on Meta Wiki, rather than as a patroller.

Tests

Hi. Please do not test on noticeboards as you did here on the Stewards' noticeboard. Instead please use the Meta:Sandbox or create your own userspace sandbox to test. Thanks. --Magogre (talk) 07:37, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Testwiki too Anpang Talk Stuff 07:48, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Magogre: Hello. The test was serious. I was seeing if the signature would blend in with the rest of the content. YellowFrogger (Talk UnEdits) (Bring back patrolled) 14:42, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't matter whether tests are serious or not. Whatever you are testing, test them in the sandbox. --Magogre (talk) 14:52, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. But I don't want complaints later about my subscription cluttering up the page. YellowFrogger (Talk UnEdits) (Bring back patrolled) 14:54, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The 'preview' feature might have worked best for this purpose. No live result, still get what you want. --Raidarr (talk) 15:05, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Raidarr: Good idea, but I was on my mobile, editing the section, as a result I didn't see the entire page and had to save the edit. YellowFrogger (Talk UnEdits) (Bring back patrolled) 15:33, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@YellowFrogger: Hello there, this thread, in a nutshell, is just about, You shouldn't have used the Stewards' noticeboard to test any edit, NOT even ANYONE EDIT at all. So it's fine as you've realized the mistake and hope to be careful next time.
You could use your sandbox, or the testwiki next time. I hope you understand and hope this helps as well.
It's okay now, let this thread be a DONE.
Happy editing there! Ugochimobi (talk) 15:40, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Preferred pronoun

In your user infobox, you put "What is this?" in the preferred pronoun section.

A preferred pronoun is what people will call you. Something like he, they, yellow, yellowfrog, frog, frogger. Anpang Talk Stuff 04:29, 8 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the explanation YellowFrogger (Talk Edits) 04:30, 8 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Template maker note!

The Template Maker Note
You made some cool templates, so you're given this "note"! This also means that you can give more copies of this note to other people.

However, to make it fair and make this note not spread like fire, you can only give this note to users that have made atleast 5 templates that has a file size of atleast 500 bytes and actually does something useful.
You can only give out 2 copies of this note, after you've given out your 2nd copy, delete your note and don't send new copies, because you don't have a copy of the note anymore.
You'll be able to give more notes when someone else gives you a new copy of this note.

Please be careful with the module templates:

Hi, I've noticed you placed multiple deletion templates on the documents you've created in your recent contributions from today. Please be careful when doing this, as adding deletion tags onto either template or module documents will apply to the original template or module. While I'm not an admin of this wiki, I'm just here to tell you to be very careful when doing so. DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) (contribs) 18:03, 9 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@DarkMatterMan4500: yes, but that's the point. These modules won't do any good anymore (because I not use the imported template anymore). And it is not possible to put deletion on modules. Thanks YellowFrogger (Talk Edits) 18:23, 9 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@YellowFrogger: Unless if they serve as disruptive vandalism-only pages, then there's no point of using the deletion tag on them. DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) (contribs) 23:38, 9 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
DarkMatterMan4500, it looks like YellowFrogger created module documentation in error, then self-requested deletion, which I've now Yes check.svg done. Your reminders are good-faith, please do try and make sure they are accurate before you advise someone. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 03:49, 13 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Red error

The template you just created Red error is the same thing as <strong class="error">Text here</strong> which results in Text here. No need for style="color: #d33; font-size: larger;", just class="error". Anpang Talk Stuff 01:36, 12 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Patrolling on Meta

Hi YellowFrogger,

Though removal log action gives absolutely no substantiated detail on why the patroller bit was being removed, I've looked through some of your recent patrols, and do see some justification, albeit a bit weak, not without a warning first, in my view, for removing it. That being said, you are very helpful as a Meta translator and you generally try and help users on the noticeboards. There's a bit of competence is required at play here, rushing into things and so forth, and part of it is a language barrier. So, per RhinosF1's invitation in his closing comments at Meta:Administrators' noticeboard, I've instead re-added autopatrolled, as your edits generally do not need patrolling.

Additionally, I would suggest reviewing the patroller guidelines, our commonly accepted deletion reasons, and this English Wikipedia essay as well as this one, before reapplying for patroller. I would probably suggest waiting at least thirty (30) calendar days from today (or thereabouts).

Given your active translation on Meta, I wonder if instead you might be better suited as a Portguese Brasilian translation administrator on Meta Wiki, rather than as a patroller.

Cheers,
